Awesome! Just started reading this...and it is sooo real and a pleasure to read. Love Arnav and Khushi's characters...so down to earth and still the chemistry sizzles...
Loving it! Please update soon!

Cheers!

Wow!! I love them! I simply love them, their relationship, the understanding between them n their love for each other! They share almost a perfect relationship! I dont know y payal even said what she did to Arnav! I guess she should have looked in to her own relationship with aakash before giving gyaan to others!
You know the best thing about this couple, they talk to each other! N with talk i mean about anything n everything, from their work, worries, joys, experiences! N not because they ought to but because they love to!
I loved how arnav unhesitantly confided in her whatever was plaguing his mind without mincing words or beating about the bush! Here i am also glad that arnav proved payal's hypothesis wrong! N its good that he no longer has any doubts regarding his love for khushi n their relationship!
However that last paragraph made me a bit uncomfortable! Though its good that he loves khushi so much that she is the center of his universe but his detachment from every other thing, his lack of passion, ambition , his indifference to things is not healthy! How can a man survive without having an ambition, a dream, that yearning to achieve something, to be something! Or for that matter go on doin something without liking it or enjoying it? It all sounds so mechanical to me!
I guess he really needs to introspect and try to discover himself! Hence he should definitely go on a break!
Loved the chapter twiggy! It was wonderful!
N m extremely sorry for this late comment!

Thanks so much for your comment, Nandz! 😊

@Quote: You'd be surprised the number of people who live without that yearning. Not every one is lucky enough to know what they want in life. Most people take what life throws their way, adapt to it and find happiness. It makes them human, not mechanical.

Arnav isn't doing something he dislikes. It is a conscious choice that he made and is living with; trying to find some significance in it beyond that fact it allows him a comfortable living. If you don't love something passionately, doesn't mean you dislike it.

Thanks for your reply twiggy!
I totally agree that not many of us are lucky enough to have dreams or are ambitious enough, n as you said ppl take whatever life throws at them n try to find happiness in it! You very aptly put it!N yes i agree more often thn not people view work more as a necessity than as a dream! But still people are not as dispassionate, detached, indifferent about work or for that matter everything else as Arnav has become! Other than khushi he is not passionate about anything! N this isnt because he isnt capable of, simply because he does not want to. N my main concern was that this high level of dispassion , detachment and investing your everything in one person is not healthy! May be it is not wrong, i am sure there are many people like him, but as i said i dont find it healthy.

But i have to say after reading your reply i sat back n pondered over it n then realised most often than not this is the case! Not all are propelled by dreams, ambition , yearning and most people make take what lif throws at them n make most of it. Thanks for your reply.

If I may impose my thoughts here... I too felt that Arnav was going through motions of working here.. While he has accepted that law isnt passion for him, it is something that does interest him. The question here is if Arnav needs to find passion for his profession or his calling [so to speak].. and this question came up because Khushi seems be at the other end of this spectrum. Even though writing is her calling, she is able to summon passion and commitment for a profession that she is pursuing to appease her father. Here are two characters juxtaposed in a situation and hence comparisons are drawn - ergo Payal's confrontation with Arnav.
Yes, many are not lucky to find what they seek, some make peace with what they receive.. but the question here is - Should Arvav actively seek such a calling/passion? If he does, will he find it? If he doesnt, will he end up with frustration and resentment? Will that resentment spill over his relationships? Well some of these questions are perhaps not relevant to Arnav.. I see him as a man whose integrity with respect to his close personal relationships will help him coast any troubled water... To me, as a reader, Arnav comes across as a man who is capable of much, much more.. someone who is still waiting in the wings for his time in the limelight.. and someone who is currently battling a nebulous sense of dissatisfaction with something in his life.. Since he is in love with Khushi and is secure in that relationship, this dissatisfaction is probably an echo of another part of his life..
Perhaps?...
In the meantime, I will wait for the author to help me navigate... :)

Such a beautiful update. Loved the bonding between Arnav & Khushi. They are so much more than lovers. It's their will to communicate, understand each other and be friends that sets them apart as extra-ordinary among ordinary couples.
It's relieving that the difficulties, turbulence didn't affect them for long and they overcame it.
You are an amazing writer Twiggy 😊

Yippee. They made up and caught up with each other. Those two are so cute and adorable together.
I hope they talk about what Payal said to Arnav and whatever happened between Akash and Payal.
