Thank you everyone for the lovely comments and likes...Here I come with the next part of this story...

Chapter 9:

The drive to their home was silent.Rathore dropped Arjun at his lodge and moved away.It was a long day for him.Everything that had taken place,the nita murder case,the truth,the culprit and then his sapna's involvement had shook him up.He needed sometime in peace.He went to the beach and sat there behind a huge rock.The roaring waves were giving an insight of his inner soul.

He kept sitting there until all his turmoils had gone and what was left was slipping from his eyes onto his cheeks.He knew he could not break lose,lots of things still left to come up.Duties needs lots of sacrifices and he is yet to face the toughest one yet.He got up and head towards his home.

Next morning Rathore and Rawte were at the commisioner office early morning.They knocked on his door,

'Rathore,Arjun,come in'

'jai hind sir,'

'Baitho Rathore,tumhe kuch kehena tha'

'Sir,Nita murder case ki files bheji thi apko,Mahesh Tandon ko humne arrest kar liya hai'

'yes maine dekha hai,to isme itna important kiya hai?'

'Sir,Mahesh illegal cheezo ki smuggling mein involved hai,aur jis consignment ke liye nita khoon guyi,wo consignment Cromium and Tritium ka hai,very rare one,crores of money hai sir,achanak ye sab hamare desh mein transfer kiyu ho raha hai,pata lagana hoga sir'

'Saaf saaf kaho Rathore'

This time Arjun took over,

'Sir,Cromium and Tritium jaise cheze nuclear bombs banane mein use hota hai,aur humne mahesh ko interogate kiya tha usme pata chala hai ki isme sushma involved hai,usi ki consingment hai shayad'

'lekin ye baat to files mein nehi thi'

'Sir,humne ye baat secret rakhi hai,agar sushma ko pata chal gaya to unka jo bhi plan hai wo change kar denge and it would be more difficult to trace them'

'thik hai,Ill take care of that,lekin ab kiya karoge?aur koi information mili hai?'

'nehi sir,hum sushma se baat karna chahate hai,shayad usse pata chale?'

'Arjun,sushma ka case interpole ke pas hai,mujhe nehi lagta wo case hume milegi'

'per sir,its getting dangerous,kab kaise kiya hoga hume kuch nehi pata,aur fir hum ne hi to use pakda tha fir ab case kiyu nehi milegi?Sir,sirf ek sushma hi clue hai hamare pas,aur kuch bhi nehi'

'rathore,tum samajne ki koshish karo mein aise case ETF ko nehi de sakta'

'but Rawte thik kehe raha hai sir,we dont know hw much time we have,we have to save the people sir,ye information hum interpole ko nehi de sakte,it will be risky,I am sure andar ka koi zaroor involved hai,warna aise case achanak thori ETF se interpole shift hota hai?'

'i understand what you people are saying,mein koshish karta hu,per mujhe har bath ki details chahiye rathore,I need to answer my seniors.'

'Sure sir,ill make sure of that',Rathore got up to leave when,

'Sir,kiya hum abhi sushma se mil sakte hai?We need to talk to her as soon as possible',Arjun asked,

'Rawte,let me speak to my seniors,har bath ke kuch protocol hote hai,I need to follow them,ETF ko case milte hi tum sushma se mil sakte ho,give me some time'

'sir...,'

'Rawte lets go,jai hind sir'

'jai hind sir'

Both of them left the premises towards the ETF office.They reached the ETF office to find the office in total caos.Everyone was speaking,laughing and giggling but the frequency had increased several times.Sakshi was running behind shree with a file and Ayesha was almost falling from her chair laughing.Chotu was enjoying his coffee in between shouting at shree.Arjun came in and barked to gain their attention.Everyone wished a small 'good morning' and settled down at their work.Rathore moved towards his cabin.

After some time Ayesha came in Rathore's cabin with a cup of coffee.Rathore was lost in thoughts with a file opened in front of him.Ayesha knocked at his door but he didnt response so she came in with the coffee and placed the cup on the table slowly.

'Sir,apki coffee',still no response,'sir,coffee' a bit loudly,this time rathore came back to his senses.He took the cup and sipped the drink.

'Sir,mein kuch din se dekh rahi hu,ap bohot pareshan hai,khoye khoye rehete hai,anything wrong sir?',Ayesha asked him,

'nehi ayesha,mein thik hu,bas kam ka thora pressure hai',

'agar kuch help chahiye to zaroor bataiyega sir,we would love to help you,'Ayesha smiled and turned to leave,

'thanks ayesha,'Rathore looked at her questioning gaze and smiled ,'for the coffee.'
Ayesha smiled and went out.

By the afternoon Shree came to Rathore and informed that Sushma case has been transfered to ETF,but sushma will be kept in the special secured custody as she is kept now.But they will investigate her case.The files have also been sent.

'Great Shree,files ko extract karo,dekho kiya information milta hai,uske call records,account details,dubai mein uske dhande ke bare mein kiya pata chalta hai.Chotu,Ayesha,sakshi ki help lo and get as much information as possible.Rawte kaha hai?',Rathore ordered,

'Sir,cabin mein hai'

'ok,get to work,fast',Rathore ordered and left for Arjun's cabin.Both of them left to meet Sushma.They had taken the authorised letter with them to meet the prisoner.They deposited at the security and went in to meet her.

Rathore took a close look at her,she was sitting there.Her face didnt show any emotion.There was no remorse or anger.She looked up and saw the two men standing in front of her.A smile cropped up on her lips,or was it a smirk,no one could surely tell.But there was something in her eyes.They were the same ones he had seen before but now they were deep and calm.Calmness before a storm.She was becoming more mysterious for him with every passing second.She stood up,a little disbalanced,have been tortured.There are bruises all over her face,arms,neck,her jaw was bleeding.Rathore kept looking at her.Every part of her was unknown puzzle to him.Now he could distingwish between sapna and sushma.

She sat down and arjun took a seat in front,Rathore kept standing beside him.Sushma held up her chin and looked at Rathore,she smiled and called him,

'hi sammy,long time,kaise ho??'
