The Dark Knight In Shining Armour

The next morning Kripa woke up with a massive headache. She looked around at the unfamiliar surroundings groggily. Panic set in and she jumped out of the bed searching for her phone. Just then the door opened and in stepped a man that looked awfully familiar. His dark brown eyes with specks of gold seemed too familiar. As beautiful as he was, that wasn't a good thing. She was drunk and she did not believe in one night stands.
'What am I doing here? Where's my phone?' She demanded, attempting to hide her uneasiness.
'You fainted last night.' He replied. She had to admit the man not only had a face worth looking at but a voice that made her weak in the knees as well. It was smooth, deep and sensual.
'My phone?' Instead of replying, her gestured towards the nightstand table with his head. She followed his gaze and found her iphone laying on it, off. She cursed under her breath and rushed over, nearly tripping over her own feet. As it turned on, she saw 10 missed calls. All from Zoya. She was going to be killed. Nervously, she turned to face the mystery man once more.
'I, um, thank you? I guess? I'll have to leave now. My roommate is probably very worried for me.' She said, keeping her finger on Zoya's contact in case he tried to stop her from leaving and she had to call her. He, unfortunately noticed and smirked. To her dismay, he slowly advanced towards her. He stopped an inch away from her, her face almost touching his shoulder. She tilted her face up to look at his.
'I'm not going to kidnap you. You can leave, I don't care.' He muttered quietly staring at her. 'The names Angad Khanna'. He stepped back and she began to breathe again. He offered her his hand and she took it. Tingly feelings overwhelmed her and she pulled her hand out of his as if she was burned. His expression told her he felt the same.
'Kripa Sharma.' She said meekly. He smiled slightly and she felt her heart skip a beat. He didn't smile enough. His smile was too beautiful to be neglected so much by him. He reached for her phone and she let him, too awed. Moments later, he returned it to her and stepped out of the way. Smiling in return, she ducked her head and headed out. As she neared the door, she momentarily paused to stare a green eyed man standing in the living room with an amused expression on his face.
When she finally stepped outside, her beating heart began to calm. She wasn't sure if it was because of fear or the feelings she felt for the mystery man. She liked to believe it was the fear. She glanced down at her phone and found 'Angad Khanna' added as a contact. Without wanting to, she was smiling like an idiot. He had given her his number? She jumped when her phone vibrated and a text popped up. She clicked IMessages and found a text message from Angad himself.
'And I have your number'.
Out of instinct, she glanced at the house and found him standing at the window, grinning. She felt her breathe catch in her throat. He truly was a beautiful sight to behold. Blushing, she turned away and walked to the bus stop, deciding to call Zoya from there.
'KRIPA? Ohmygod! Where the hell are you? I was just about to go to the police station to report you as a goddamn missing person. God Kripa. I take you out to ONE party. ONE DAMN PARTY. And you go MIA on me!' Zoya screeched through the phone. Kripa held the phone away from her ear wincing.
'Can you somehow pick me up first? I'm in front of a bus stop nearest to that house you brought me to last night. I'll tell you everything later.'
'Fine. I'm coming.' Zoya snapped and hung up. Kripa sighed and sat down on the bench running her hands through her hair. She definitely had feelings for Angad Khanna but she was wondering if it was all going too fast.
