~*Segment 2*~An Eventful Dinner
"What happened?" Abhimaan asked as he looked at Armaan's pensive face. Armaan had his hands folded and was looking outside his room's window.
"I don't know Abhi, but aisa lag raha hai, jaise..jaise something is surely gonna haapen.." replied Armaan.
"Of-course something's gonna happen, you are marrying my boy, bakra bali chadhne jaa raha hai after-all.." joked Abhi, but Armaan didn't chuckled, he just stood up and walked towards his closet, taking out his night clothes.
"Hua kya hai, tell me yaar!"
"I don't know yaar! It's like...I never forgot her Abhi, yaad toh uski mujhe har waqt aati hai, but today I am feeling as if, it's time.."
"Time for dinner!" came Sid's chirpy voice.
Abhimaan looked at Sid and then at Armaan who just nodded and walked away.
"Isse kya hua? Something happened?" asked Sid.
"Nothing unusual, he's thinking about Sam again, and said that it's time..I don't know what time he's talking about!" replied Abhimaan.
"It's Ok. Come, everybody's at dining table already."
"Yeah, let's go."
At the dining table, the Malik's, Modi's and Suryavanshi's were having a blast. They all were excited about Armaan's marriage with Ahaana except, Armaan, Sid and Abhimaan.
"I am so much excited, Armaan bhaiya is finally getting married! OMG! Just 2 days more to India's most opulent wedding!" chirped Shyla, Armaan's younger sister.
"Yup!" added Hansin, Abhimaan's younger brother.
"Waise Sid beta, after Armaan's marriage, it will be your turn to get married. Do you have someone, whom you want to meet us?" asked Abhimaan's father.
Armaan, Abhimaan and Manya looked at Sid who fumbled with his spoon and dropped it in his plate, they knew about Sid and Tamanna. Only the mothers of the house, knew about Armaan's, Sid's and Abhimaan's relationship with Shilpa, except Manya, Sid and Abhimaan, but about Sid and Tamanna, no one else knew about them.
"I..woh.."
"Zaroor koi hai, that's why you are stuttering.." chuckled Sid's father, hi-fying Abhimaan's father.
"Actually Dad.." Sid was interrupted by the caller ringtone of his phone. Making an opportunity to escape out of this, Sid quickly muttered a, "Excuse me" and went away to answer the call.
"Hello.." greeted Sid.
"Siddhant.." came a soft and nervous voice.
That voice, that tone...Sid stilled at his place and stood numb as if frozen. It's been years he heard that voice. The voice that haunted him for the past few years, the voice he yearned to hear in real, the voice that belonged to the love of his life, his princess...
"Tamanna..." whispered Sid.
"Kaise ho?" asked Tamanna, nervousness never leaving her voice.
"Itne saalon baad sirf yahi poochne ke liye phone kiya hai?" asked Sid, hurt evident in his tone.
"I am really sorry Siddhant.."
"It's of no use know Tamanna."
"I know, I have hurt-ed you in many ways, especially by walking out of your life, as if I was never there.."
"Don't dig up the past Tamanna, just come to the point.", anger took over Sid's emotions. He's been living like hell and here she was asking, "kaise ho?" Bloody hell.
"Fine..I want to meet you guys. You, Abhimaan and most importantly Armaan.."
"Why?"
"Don't you want to know, where your Sunshine is?"
That had Sid alert and moving, he immediately asked, "You know where she is? How is she? Why didn't she contact us? And why now?"
"Siddhant, just calm down, I.." Sid interrupted Tamanna and whisper-yelled, "Calm down? Like f**k, I am going to! Bloody hell Tamanna, you just call me out of nowhere, then tell me about Sunshine, and then you are asking me to calm down!"
"Stop cursing Sid, it doesn't suit you!"
"Then tell me where the hell Sunshine is?"
"She won't come to you, you have to come here. You have to come Devgarh, she's here at Devgarh."
"What..Devgarh? Why? And why can't she come and meet us?"
"Woh nahi aayegi Siddhant, bohot ziddi hai woh.." Sid chuckled, he knows it better, how stubborn his Sunshine can be.
"She has reasons Siddhant, weird or stupid they may but it's Shilpa, weirdness runs through her blood, and you guys know that better.." Sid could guess that Tamanna was smiling, even he couldn't keep off the smile that crept onto his face.
"Just tell me the address!"
"Do you have something to note it down?"
"Message it to me, we are coming!" declared Sid and hung up the call, before Tamanna could say anything more. He just couldn't listen to her voice and pretend as if he wasn't affected.
Leaning against the wall Sid remembered the last words she said to him when she made an exit off his life, "I don't and i can't Siddhant..I am really sorry, I just hope you'll understand!"
A beep sound made Sid jerk and he looked at his cell phone. There was a text message saying..
12th street, Rainagar Road,
Near Moti-Lal Bhawan, Devgarh
"So it's really the time.." Sid muttered, tears in his eyes.
Back at the dining table, Sid glanced at Abhimaan and Armaan, who looked at him, nodded and stood up.
"Kya hua beta? Why are you three leaving the table like this? What about dinner?" asked Armaan's father.
"Yeah, Sid, beta what happened? Are you crying?" questioned Sid's mother.
"Mom, it's urgent, really.."
Sid's mother understood that Sid needed to be alone with his friends, it was something that was related to three of them. So she just nodded.
"Manu, we need you too.." Sid said addressing his second best friend, Manya, Abhimaan's wife. Manya shook her head and followed the trio to Sid's room.
"Yeh sab ho kya raha hai?" asked Hansin.
"I just hope ki sab theek ho.." muttered Sid's mother, giving Abhimaan's and Armaan's mother, a look.

"What happened Sid? Why are you crying?" asked Armaan.
"You were right Armaan, you were very much right. It is the time!" replied Sid, his tone laced with desperation, excitement, happiness.
"Sid what happened, what time are you talking about?" asked Manya.
"Manu..Manu..I am so much happy right now, I just.." Sid picked up Manya and twirled her around.
"Aaahhh.." shrieked Manya.
"Oye.." interrupted an angry Abhimaan, well who wouldn't be angry if someone twirls your heavily pregnant wife, like this?
Sid placed Manya on the bed and Abhimaan immediately sat beside her, taking her hand into his and asking if she was OK.
"What was that for? You know what condition Manu is in!" chided Armaan.
"Kya zaroorat thhi yeh sab karne ki?" yelled Abhimaan.
"Arre yaar, jo baat main tumhe batane waala hoon, usse sunkar tum log bhi meri tarah pagal ho jaoge!" chirped Sid.
"Kya baat hai Sid, aise react kyon kar rahe ho..?" asked Manya.
"See this..do you know what this is?" asked Sid, flashing his cell phone in front of Manya's face.
"12th street, Rainagar Road..arre yeh toh kissi ka address hai...bas issi ke liye mujhe itna ghoomaya?" whined Manya.
"It's just not a simple address Manya, this address holds our happiness..Armaan, mere yaar tu bach gaya yaar! Ab teri shaadi ka band nahi bajne waala, ab toh tera hi band bajega!" said Sid, hugging Armaan.
"Aurr Abhimaan..yaar! Basket-ball khelna phhir se shuru kar de..and I am so excited about this!! Wo-hooo.." Sid whistled.
"Sid!" Abhimaan yelled, holding Sid tight from his arms, "Why are you behaving like a mad man, and who's address is that?"
"Teri Sam ka..." trailed off Sid. Sid's remark, shook the insides of Abhimaan, he dropped his hands off Sid and stared at him with a hopeful expression.
"Sam.." whispered Abhimaan.
"Kya bakwaas kar rahe ho Sid? Why now?" yelled Armaan.
"I am not joking Armaan! It was Tamanna who called me..." Sid explained it all to Armaan, Abhimaan and Manya briefly, that finally they were going to meet the 4th idiot of the story.
After Sid explained it all, they all sat, not saying anything, just comfortable silence around them.
"I knew, I felt it all for a reason." Muttered Armaan, breaking the silence.
"I can't believe we are finally going to meet her again.." whispered Abhimaan, as Manya lovingly caressed his hand.
The trio looked at each other, a cocky smirk forming on their lips, Toh phhir ho jaye.." they yelled.
Abhimaan and Armaan ran out of the room, while Sid picked up his duffle bag, and started putting clothes randomly, not caring if they were mismatched. After 10 minutes to be exact, Armaan and Abhimaan walked back into the room, they had similar duffle bags, whose zipper they were still try to close.
Manya sighed and then smiled widely, knowing that know nothing can stop these 3 idiots from meeting the 4th one.
"So everything ready, idiots?" asked a cheerful Manya.
"Absolutely.." the smiled back. Abhimaan moved close to her and said, "Manya, I..main..tumhe iss halat mein.."
Manya smiled at her husband and kissed his cheek, "I'll fine Abhi, ghar mein sab hain na mere saath, aurr phhir, it's a matter of few hours only, I'll be fine. You go, and bring Shilpa back."
"There's a problem..." said Sid.
"What?"
"Ahaana..."
"Crap.."
"Armaan, Abhimaan, Sid, what are you guys up-to and these bags? Are you guys going somewhere?" asked Abhimaan's father.
"Armaan.." called Armaan's mother.
"Mom, I finally got her, we finally got her. I can't let her go this time, please mom, humme jaane dijiye!"
"Fine..go..I won't stop you.." said Armaan's mother.
"Lekin, kyon aurr kahan?" asked Armaan's father.
"Woh sab, hum aapko baad mein bata denge abhi bachon ko jaane dijiye." Said Abhimaan's mother, fully knowing that which, "her" they were talking about.
"But what about your marriage bhaiya?" asked Shyla.
"There won't be a wedding, for now at-least.." replied Armaan.
"You are running away from commitment Armaan.." trailed off Armaan's father.
Meanwhile, Armaan's phone rang up...
"Hello.." muttered Armaan.
"Hello Armaan beta, I am your Uncle Bharadwaj speaking, Ahaana's father."
"Yes Uncle"
"Beta woh baat toh mujhe tumhaare Dad se karni chahiye thhi, but I couldn't. But I guess that you'll understand our situation better."
"Uncle tell me what exactly you want to say.."
The whole Modi, Malik and Suryavanshi clan was there. They all were having perplexed expression on their faces.
"Beta woh your marriage with Ahaan,..it can't happen now!"
"Really.." Armaan's yelled happily, his face lit up like a Christmas tree.
"Huh?"
"Oh I mean..kya hua?" Armaan tried to cover up his happiness.
"Beta, she loved someone else and ran away with him. I hope that you'll understand our situation, agar humme pehle pata hota toh..I am really sorry beta.."
"Don't be sorry Uncle, main toh khud hi bhaagne waala tha!" chuckled Armaan.
"What?" asked a bewildered Uncle Bharadwaj.
"Nothing serious Uncle, just chillax, everything is fine! Don't worry, we have nothing against you and your family.." Armaan hung up the call and looked at his huge family.
"Ahaana ran away.." he said, making Sid, Manya and Abhimaan laughed out loud.
"Kya kismet hai teri.." Sid managed to say between his laughs.
"Yahaan yeh bhaagne ki tayaari kar raha thha aurr wahan Ahaana already ran away.." added Manya, holding her huge tummy while laughing.
"Poori kayanaath tujhe Sam se milane mein lagi hui hai yaar! Ab toh I am sure that Armaan ko uski Shona zaroor milegi!" said Abhimaan patting Armaan's back.
"Who Shona?" asked the fathers and Shyla and Hansin.
"We will explain everything to you, just let them go now..beta tum log wahan jaoge kaise?" asked Abhimaan's mother.
"Oh teri, in all excitement we forgot to think about that..and ab toh itni jaldi kuch ho bhi nahi sakta.." murmured Armaan.
"Take the car boys! Got and get her back here!" chirped Sid's mother, handing them the car keys.
"Yahan se Devgarh tak..uumm..it will take us 12-14 hours to reach there.." said Sid, searching for the directions on his cell phone using the navigation app.
"Toh chalen idiots?" asked Armaan, pulling the duffle bag over his shoulder.
In response, Sid and Abhimaan pulled their duffle bags over their shoulders and together the trio went on their journey to meet their 4th idiot. To meet, Sid's Sunshine, Abhimaan's Sam and Armaan's Shona.
