Part 10
Shlok is all shocked to hear that that the creepy guy is astha's husband..
Shlok turns to astha holding her hand and asks... " astha.. do u know this guy?"
Astha is in tears and she looks at that guy and then nods her head in a yes..
Shlok is taken aback.. he is in disbelief.. " is he ur husband?" he asks again not expecting her to say yes..
Astha again nods in a yes... shlok is in disbelief and looks at that guy and the creep guy is smiling..
The guy walks forward and tries to grab astha.. but shlok holds his chest and pushes him away..
Astha says " Shlok please don't.. lets go from here".. she says and runs into the car and puts her seat belt..
Shlok runs behind her and sits in the car and in anger drives the car really fast and reaches astha's house..
Astha doesn't talk anything about her husband.. she just gets down and starts walking to the door..
Shlok gets down and goes behind astha and asks.. " astha.. is there anything u need to tell me? He is ur husband and why was he behaving like this with you?.. and why dint u mention anything to me?"
" shlok please.. this is my personal matter.. and u are my boss and I don't think u need to get into all this .. I will handle it myself" astha says firmly and goes into her house
Shlok gets angry and leaves in his car...
He goes home into his room and sits down with a drink and starts thinking..

Shlok is in his room and sitting on his sofa and is teary eyed...
He remembers each and every word that astha said a while ago.. he could see the hurt in her eyes.. a stupid plan that shlok made in his childishness had costed astha her reputation and character in question..
He remembers each and every word he said to astha.. all those hurting words like calling her an orphan to a gold digger .. and today he got what he wanted but it was hurting him and he was guilty..
suddenly shlok has a bad feeling and he rushes out to meet astha..
he runs out of the house and drives to astha's orphanage... he goes to the manager and asks
" please i need to meet astha, its urgent"
Her tai comes there and sees shlok.. she gives one slap to shlok in anger.. " what do u want from astha? is there anything left ? she has gone.. gone from here.."
shlok runs behind tai and pleads.. "please tai tell me.. where is astha? i know that i did a big mistake.. i need to meet her and apologise to her.. please tai.."
tai calms down a bit and says again.. " shlok.. astha went away.. after returning from ur house she took her bags and left.. and noone knows where she went"
shlok feels shocked as where can she suddenly go.. he goes to college to see if she is there.. he sees gauri..
" gauri.. " he approaches her.." gauri.. where is astha?? please tell me"
gauri gives a dissapointed look.. " shlok... i dont know where she went.. but
yesterday she was speaking to the office guy.. i think she has left the college and gone.."
shlok is very dissapointed..
" shlok.. astha did all this for you.. because she loved you.." gauri suddenly speaks up
shlok turns back and is teary eyed ti hear this..
" shlok.. she really loved you.. all that she wanted was ur and ur moms happiness and nothing else.. in return only for ur mothers love that she dint experience all her life.. she always wanted to tell u her feelings but she soon realised that u wont understand..".. gauri says and leaves
shlok sees her going .. he feels guilty.. he remembers all his moments with astha.. when he met her to the time he kissed her and in the end she left..

Shlok is in his room and thinking about the creepy guy who is astha's
husband.. he finds something not going right... shlok feels responsible for astha's condition..
he is very restless as he is having a drink ti calm down... suddenly he feels that something is wroing with astha.. he gets up and runs and drives to astha's house..
astha is sitting in her hall and reading a newspaper and having some tea..
suddenly a hand grabs her from the shoulder.. astha is petrified..
she turns back to see her husband again.. she gets scared and before she could realise he grabs her .. "leave me... leave me piyush.. what do u want from me? our divorce is due.. and i dont wanna see ur face" astha screams at him..
"astha.. u have done a big mistake leaving me and filing this divorce.. how did u forget my love astha?" he asks
astha manages to push him away.. " love?? what love are u talking about piyush?? the only thing u did was hurt me.. physically and mentally.. i was ur wife and married u with all my wish.. but u treated me like i had no feelings.. tortured me day after day.. i hate u piyush.. please let me live.. "
he grabs her again and pushes her down.. and tries to assault her.. astha starts screaming ..
suddenly someone grabs piyush and pushes him away.. astha in tears sees shlok standing there..
she runs and grabs shlok arms tightly..
piyush screams at shlok.."leave her whoever u are.. she is my wife and we are talking personal"
shlok clinches his fist and gives a hard blow to his face.. piyush falls on the floor.. shlok grabs his collar and says " how dare u touch astha.. how dare u give her any pain." he slaps him again..
but before he could do anything piyush pushes him and runs away and escapes.. shlok tries to run behind hin but he escapes..
astha is crying .. shlok goes to her and sits in front of her and grabs her and hugs her.. astha also hugs him back and weeps..
shlok tries to console her.. he remembers how cheerful she used to be alive and kicking all the time.. and now like this he cant see her..
he lifts her face and wipes off her tears.. " astha.. stop crying.. please tell me what has happened? u know i am there for you.. i will help u out"
astha tries to calm down but she doesnt speak up..
shlok gets ver angry.. he goes into her room and picks up a bag and packs up her clothes and everything and grabs her wrist and pulls her .. " u will not stay here anymore.. u will stay in my house.. and i dont want any arguements on this" he says sternly and takes her into the car and drives home..

he gives astha her room and places her bags there..
he starts to keave .. astha suddenly holds his hands..
"after i left from ur house.. i left to delhi as i had got a job there.. i couldnt finish my MBA.. but i had got a simple job as an executive in a construction firm in delhi.. and i dint tell anyone about it..
there i met piyush.. he was my boss.."
shlok looks in astonishment.. he makes ker sit down on the sofa and sits near her..
"piyush is a psycho.. he was always after me .. i tried ny best to avoid him and do my work peacefully.. i couldnt even quit cos i had signed a 2 year contract with them and quitting would have got me into legal hassles.. one day he asked me to marry him.. and i refused.."
shlok listens with all interest.. astha continues...
"one day i found a file on my table.. a land purchase deal.. the land where my orphanage is standing.. i was stunned to read that piyush was planning a building contruction in its place.."
"i went and confronted him about it.. he put a condition in front of me.. that either i marry him or the ophanage is going to be demolished..."
shlok is shocked to hear..
" i dint find any way shlok.. i knew that i am putting my life into a big trouble.. but the orphanage is a home to 500 kids.. what will they do.. where would they go.. there life will be spoiled.. i couldnt let that happen.. i thought that may be this marriage is my destiny.. and may be he is not as a bad guy as i think of him.. i gave it a yes to save the orphanage and the kids.."
" we got married in a small function.. piyush took me to US and we settled there.. i tried my best to keep him happy and make this marriage work.. but it was impossible with him.. things only got worse.. he was abusive .. in all ways.. he would hit me torture me at my slightest mistake.. and i was not able to do anything due to this orphanage blackmail hanging in front of me.."
shlok is angry but in tears hearing this.. astha is also crying telling him her story...
"one day i came to know that i am pregnant.. and from that day piyush suddenky changed.. he started being nice to me.. he stopped scolding me hitting me.. i was confused.. but i thought thay may be he has changed for good... but it was not so... when i was 6 months pregnant.. he got a call from his manager that one of his major projects was cancelled giving him heavy losses.. he lost his cool and took all his anger and frustration on me.. he left me in the house and went away after that.. i was in pain lying on the floor.. and i knew that my child was no more.."
shlok gets uo unable to listen any more.. " how did u come back to pune?"
" with lot of difficulty that night i managed to call for help from the cops.. they police there arrested him and managed to send me back to india.. they contacted a firm in india who inturn put a case on him and filed for a divorce.. its been a year since i returned here.."
"i just want to put back my life together again.. just wanted to get some job and have a peaceful life.. but he has come back to create troubles for e again.. what do i do shlok?"
astha sobs and asks shlok
shlok holds her hand and say "astha.. i am here.. with you.. dont be scared of anyone.. and i promise u that i will get u out of this.. "
he slowly takes her and puts her into the bed and covers her with a blanket and switches off the lights.. he wipes off her tears and leaves "good night astha.. sleep peacefully.. as long as i am with you noone can even touch you" he says holding her hand and astha gives a slight smile hearing this..
