Chapter 5A:
Arjun and Chotu went to Nita's college.There they met with the principal and asked him for a copy of the marksheets of Nita's exams and also wanted to meet Nita's classmates.From them arjun came to know of Nita's earlier group of friends.They mainly consisted of sonali, who was the one to inform them about their group,akash,vinita,rajan and offcourse Nita. Arjun questioned each one of them individually and came to know that Nita was a good student,but she was very ambitious.
'She wanted to be the most popular girl in her college sir,'sonali added,'Though her accademic qualification was very good but she always longed to be like zarin,miss popular of the college and also rocky's girlfriend.Rocky is not a good guy sir.A rich spoilt brat,most of the time partying or hanging out with his so called gang.They call themselves 'RottenPoison.' They hardly attend college,even if they do,they never attend classes.Always bullying others,teasing girls,or irritating teachers thats what they are.'
'and yes sir,I think they were into drugs,I had seen him in our washroom once taking drugs',akash informed.
'then y didnt you complain to the principal?' chotu asked
'kiya hota sir,wo itna rich hai,uske papa college ke trustee hai,paise deke sara mamla khatam kar dete,ulta hamari parhai khatre mein par jati,hamesa se to aisa hi hota hai sir',akash replied.
'Nita ke sath unka rishta kaisa tha?'
'pehele to rocky use bilkul bhao nehi deta tha,par pata nehi achanak kiya hua,uske sathe bohot baat karta tha,ghumne jata tha yaha tak ki zarin se bhi alag alag rehene laga tha.but kuch din pehele uska jhagra ho raha tha rocky ke sathe.rocky to use thapad bhi marne gaya tha but sahil ne bacha liya or use bahar le gaya.'
'kis baat pe jhagra ho raha tha?'arjun asked
'pata nehi.phone mein kuch tha jiske liye jhagra ho raha tha.'sonali said
'okk thank you',arjun turned back to return to ETF office.
It was almost evening by the time he reached office.He was not feeling too well.The pain had increased due to the journey and he was feeling weak.The pain killers were not working any more.He stepped inside Rathore's cabin just to be informed that Rathore has gone to meet the commisioner.So,he went to the conference room and waited for everyone to Pop up with their findings.While he waited,he had not known when he had fell asleep.when he woke up all were already there.Rathore was also sitting,with a file in hand,most probably the atopsy file.Sakshi came in with a cup of tea and handed him over,which he took pleasently.He knew well, rathore had reframed anyone to disturb him and wake up,and knowing everyone of his team they would have obliged by that.
Rathore sensing his awkwarness started with the discussion.The post mortem report has arrived.Cocain overdose was the cause of death.Lots of amount of the powder was found in her lungs.Due to excessive vascular raptures the death has occured.The death occured last night at about 3.30 am.There were signs of struggle in her arms and neck,but they were light.She might have been forced to take some high amount of cocain but she managed to escape somehow.But since the intake was quite high she couldnt make it for long and by the morning she had died.
'tumhe kiya pata chala rawte?',rathore asked arjun.Arjun informed him about Rocky and the details had got from the college.
'that means Rocky is our prime suspect now.',sakshi concluded
'and zarin too,aurat ki kabiliyat pe shak nehi karna chahiye and gayal aurat per to bilkul bhi nehi.we should talk to them rathore ',arjun said
'Ayesha wo perfume bottles check kiye??',arjun asked ayesha who looked at liza..liza replied that there was nothing unusual normal perfume but quite expensive onces foreign material.
'Nita ke pass itna expensive perfume,might be a gift.isi liye chupa ke rakha hai shayad',arjun concluded.
'Possible,to kal pehele mein or arjun is rocky nam ke bande se milte hai...aisha, sakshi meet zarin and ask her.Shree details nikle??'rathore ordered them
'sir wo aj server mein thora prob hai,thoda time lagega,kal subhah thak ho jaiga',
'fine kal subah mujhe sare details chahiye,aj kafi late ho chuka hai,lets call it a day,kal subah milte hai.Good night everyone.Rawte 10 minute mein nikalte hai'
arjun nodded and rest wished them a 'good night' and went back home.They didnt know the night for these two would not be 'good' in any way.
Arjun stepped out of the lift at the ground floor and walked towards the parking lot.Rathore had not yet come down so he went in to get the SUV and was about to get inside the Driving seat when he felt a hand on his shoulder.'Let me drive',rathore said and got inside the car.Arjun walked to the other side and took the passenger seat.They drove towards their home in perfect silence.Arjun was looking outside and rathore had concentrated on driving.
After going for about 15 minutes Arjun saw a car just behind them.He didnt bother first and let it be but when rathore had slowed down and took to a side paving way for the car to move away and still the car didnt they understood the car was following them,rather had was remaining real close to them.Thinking what to do next both of them continued moving keeping an eye behind.Suddenly at the crossing they found a big truck moved in just in front of them and not allowing them to move.Rathore and arjun looked at each other and understood their plan,they had been cornered.Arjun tried to get down from the moving car suddenly someone in bike came and dropped in a bottle of tear gas inside which started to choke them.The car behind started to hit into them and they in turn bumped into the truck.But none of them moved.The gas was making it difficult for them to see anything and rathore just stopped his car.After few more bumps the car behind zoomed away taking a sudden U turn and so did the truck. Arjun and Rathore came out of the car,coughing and eyes red.After quite a long time they could compose themselves and got inside the car looking at each other.
'What the hell was that for? kaun the ye log??Nita murder case se related?' rathore said,'r u fine rawte?'
'hmm,possible but i think rathore most probably ye sushma case se related hai',arjun replied.
'ye kiya kehe rahe ho? wo ab hamare pass nehi hai rawte get that thing very clear.'
'fine.lets go '
they had started their way to home,arjun trying to get a bottle of water from from the back seat,leaned towards that and came across a chit which might have been dropped with bottle of tear gas.It said,
