thanks for reading latha...i didn't want to make the grave error of stretching the story unnecessarily and in this age of internet and mobile phones its not difficult for people to find each other especially if your r a professional investigator...I will reveal bits and pieces about shlok's past in upcoming chps which will help help readers to connect the dots and understand shlok as a character!!!keep reading n watch out for more updates!!😉😉

Chapter: 5

"Is it true that Astha fled to Ahmedabad in the middle of the night?"Varad asked Shlok in a worried voice. "Yes" Shlok answered affirmatively. "What did you do Shlok? Damn it Shlok why did you have to spoil it all? What happened to sticking to the plan? Tell me what you did so we can fix it when Menon finds her?"Said Varad with controlled anger. "Chill Dada we don't need Astha anymore. I have devised another plan of taking revenge without involving that stupid vegetable farm in any way."Shlok said with deliberate ease and started grinning when thought about his perfect little devious plan.

Meanwhile in Kolhapur Mr. Niranjan Agnihotri paced the floor restlessly when Anjali entered the room bringing his Morning breakfast and tee. "Sahib, Tea." Anjali put the cup and saucer on the table and bent down to take blessings from her husband. "Did Shlok called about the farm papers? They were going to ready in a day or two." Asked Niranjan with his usual nonchalant expression which he dawned in public and perfected over the years. "No Sahib. Shlok didn't call and anyway you know he doesn't talk to me so he will call you only." Said Anjali with remorse in her voice. "Anjali you are his mother so he should be close to you and should be able to confide to you." Advised Niranjan in his firm voice. "Ho sahib I will try my best." Agreed Anjali in a timid voice. "Hu hu... What is this Anjali? Are you trying to kill me putting so much sugar in this tea? Don't you bloody know how to make tea even after so many years of marriage then go back to that god damn warm hole from which I picked you up." Uttering these words Niranjan threw the freshly prepared severely hot tea on Anjali's face which made her cringe and sobbing she ran over to the wash room where she started throwing cool water on the burns which were now starting to show reddening up.

She looked in the mirror and saw a older, battered and tired version of herself reflecting and thought "How the hell did I become this? How did I survive in this hell for so long: Seeing things, witnessing things and more importantly experiencing and bearing things I did? And why did I?Why didn't I say something sooner and why didn't I raise my voice against every injustice my children faced and against every burn or wound I suffered? I should have confessed for the sins I committed and for the sins committed to me and my children sooner. But not anymore. I will not suffer anymore and I will not let my children suffer by that monster. I just have to wait and get ready for the axe to fall." Thinking that made her smile and with that smile she cleaned up her mess and went to kitchen to make some more tea.

Here in Pune , Varad started talking with the Legal Department on the phone " Will a photo copy of the document do? Oh, we need an Original copy. Oh...okay...What about the Board and other trustees..." Shlok half listened to the conversation going on between Dada and the lawyers as his mind was somewhere else and kept on wandering about the time when he was enganged to Astha and were about to get married in matter of days.

"Shlok I have go home now as guests are coming over to give me blessings and later Aai is taking me shopping for my wedding outfits." An excited Astha started blabbering which made Shlok smile. " I would take you shopping for your wedding dress and then you can help me select my tux." Said Shlok which made Astha laugh hard and she ruffled his hair stretching up to her full height of 5'2" and then extending her hand and said "Oh Shlok which planet are you from? Don't you know the Bride and Groom don't go shopping together and see each other in their wedding outfits, it's bad luck. And what is it about wearing a tuxedo at our wedding? What's wrong with wearing a serwani?" "First of all I don't care about those stupid rituals and traditions and second of all I have never ever wore traditional attires like kurta or sherwani ever so I am not sure I am comfortable wearing them" Said Shlok. "You have never wore traditional clothes in your life. I would like to quote Kajol from K3G here about the pathani salwar aur adami bekaar dialogue which I don't really remember right now."to which Shlok gave blank expressions. "Don't tell me you haven't seen K3G. Oh no, next you will say you haven't seen kuch kuch hota hai. Kal ho na ho? DDLJ?"asked a surprised Astha. "I don't watch these kind of stupid senseless , unrealistic chick flicks with overemotional and over dramatic scenes where a whiter than milk Hero falls in love with a cute little innocent Herione. These movies are for emotional fools and sucker for romance and I am neither of them" Said Shlok. "Well I think they are realistic enough I mean look at us You a rich, handsome and so out of my league and you fell for me" argued Astha to which Shlok replied "Hmmm ...You may be right. Our life can be made into a movie with the exception of whiter than milk hero and not so innocent heroine."And they both laughed hard...

"Shlok wake up...Planet Earth to Shlok.. What are you dreaming about little brother? Our successful revenge?" Joked Varad to which Shlok didn't say anything as has has yet to find amusement in it."Look I talked to the lawyer it would be impossible to prove authencity of the document so we have to find the original report and also the both the Board of Directors and Trustees gave their green signal to go ahead. We are all set to dethrone Mr. Niranjan Agnihotri from the Chairmanship and appoint you. All you have to do is say yes." Smirked Varad to which Shlok also grinned and said "YES. The countdown to Mr. Agnihotri's destruction begins now. In the next 24 hours I will be the new Chairman and CEO of AGNIHOTRI EDUCATIONAL TRUST."...

I am sorry guys I know this chp doesn't have much of Shlok and Astha but I think this Chp is very interesting and important for the story as it will open up new possibilities and few unexpected twists which will make you drop your jaw!!!I promise you will get more of ashlok in the upcoming chp so stay tuned and keep on reading...SO KEEP ON COMMENTING GUYS PLEASE AND ALSO LIKE THE STORY...

wow this is a complicated, interesting story...the revenge is unclear, so not about just the farm, double revenge? against daddy? against brothers? and Anjali ready to fight back...all revved up to read more, please update soon...like the flashbacks of their courting scenes...would love to know what shlock has in plan for her
