Chapter 25:

The ride from Mall to hotel was completely with silence. Even, Maya didn't say anything to which, Taani was grateful. Just like before, Taani was in front sit and Rey was on back sit. Maya was taking turns and turns. Taani was just looking ahead. She didn't dare to move her gaze from the current position. Her heart wanted to express so many emotions. Her heart was thudding in her chest. But, Taani pushed those feelings away. She suppressed and ignored her heart flipping. She put a brave face and looked ahead. She didn't dare to move a single muscle of her body. She knew, if she accidently glanced at side mirror, she would see Rey's face. And, that is the last thing she wanted. She just, can't face him. She is not ready at all. Right now, one glace at him and she will broke, she won't be able to do anything. Her emotions, her frustration, her feelings. Everything, will just explode. Her palms were sweaty and in fist. She took a deep breath and gulped.

Rey just don't know what to do. He just, don't get it. How should he feel? Should he be happy? Should he be Sad? Should he be pleased with what happened? Should he stay calm? Or should he regret? His condition was worst. Taani provoked his feelings. As much as it was unexpected for Taani, it was for Rey also. He looked outside. Then, he shifted his gaze to side mirror of the car. He dared. Rey could see, Taani's face. But, he couldn't read it. Her eyes were completely emotionless. It's like she hide her emotions. Rey can read her with just one look on her face. But, right now, he can't.

Maya applied the breaks, which bought Rey and Taani back to reality. Taani looked at surrounding. They were at hotel. She unclamped her sit-belt.

"I need to call..so..-" Before Maya could complete, Taani was already out of the car. Banglore's chilled freezing air hit her skin. She rubbed her palms on her arms and walked towards hotel without glancing back once. She took the card from reception and walked towards the floor, where her and Maya's room was. She swiped the car and unlocked the door. She put the card on some table and walked towards sofa. She took a support of arm of sofa and sat on it. She crossed her arms tightly around her torso and put her head back. She blinked.

" Taani.. whatever bothers you, it also bothers me." "What do you mean, why I do care?? Can't you see.." Taani bite her lips, everything was flashing in front of her eyes.

" I want to know, where are you? I want to know, With whom you are? I want to know,Are you safe or not? I don't want anyone's lusted look on you. I care about you because..." At that moment, Taani had read his eyes. Those eyes were so much intense, so much expressive. She never experienced this. She took a sharp breath.

"Because what??" She shouted.

"Because, I love you damn it..." He shouted on her face.

Taani closed her eyes. Her hands were clutching the cloth of her shirt. A single lone tear escaped from her closed eye. She opened her eyes and sat straight. She stood up and walked towards bathroom with heavy steps. She opened the door and stood in front of mirror.

She opened the tap and gathered the water in her palms and splashed it on her face. She kept splashing like for five minutes. She looked up in mirror. Her eyes were watery. She gulped a with her dry throat. With each second,new tears were forming, filling her eyes. She took towel from her right side and pressed it on her eyes. A sob escaped from her. But, she buried her face more in towel. Her legs were completely weak not in state to stand for a long time.

"I have to do this.." She crocked, her face was still buried. " I have to..." She repeated. She wiped her face and put the towel on sink. She bite her lips to stop the sobs. She looked at her reflection, her cheeks were flushed, eyes were slightly bloody and tip of nose was little red.

She looked at her nose. Tomato.

Her heart clenched painfully. She closed her eyes tightly and shook her head. She heard bell ring. She grabbed the support of sink and looked down and closed her eyes. She took quick breaths to calm down. She opened her eyes and sighted. She looked at the door and turned the knob and exited the bathroom.

Maya told Rey that she needed to attend some calls and she will handle the shopping bags also. She was in hurry. Rey came out of the car. Maya waved him last time and took car in reverse mode and she sped off. Right now, he is in his room. He sat on the edge of the bed, his elbows on his knees and his head in his hands. It was such a silly thing to argue. Taani's silence made him confuse and restless. But, what he expect from her? What can she say?

What The Hell?

His mind was completely messed up. He just needed one talk with Taani. He groaned and rocked back and forth. She just gave him silence. His emotions, feelings just took over and he actually shouted on her face, He love her.

This is so much complicated.

What she is thinking right now? Is she thinking about me? Rey rubbed his eyes with his palm. Whatever it is. He finally told her. He finally confessed his feelings. He finally expressed it. But, what now? He got up from the bed and started pacing the room. There is only one thing, his mind was repeating that he needs to talk with her. He has to. There is no freaking option. Rey put his hands on his face, continuing his pacing in room. He removed his hands from his face and buried them in pocket.

I am going to talk to her. This is final. Rey was experiencing so many emotions. Nervousness was the most major one. There was a slight frustration also. He clutched his fist and He walked towards door and opened it. He came out of his room. He looked at his left, Taani and Maya's room was at the end of the lobby. Lobby was aloof. He again ran his hand through his hair making it more messy. He finally stood in front of the doorstep and knocked on the door.

As, Taani was walking near to living room, she heard the second firm knock. She sighted and glanced around living room. Her hands were in fist. She knew, who was behind the door. There was no need to peep from peep-hole. Or using security screen. Her heart was pumping like crazy. She finally turned the knob and opened the door. Rey was standing there. His hands were in his pockets. His hair was kind of mess, but it was not looking bad. Those pair of honey brown of his were staring at her, with so much intensity, love and care for her. One moment, she actually wanted to get lost in those eyes forever. Rey cleared his throat. Taani was still holding the door.

"We need to talk, what happened in mall." He said to Taani. She merely nodded her head and opened the door wide, so he can enter in. She was clutching on door knob tightly for support. She slowly closed the door behind her. Rey was looking at her. She kept her gaze on ground.

"Woh..." Rey trailed off. Taani felt like something knotted in her stomach. She looked up. Rey was standing in front of her. But, he quickly turned and showed her his back.

"Look... Taani!" He started. Taani took some steps back, her back hit the door. "Whatever, I said is.. True. Every word, everything." He moved his face sideways. Taani was not looking at him. He turned and looked at her.

"Taani, say something." He whispered to her. She didn't look at him. She somehow formed a confused expression on her face. "What are you talking about Rey?" She asked.

Rey just didn't say anything. Only ticking of clock was the only sound in the room. She finally looked up at him. His eyes were on HER. She bite her lips and gulped. She was getting nervous under his gaze.

Rey was just numb when she said that. He just looked at her. Keeping his eyes on her. He started getting to know, she is ignoring it.

"You know exactly, what am I talking? Taani." He whispered to her.

Taani was breathing heavily. She didn't say anything. She couldn't make herself to speak anything. Rey slowly took one step forwards which made Taani press her back on door to make some distance between them.

"You don't remember, what I said to you? Or, What I shouted ? Not a single word?" Rey asked, while taking another step. This time, Taani didn't move. She just shook her head. Rey took another step towards her. She briefly closed her eyes.

"I love you..."

His voice was still booming in her mind. How can she forget it? She opened her eyes, finding Rey standing in front of her. She exhaled a shaky breath. She gulped.

"Nahi Rey, I don't remember anything." She said to him in whisper, she don't know, if he could hear it. Quickly, she looked down. Rey's face was hard.

"Oh really, Taani. You don't remember?" He asked. Taani just shook her head, keeping her gaze on the ground.

Rey's jaw was clenched. "Taani.. we need to talk. You can't ignore it." He got a grip on him and whispered to Taani in soft voice.

Taani's hair was falling on her face, hiding her face.

"Tumhe bhi pata hain aur mujhe bhi pata hain... Taani.." Rey left the sentence hanging. Tear rolled down from Taani's eye. Rey lifted his hand to put the hair behind her ear. But, before, he could touch it she stepped a side, out of his reach.

"Kya pata hain, Rey? " Taani asked, breathlessly. She turned and was about to walk away. Rey grabbed her arm gently. But, the spot where he grabbed, was the same where she has bruise because of his rough handling in parking lot. Taani winced as his fingers pressed on her bruise. She didn't pay attention on it because, she wanted to take a grip on her before she face him. She quickly hide her pained expression. But, it was too late. Rey didn't pull her. He came in front of her. And slide his fingers on the bruise, Taani gulped as she felt tingles ran down.

He looked up at her while rubbing his fingers gently on the bruise, he pulled her little towards him.

"I love you.." He whispered to her. His breath was fanning her face, his brown eyes were completely black. That was not because of anger. It was because of his deep feelings for her. His eyes said everything to her.

"I love you Taani." He murmured again. Silence fall between them. Taani just looked at his face, fitted his face, his eyes, every inch of him in her mind. Because, next moment was going to change everything.

"But, I don't love you Rey." She whispered. How much she tried, she couldn't control her shaky voice. Inside, her heart actually fluttered when he said those words again to her. But, outside she was showing nothing. Just a emotionless face.

Rey was taken back. Confusion and shock was present on his face. He looked at her with disbelief. He shook his head, " Stop playing games Taani. You.. You..No" But, Taani cut him. She removed his hand from her arm and stepped back. Her back was pressed on table's edge.

She gulped and dared to look in his eyes. " I don't feel anything for you. You are just my boss." She said. How much she wanted to vanish. The hurt, shock which was on his face, was unbearable for her.

"Beyond, The boss and secretary relationship, I don't feel anything. " She said again. Her eyes were getting watery. But, she somehow controlled it. She didn't let tears form in her eyes. With each passing second, she was breaking.

"Taani, I don't believe you. No.. I can't." Rey whispered. Taani frowned at him. " I am, myself telling you Rey. I don't feel anything from you. I don't LOVE you. You have to believe." She said to him.

"No. No... NO." Rey hissed at her. "I know you. Taani. This is not you who is talking to me right now." Rey whispered. Taani put her hand behind her back on the table, to get some support.

"I don't love you Rey. Get it." A tear escaped from her eye. She quickly looked down. Rey shook his head. He put his finger under her chin and lifter her face to look at him. He wiped the tear from her cheek.

"But, your eyes are saying something else Taani." He said, his eyes were boring into hers.

"Tum keh kuch aur rahi ho, par tumhari aankhe.." He said, while reading her face. She gulped. "No, Rey. I don't love you." She said it again. Rey's lips were in thin line.

"Agar tum mujhase, pyaar nahi karti toh yeh aansu?" He wiped by his thumb a newly formed tear which was rolling down her cheek. Taani took a deep breath and placed her hands on his chest. She could feel his heartbeats under her palm. A simple warm feeling ran through her body. But, she ignored it and pushed him away from her.

She wiped her eyes. "I am not wasting my tears for you, Rey. NO. I feel nothing for you. Get that, for god's sake, I don't love you." She shouted while pointing her finger towards him.

"If you don't feel anything for me, then why the hell you are sad. Go and look at your face Taani. You are lying. " He said to her.

"No Rey.. I..." She stopped and looked away. "I what, Taani?" Rey asked. " Leave it Rey.." Taani said while shaking her head. Rey took one step close to her. The proximity between them was making difficult for Taani.

"Rey LEAVE.." Taani said a little loud than necessary. "No, I am not leaving. Stop behaving like this." He said. He took another step towards her. "You are not the Taani, I know." He whispered to her.

Taani's breathing rate was increased, Rey was making it difficult.

"No, Rey.. You don't know me.. You DON'T know ME." She pushed him away and shouted, " I hate you Rey. I HATE YOU. I don't LOVE You." She shouted. " Leave me alone. I HATE YOU!!!" She shouted.

Rey just looked at her for some moment. He didn't say anything. Taani was taking heavy breath because of shouting.

"You hate me?" He asked. Taani looked down and closed her eyes. Her breathing was still rapid. "You don't love me. You don't have any feeling for me. Right???" He asked. He grabbed her by shoulder.

"Fine! " He hissed. She looked at him with wide teary eyes. "FINE..." He raised his voice. He released his grip on Taani's shoulder which made her stumble while standing. Rey's hand was on his side. He was not glaring at her, or looking with hard face. There was no HATE for Taani in his eyes.

"Fine. Miss. Taani. From now, from next moment, I am only your boss. And, You are only my secretary. That's it. Other than that, we are not going show our faces to each other. Purely business, no feelings." He said to her. He nodded his at her and took one step back. "This is the last time, we are talking as REY and TAANI. But, from now, we will talk only as BOSS and SECRETARY. You get that??" Rey hissed at her. Taani gulped and nodded her head weakly. Rey looked at her for some moment and walked towards door and slammed it behind him.

Taani jumped as she heard loud thump of door. She closed her eyes and let tears flow from her. She waited for some moment and broke down.

She slide down and sat on floor. She pulled her knees near her chest and buried her face in her hands. Taani was uncontrollably shaking. A loud sob came from and she started crying more.

"I love Rey. I love you so much." She sobbed. Her heart clenched painfully. "I am sorry.. REY." She cried endlessly. Her eyes were burning. Her face was soaked from tears, hairs were sticking on her face. She lay on cold cream colored tiled surface in fist. Her knees were still near her chest. She blinked and new stream tears started flowing.

"I love you Rey." She whispered.

PRECAP:

"Hie, beautiful what a pleasant view in the morning." Rahul smirked. Taani froze. "Rahhuull..."She stammered.

"Meheta Industries is going take this opportunity, Rey. You and your pretty little secretary won't be able to stop us." Rahul said as he glared at Rey and then smirked at Taani.

"I am going to regret you for what you have done in Shimala." He said, while looking at Taani.

Rey came in front of him, blocking his view. "We will see." Rey said.

Maya was flicking on TV channels. Suddenly, a news channel was flashing a BREAKING NEWS.

Maya and Taani looked at each other then towards TV.

Taani stood up from her place. She was completely shocked. Maya placed her hand on her shoulder.

Taani looked at the moon. It was blooming with its amazing white light. It's a complete peaceful night.

"What I did was right?" She asked while gazing at the stars.

How's the update???

Okay! I hope, I didn't disappoint anyone. I know, some people will come to me and ask me, why such a turn. Let me give you the explanation.

1. Taani and Rey were never in love with someone. They just don't know the feeling. It's so much new to them.

2. Taani did this because of Rey. Because, she loves him. She can't destroy his life like that. So, she took such a step.

3. They both love each other. Someone said, LOVE BECOMES YOU LIFE. But, LIFE IS COMPLICATED. So, Love is also complicated.

4. They are just going to realize how much deeply they care and feel for each other. You can't expect them to say, I LOVE YOU TOO from Taani.

5. May be you guyz are hating me for this, But. This is needed for TaaRey. It will make them more strong. And More close.

You can bash me all you want. :/ But, Please have some patience. You guyz waited till here. I hope, you can wait little more. I promise, I won't disappoint you at the time of confession. And, I didn't dedicate the chapter. Because, you guys will kill me. :P
