At Singhania Mansion, Rey is sitting in his room thinking about the happenings in the college. Someone knocks on his door.

"Come in" says Rey.

"Rey bhaiyya, aap aise akele yahan kyun baithe ho?" asks Khushi coming in and sat next to him.

"Aaj college mein bohot kaam tha to thak gaya aur headache bhi ho raha hai" said Rey.

"Mein aapke head ko massage karti hun, fir headache bhaag jayega" she said.

Rey tried protesting but he couldn't win over Khushi. Khushi made him sit on a small stool and stood behind him. She slowly started pressing his head with her tiny palms. She applied all force that she could to massage his head. Rey felt relaxed after her massage.

"Headache bhaag gaya na?" Khushi asked.

"Thanks Sweetheart" Rey thanked her and pecked her on her cheeks.

She soon left his room and Rey was engrossed in thoughts again.

FLASHBACK

What is your favourite colour?

A 12 year old Rey was looking at the slam book question in front of him and scratching his head.

"Itna kya soch rahe ho tum?" asked Tina.

"Mera favourite colour kaunsa hai?" Rey asked her.

"Huh! Tum mujhe kyun pooch rahe ho?" she frowned.

"Mein ye baadme fill karta hoon na please" Rey tried to escape.

"Nahi! You have to fill it now!" she protested back.

"Tina please help na" Rey pleaded.

"Apni aakhen band karo" Rey did as instructed, she continued, "Abh tumhe saamne kya dikh raha hai?"

"Tum mere diye huye blue colour ke frock mein mere saath khel rahi ho" Rey replied back.

"See you got your favourite colour" she screamed.

"Kaise?" he asked confused.

"Jab hum aakhen band karte hain aur jo hume dikhta hai, voh humari favourite cheezon mein se ek hota hai" she made him understand.

Rey closed his eyes. All he could see was darkness. But slowly an image started forming. He could see a blur image of a girl. Slowly the image cleared and it was Taani. He opened his eyes with jerk.

"Taani! Iska matlab voh meri favourite hain. It means I like her?" He asked himself.

"Ofcourse you do!" said Sharon coming into his room.

"Sharon don't start again!" said Rey.

"Abhi tumne hi toh kaha that you like her" she replied.

"Sharon can you please leave me alone for sometime" he pleaded.

Sharon left and met Swayam on her way out.

"Kya hua?" Swayam asked.

"He is not ready to accept" frowned Sharon.

"Sharon, we can't force them! Aur Taani ki real feelings ko hum jaante tak nahi" said Swayam.

"Toh hum kya kare?" asked Sharon.

"Thode dino tak hum kuch nahi karenge. Inn dono ka behavior dekhte hai. And I have a really good plan but vo abhi work out nahi ho sakta" said Swayam.

"Fir kab hoga?" asked Sharon excited for the plan.

"Humari competition ke baad!" said Swayam.

"Oh shit! Competition ko toh mein bhool hi gayi!" exclaimed Sharon.

"Tomorrow 6 am rehearsals! Rey ko bata do! I'll inform Taani" said Swayam.

Taani was sitting in her room sipping coffee and thinking about the happenings of the few days.

'Life itni complicated kyun hai! Mom aur Sharon dono ko lagta hai ki mein Rey ko pasand karti hoon, but kya mein sach mein karti hoon? God please help me divert my mind to something else for a few days. Agar inn dino mein Rey ko meine miss kiya toh iska matlab I like him, aur agar aisa nahi hua toh I don't!' Taani told herself.

Her phone started ringing.

"Haan Swayam bolo kuch kaam tha?" said Taani picking up the phone.

"I don't believe this! Tum bhi bhool gayi!" exclaimed Swayam.

"Mein kya bhooli?" then she remembers about the competition, "Competition! Rehearsals! How can I forget!" she became a bit hyper.

"Taani calm down. Kal sube 6 am Rehearsal hall!" saying so he disconnected the call.

Next morning Rey, Swayam and Sharon reached early to college.

"Guys you two start your rehearsals. Uske baad mein kar loonga" said Rey.

Swayam and Sharon started rehearsing for their duet. Rey excused himself for a while and left the rehearsal hall. He was in the atrium when he heard some noise of Ghungroo. He moved in the direction of the noise and reached Girl's Locker Room where Taani was putting on her Ghungroos.

Soft wind was blowing her hair on her face making her look even more beautiful. Rey was standing behind the door and was looking at her dreamingly. She felt someone's gaze on her and looked up. He quickly hid himself so as not to be seen. She put on her Ghungroos and left for the rehearsal hall.

"Taani if you care for me you'll look behind" said Rey to himself.

Taani was walking straight ahead. Rey was standing there with a hope that she would turn. When Taani almost reached to the turning of the hall way, Rey turned back and walked off from there, and Taani turned and looked behind.

"Mujhe aisa kyun laga ki koi mere liye wait kar raha tha" Taani wondered for a while then went to the rehearsal hall.

"I knew it! Sharon kuch jyada hi sochti hai! Taani mujhe sirf ek dost maanti hai. Nothing more than that! Aur mein bhi uska atcha dost banker rahunga" he told himself.

Swayam and Sharon were done with their rehearsals when Taani and after a while Rey arrived in the rehearsal hall.

"Rey tum apne solo ki practice kar lo, humara duet ho gaya hai" said Sharon.

"Taani tum kar lo, mein after college kar lunga" said Rey.

"Are you sure Rey? Tum thode sad lag rahe ho" asked Taani.

"I'm fine Taani. Mujhe after college kuch kaam hai so I'm gonna wait back, toh tabhi practice kar lunga" he replied.

"Theek hai toh mein kar leti hoon" said Taani.

Rey smiles and says, "I'll go and change."

"Yeh aise kyun behave kar raha hai. Abhi isko theek karke aati hoon" said Sharon.

Swayam stopped her and said, "Sharon! Competition ke baad! Please!"

Taani was practicing her dance form. Sharon was helping her with some steps. Rey was watching all the happenings in the rehearsal hall from the window upstairs. He was mesmerized seeing Taani's dance. He was looking intently at her and had forgotten about the entire world. Swayam was drinking water when he saw Rey looking at Taani.

'Kya Rey Taani ko pasand karne laga hai? I need to find out before we execute any plan, as agar dono ek dusre ko pasand nahi karte honge toh inki friendship bhi spoil ho sakti hai' thought Swayam.
