"Shlok the Board is ready for you. First you have to address them about the main issue here: Making you the Chairman and CEO and then convince them that our dear beloved Baba is in no position to lead the trust as he will be busy dealing with his criminal charges and consequent court cases." Explained Varad to Shlok of their plan of action. "Don't worry Dada you just leak this piece of information to the media about that Son of B**** getting arrested for murder and domestic violence in the next two hours" said Shlok with utmost ease and calm hiding the volcanic emotions which were boiling inside him. "Look who is calling right now. Our good for nothing bas***d of a father has been trying to call us all morning and expecting us to bow down to him like fools which we were. But we are not fools over whose eyes he can pull wool anymore" Said Varad with anger in his voice. "Calm down Dada don't waste any more emotions on him. Ignore his call because if we pick up the phone now we can't continue the pretense of loving sons anymore and we won't be able to control our emotions and will give him a piece of my mind. It will spook him and he will try to pull some other stunt" said Shlok keeping a lid on his emotions uttering the words "He will pay for his crime and we will make sure he is put behind the bar for all the wrongs he did. And with his serious charges he will be gone for a really long time my guess is may be a life sentence."

At Agnihotri Nivas in Kolhapur,
"Why the hell this Shlok and Varad are not picking up their phone? They have never ignored my call in their life time. I am telling you Anjali something is wrong with them." Said Niranjan in an angry voice and flexing his fist as he usually did when he was trying to control his anger. At the same time his cell rang which he picked up on first ring without seeing who it was "..Shlo...Who is it? Oh Mishra say... What are you talking about? That can't be true. No why would my son go to the Board to remove me from my chair? I have no idea what you are talking about? ..." Niranjan could not believe what he was hearing as if his brain stopped registering words and their meaning. "Anjali did you know about Shlok's plan of removing me from my position?" asked Niranjan in a thunderous voice which usually made Anjali cringe and back down but today she stood tall and held her place and said "Well now that's done there is no longer any need for pretense is there my dear husband? Yes I knew about their plan and guess what I also know about your dark dark future as you will be spending the rest of your life behind bar." "Oh, now the kitten will show me her claws. Tell me Anjali are you really so brave now that you have forgot all about your dear old friend THE CANE. We will see how brave you are when I will first clip then cut off all your wings that forget about flying you won't be able to walk" said Niranjan slowly coming towards Anjali beating his favourite brown leather cane on the ground as to show its impact which Anjali perfectly remembered from her past experiences and feared "But no longer. My sons are with me now. I need to be strong. I will face him and I will win this war" vowed Anjali to herself.
They both heard the bell on the door when Nirajan shouted to the butler "Open the door Ramesh. Memsaab is very busy right now." Said Niranjan with grin on his face as he came mere steps away from Anjali when few seconds later as his cane was in air about to make contact with Anjali's arm few men in khakhi uniform rushed in and yelled "Mr. Niranjan Agnihotri you are under arrest for the murder of Mrs. Sanskriti Agnihotri and domestic violence on Mrs. Anjali Agnihotri. We have a warrant".
"Congrats little brother now finally you have everything you want that SOB behind the bars, Chairmanship and the post of CEO of this trust, a beautiful home, a Ferrari and bucket load of money to burn" said Varad with satisfaction on his face. "Well congrats to you as well big brother you have everything you want: A beautiful wife and daughter; editor's position of a national newspaper and a loving brother" said Shlok teasing Varad. "Now you also find a beautiful bride for yourself and settle down" said Varad in a serious tone. "I am already married Dada and I have a beautiful bride" said Shlok in an angry voice. "I know you are married but do you? I mean did you forget about your wife? Why are you still here and doing nothing to get her back? Did Menon track her down?" asked Varad in his usual concerned voice because he knew how much Shlok cared about Astha as he almost gave up his revenge for her. "Dada did you really think I am fool enough to let her slip through my finger after climbing too many hoops to get her. I knew exactly where she is and was from the moment she left my front door. I had put GPS tracker in her phone the last night we spent together as I knew what her reaction would be after I said those wretched hurtful things to her. I will go to get her but first I have to be worthy enough for her love and trust like before" said Shlok in a guilty voice. "I have hurt her enough so I will give her some time to get over my betrayal and let her have some TASTE OF FREEDOM. It's the least I can do"

FOUR MONTH LATER
"Hey dear wife. Missed me?" a shiver went down across Astha's spine which made the hair on the back of her neck stand as soon as she heard the voice which haunted her for the past four months day and night. "What are you doing here? What do you want?" asked Astha in an angry tone."Well what I am doing here? I am here on a personal business and as for what I want the answer is YOU. I want you Astha. I want you back in my life and back in my bed" whispered Shlok in Astha's ear nuzzling the place between her neck and shoulder in a seductive voice. To the onlookers they seemed like a normal couple PDA but for Astha it was a test not to give in the sensation of Shlok and respond to his antics like her traitous body wanted to. Reality came back to Astha as she tried to push Shlok away and said with determination "Let me go Shlok. You don't have the right to touch me. Not anymore. I am not yours and forget about me coming back to you. If you have amnesia let me remind you that I know of your evil little plan of taking away my farm which I will never give you."
"Look, I know what you think you know but listen to me I don't want your farm. I only want you" said Shlok in a calm controlled voice. "Well what kind of a fool do you think I am? Do you think I will fall for your charm and your lover boy routine again?" said Astha laughing at his audacity.
"Come back with me to Pune and I will explain everything Astha. Just give another chance" Asked Shlok in what seemed like his pleading voice grabbing Astha by waist and making her listen to him.
