loved Arjun's concern n taking care of Roshni
n his special khichdi was amazing as well
Sameer n Arjun convo was superb
Sameer teasing him was really nice n funny
Arni moments were beautiful
loved the confession part
n Roshni's mind state was well depicted
loved Arni n their happy moments
Payal n Karan were superb as well
their fights were cute n funny

here comes the next part..

PART 13

'tu rona band kar meri maa,warna tsunami aa jayega,'Karan pleaded for the 50th time,

'karan,'payal pouted and started crying again,

'arre wo ja rahi hai,to ye to good news hai,tu ro kiyu rahi hai?'karan said again,

'mein koshish kar to rahi hu,per aasu ruk nehi rahe,'payal replied between her sobs.

'thik hai to tu ro mein chala pau bhaji khane,'karan turned around his heel and posed to go,

'pau bhaji?'payal asked raising a brow and licking her lips.

'haan socha sab busy hai to main roadstall jake jaldi se khake a ajau,per tujhe to rona hai na?okay bye,'

That did the magic.Payal wiped her tears hurriedly and got up with a smile.

'chalte hai,'she said and started walking towards the main road.Karan followed her shaking his head.

One of Payal's friend,Sunita,who had come very close to payal was being discharged from the rehab,owing to her recovery.Payal was happy when that was announced but today when she left she started crying continously.She was feeling miserable without her,just like her parents and her bro had left her.Karan saw her crying sititng on the garden bench and came to console her.Finally after an hour of rubbish talks,food did the magic.

Karan went to take permission for a leave of an hour and they went out.In the nearest street corner they ordered two plates of delicious pau bhaji and ate it sheepishly sitting on the tools provided.Payal was concentrating on the tasty curry and licking her fingers but karan had stopped eating and was looking at her.

Payal felt his gaze and looked up.He had slight smile on his lips and his intense gaze was looking at her face.With a piece of bread in her hand she too stared at him,trying to understand his gaze.That notified him and he looked down and started eating.Payal felt a pain in his eyes.He knew his past life but then what was bothering him so much for a few days she didnt know.She thought of asking him,

'karan tum thik ho?'

'haan kiyu?'he replied putting a morsel inside his mouth,

'Pata nehi laga tum takleef mein ho,kal raat nehi soye na?'

Karan stopped eating.He knew she had cried herself to sleep last night but she was awake,that was a big surprise for him.He looked at her and then started eating again.

'batao na karan,what is bothering you so much these days?'

'kuch nehi khalo lo jaldi nikalna hai,'

'nehi mujhe jan na hai,'

'kiya jan na hai tumhe?'Karan stopped eating and glared at her,

'jabse tumhare uncle aye hai,tum bohot pareshan rehete ho,abhi bhi ho,hua kiya hai?'

'tumhe insab se kiya matlab?dur raho mujhse samjhi?'karan shouted and walked away,throwing some money on the table,

Payal looked at his retreating back and felt tears welling up her eyes.She too got up and walked towards him.Karan was facing his back towards her leaning on the car bonet.She stood beside him silently.After a long time standing silently finally karan spoke,this time calmly,

'mere papa ke case ki hearing hai next month,aur mein yaha.Usko begunah is bar bhi sabit nehi kar paya to fir kabhi kuch nehi kar pauga,'he said and banged his fist on the car.

'karan dont worry kuch na kuch ho jayega,1 month hai na,tum thik ho jaoge,'

'payal mein itne saalo se koshish kar raha hu,kuch nehi hua,ab 1 month mein kiya hoga?'

Payal looked at his broken form and hugged him.He was surprised in the beginning but then held her back.They parted after some time.Karan spoke first,

'sorry wo..'

'karan I have a plan,'payal said clapping her hands,

'plan?kiya?'

'arre mere bhaiya police mein hai,he can help you,mein bhaiya se baat karti hu,wo zaroor tumhari
madad karenge tumhare papa ko begunah sabit karne mein,'

'per,'

'per kuch nehi,mein baat karti hu,tum tension maat lo,wo tumse mil lenge.Ab chalo wapas rehab chalte hai,'Payal said with her sweet smile,

'chaliye maharani,'

both drove back to the rehab..

Arjun and Roshni were preparing dinner together when Payal called him.Arjun took the phone and went out of the kitchen to talk with her.

'payal kaisi ho bacha??achanak call kiya??sab thik hai na?'

'haan bhai sab thik hai,ap itna tension lena band karo,mujhe apse kuch important baat karni thi,'

'kiya hai batao,'

'nehi phone pe nehi ap mujhse mil sakte ho?kuch important hai,'

'thik hai,mein kal ata hu,per tu thik hai na?sach bata?'

'uff oh ab supercop ko bhi apne instincts pe bharosa nehi raha,meri awaz sunke apko lag raha hai kuch hua hai?'

'payal,thik hai,main kal ata hu milne,tu apna dhyan rakhna aur medicines time pe lena samjhi,'

'samjh gayi baba,ab aur maat samjhao,aur haan suno bhabhi ko bhi sath lana,unse bhi milna hai
mujhe,'

'payal ki bachi firse chalo ho gaya tera?'

With some more silly talks both hung up.Arjun was tensed with what payal had so urgent to speak to and Payal was thinking how to convince her bro to help karan.

Arjun went back to the kitchen thougtful.Roshni didnt miss that and asked him.He told her about the whole conversation with payal and his thoughts about it.She was confused at her sudden concern but then they had nothing to do except visit her.They planned a visit at the rehab next morning.

Next morning Arjun and Roshni were waiting at the reception office to meet with Payal. Payal was informed and she came down to meet them along with Karan.After hugging them and finishing the initial greetings Payal introduced karan,whom Arjun was eyeing from the time he entered the room with Payal.

Payal had already arranged for the permission to go out and thus all four stepped out towards Arjun's car.They reached a small food stall on the highway and sat down ordering some food.

'ab bata aisa kiya urgent zaroorat hai ki tune aise bulaya?'Arjun asked payal occasionally glaring at Karan,

'bhai wo apse ek help chahiye,ye karan ka problem hai,wahi apko batayega,'Payal replied urging karan to continue,

Karan was hesitating a bit and almost gave up the idea of expressing his grief in front of an unknown person when roshni nudged him,

'batao na karan kiya hua hai?'

Roshni was observing payal and karan from the time they had come and she was amused to at the bonding payal shared with him.She being the type of person could never mingle with people well,but in case of karan she was so comfortable.She was somewhere finidng this a special relation and thought of encouraging it.Arjun would never do..

'Wo mere father ka ek case hai,mujhe unhe insaaf dilana hai,kiya ap meri madat karenge?'

'kiya case hai,details batao,'Arjun said in his authorative tone,

Karan started telling him everything from the beginning when his father was framed and then the case proceddings,evidences and finally the judgement.Then her father's death and now his urge to get him justice.Arjun was listening to him keenly,by the time he finished, Arjun had softened a lot for this man,he had not liked his close encounters with his sister and thought him to be a jerk but now he somewhere felt pity for him.

'thik hai mein koshish karta hu,unhe justice zaroor milega but mujhe wo sare court cases ke file chahiye,tumhare pas to ek copy hogi na?aur tumne jo investigation ki thi uski bhi'

'haan hai,ghar pe hai,mein to abhi ghar nehi ja sakta,to ap jake le sakte hai,mein uncle se keheta hu'

'thik hai,mein pehele case study karlu,fir tumse baat karta hu,'

'thanks Mr.Rawte,ap please kuch bhi karke sach ka pata lagayiye,'

'dont worry unhe insaaf zaroor milega,'

All finished their conversation and got up to leave.Leaving Karan and Payal at the rehab,Arjun and Roshni went back.Arjun directly went to Karan's uncle's place and asked for the case files.He took them with him and went back.Arjun and Roshni reached home and instantly started reading the files.

Both of them took turns to go through the files keenly.Both got so many loose ends in the proceedings seemed the police had also took efforts to bury the case.
