Got myself to read a story on IF after so long, and boy, ain't I glad? You see, my friends were talking about it and some of them highly recommended it. That got me reading this exceptionally well thought-out and wonderfully written mature story.
I'm not gonna lie, I was sort of worried about the age factor. I mean...I'm not really used to reading about this huge of a age gap and I was not sure if I'd like it not. Yes, call me immature, but...there are certain conceptions in mind that are so hard to bulge. But, good news for me is that I didn't mind the age gap in your story at all. Yes, I wouldn't mind a Khushi who's slightly older than her twenty one years, but this works too. Besides, I like how casually you're going about it and not exactly making a big deal of it. So yes, thank you :)Coming to the story. Omygod. So well though-out, well-researched (or you're just simply well-read), and so well conceptualized. You know what you're doing with this story and I love that about it! Feels like I'm reading a novel. So far, I'm loving it. And mind you, I was a student of political science, but never quite enjoyed politics in its reality. What I do enjoy is reading fictions which involves politics. And with my favourite couple, and the hottest politician, Arnav Singh Raizada, in it, could I have given this a miss? I think not. That being said, I'm seriously loving the setting you've chosen for this story and I'm most certainly loving the political backdrop. You've pulled it off quite nicely and you seem to know quite a about it a lot. Are you from MP, btw?Another the thing I'm absolutely loving about your story is your description of the palaces, havelis and it's wonderful architectural elements. I'm magnet to old historical structures, and all old things in general, and your writing is serving me the best of the wine, I swear.Romance and the chemistry between the leads are on one side, but what's equally important are the setting and the side characters, and their stories. And I love what you've done in that department. I am so intrigued about Aman's story and his connection with Anjali. At the same time, I want to know more abour Payal. Why Aakash is the way he is, and what made Arnav take his place? I'm waiting for you to unveil all these things!Coming to the leads, man isn't Khushi a mature woman, almost too mature for her age? But yes, I've met girls like that. And I love how strong she is. And yet, there's this innocence in her that I love. But its her feistiness that I love the most about her. She gives is back to Arnav the way I'd like to see her do. She's not the damsel in distress types. She is a heroine. And what do I say about your Arnav? He's hot for one. Too hot. He's confident, he's smart, his swag lies in the white kurtas and the Nehru jackets he wears, and he's a gentleman. Need I say more? I think I feel for this guy right at the beginning of the story...and no not just because of the face I'm imagining. It's his aura. And I applaud you for writing him this way. What I love the most about him is that he's not a royal jerk. And I say this because, you had sufficient ground to make him a beast, I've read stories which starts out like that. You will find lots like that on IF, and I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. My point being, I love that you've shown him a gentleman. Aah, well everyone has grey shades. And we all know he married Khushi for his own selfish reasons... but I still respect the man for his decision. Definitely a wonderfully written character. Also, dear god, these two have some insane chemistry alright! Had fun reading about a jealous Arnav :D and I can't wait to read whatever you have in store for us. I'm sure I'll love it :)P.S - Apologies in advance if I'm late with my future comments.
