Part 4- 25th Anniversary
Angad sat there staring at Vedika. She just walked in and went to the teachers desk. Angad kept looking at her, he couldn't move his eyes away from her.
R- Dude? Dude!!!
A- huh?
R- your drooling
A- oh..sorry
Still staring at Vedika.
R- Angad? You ok?
A- Yeah im fine
R- Well then pack, im thinking we can head to the park to play a game today?
A-…..today?
R- yeah, why not?
A- no, um..im kinda tired.
R- Oh, fine then. We'll play another day
A- yeah, thanks.
R- So, you wanna go out for lunch with me and Shazad
A- ok
R- Dude, would you start packing now
A- yeah..
R- NOW
Angad looked at Raj and went out of his trans.
A- Sorry.
Angad packed his bag, and the bell rang. Vedika was still standing at Mr.Das 's desk.
V- um…
D- oh yeah. So your Ms or Mrs.?
V-sorry?
D- Well you don't know with the generation these days, so I thought I'd make sure
V- Ms. Thank you very much
D- ok Vedika, I think you have all the papers needed?
V- yeah
D- ok, so I'll se you in class tomorrow
V- ok
D- ok then…why are you still here?
V- oh, bye
Vedika was leaving
D- Vedika?
V- yes?
D- welcome to Bayside
V (smiled)- thank you
Vedika was leaving, and she noticed Angad talking to Raj. Now, I'll be honest…She liked Angad. Angad saw her walking into a car. He went back into his trans until Raj threw a apple at him. Angad came out of his trans.
S- Dude? You ok?
A- Yeah, Im fine. Guys, I think im just gonna go home, Im kinda tired.
R- Ok, bye
S- Yeah, See ya
Angad went home and found a lady sitting on the dining table. Angad sighed, and went up to her and kissed her on her cheek.
A- Hey Bua
U- Don't you are talk to me!
A- Bua Im sorry
U- What do you mean by sorry!
A- Bua…
U- Angad, when are you going to take this seriously?
A- Being serious is a waste of time, and you know me…I hate wasting time and you never know when its going to run out.
U- Angad, for you everything is a waste of time.
A- Bua, save it.
Angad was walking away to his room, when Urvashi called him back
U- Did you eat?
A- Yes, and now Im going to do my homework
U- Ok, oh Angad
A- Yeah?
U- Im going out today, I wanted you to come with me
A- Going out with him?
U- Yeah…just to eat
A- Bua, you go…
U- Angad, please. He didn't meet you once yet, he just saw pictures of you
A- Bua, believe me…I'll see him again

U- ok, eat dinner before going to sleep ok?

NEXY DAY-
The school was getting ready for it 25th anniversary. Teachers were picking kids from each class to help organize the events. In Mr. Das's classroom…Das was at the window, smoking and thinking when Raj came and stood next to him
R- What's up?
D- nothing…I went out with my fiance yesterday
R- And..
D- I hate my life
R- Why?
D- Because, when I married Nisa, I thought I'd never have to go through the whole impressing a chick thing…but now…I wanted everything to work between me and Nisa
R- Yeah, I know you did. I remember when I was a freshman and you got married, you'd always be talking about how much you loved Ms. Nisa, and all that
D- Yeah, but now…
R_ Don't worry about it, and you told me online that Urvashi is really cool
D- no, she's great but…she's not Nisa you know
R- yeah
Das was thinking then he looked at Raj.
D- What are you doing here? I know you didn't come to discuss my love life.
R- Oh, umm
Das looked at his cigarette and rolled his eyes
R- Your so selfish
Saying that he stuck the cigarette in Raj's mouth and left. Raj looked back at Das
R- Thanks!
D- Whatever!
Raj laughed and smoked. All the kids were coming in, and Kripa and Shazad were walking to homeroom when they saw Vedika.
S- She's that new girl right?
K-Yep
S- She's desi
K- So?
S- Lets talk to her
K- Shazad, I don't have time to talk to new people…well at least not now.
S- FINE
K- Don't worry, Im sure I'll be friends with her before you
S- Thanks a lot
They were all taking there seats in class, Vedika came in a took her seat next to Meem
M- Hi, Im Meem
V- hi, Im Vedika
M- Cool
Angad came in and saw Vedika. Then he went and sat next to Kripa.
A- Kripa
K- What
A- Do you know that girl?
K- Who?
A- Vedika
K- Oh, no…
A- Well, got talk to her
K- (confused) Why?
A- Be nice, she's new. Go be friends
K- I don't want to be friends with her
A- Kripa!!
K- Oh….Angad you like her
A- No, I just don't want her to think bad of you, see Meem's talking to her
K- Angad…you like her, you want me to talk to her, so that I can introduce you too
A- Well if you know it, then why are you still here?
K- FINE, god. The things I have to do for you
A- GO!!!
Angad practically pushed Kripa to Vedika, Shazad was about to sit next to Vedika, but Kripa pushed him and sat down.
S- Hey!
K- Sorry buddy
Shazad was walking backwards and he sat on a chair and felt someone.
S- Opps!
M- What the hell is your problem!
Shazad had sat on Meem's lap
S- Sorry Meem
Shazad was about to hold Meem's shoulder and say sorry, but Meem pushed him away
M- Get away from me you freak
Meem went to a different chair. Shazad sat down. He looked at Meem
S- By the way, gain some weight, your lap is so bony!
M- Shut up!
Kripa and Vedika started talking.
K- So, are you liking Bayside?
V- Its good, but I miss my old school
K- don't worry, you'll make great friends here…hey meet me at lunch, I'll introduce you to my friends
V- ok
The Bell Rang
D- Ok kids, as you all know, or may not know the schools 25th anniversary is coming up. We'll have a walk-a-thon. And a small party at school. So, who ever wants to help out, raise your hands so I can write your names down. Oh, when a point to you, pleas say your name out loud, because, you kids really hold no importance to me, so you cant expect me to remember all your names
A lot of the kids raised their hands, along with Angad, Kripa, Vedika, Raj, Shazad and Meem.
D- I remember anniversaries…Such a important day, the day something new and beautiful starts. A new beginning. So wonderful…too bad I never remembered my anniversary…every year, Nisa and I would fight, because I just wouldn't be able to remember. Well, that's one good thing that came out of this divorce, at least I don't have to hear her nagging about how I don't remember our anniversary…come to think of it, now I don't have to hear her nagging about anything!!
R- There's another thing that came out of this divorce
D- What?
R- Entertainment for us kids!
S- Yeah, this is better then TV
D- Yes well…I am an entertaining man…at least that's what my girlfriend said last night
The Bell Rang and all the kids went to their classes, It was after school and the kids helping out with the Walk-a-thon stayed after school.
N- Ok, so we'll put three kids in a group for each task
D- I want to put four kids in a group
N- Cant you ever agree with anything I say?
D- I agreed with you about getting married…and you know how bad that turned out, so I think its better if we don't agree about anything anymore
N- We also agreed about getting divorced, that decision turned out to be good for both of us
D (serious)- you think so?
N (sad)- You tell me?
D- Anyway…fine we'll put three kids in a group.
The kids made groups of three's.
K- Vedika, you want to be in a group with me?
V- Sure
K- Great, how about we make it me, you and Meem
V- Perfect Idea
They were walking to Meem, when Angad ran in and hugged Kripa
A-Kripa, my best friend in the whole wide world, how about we be in a group
K- But, Im with Vedika and…
A-Great, I'll be with Vedika too
K- ok…
V- What about Meem
A- I think she's already with Shazad and Raj
K- Oh..ok then
Vedika was walking to their working spot, Angad was about to follow her when Kripa pulled him back.
K- What was that?
A- What?
K- Angad…Meem isn't in a group with Shazad
A- So? Who cares, she'll find someone…but see I already found someone…why do you want to separate me from my someone
K- Vedika?
A- No…my Vedu
K- Vedu?
A- Yup
Shazad jumped from behind them
S- Koi Mil Gaya, Mera Dil Gaya
Raj came to
R- What's going on
S- Kuch Kuch Hota Hai Raj…
K- Ok, Guys you too go in a group with Meem, then we can all be together kinda.
S- Meem?
R- Wait. Who found who?
A- Nothing…lets get started
R- Wait who are you in a group with
S- Its Angad, Kripa and Vodka. I mean Vedika
R- Ok, so Shazad lets find Meem
S- ok
R- And some Vodka while we're at it
They laughed and walked away.
K- Lets go Romeo
A- I love you
K- Save it!
They walked to Vedika. Kripa was about to stand next o her, but Angad came in the middle and stood between them. They were all working. Vedika, Angad and Kripa were decorating. Vedika was walking with a lot of boxes, she bumped into someone…Angad
V- Oh sorry
A- Its ok, need help?
V- yeah, please
Angad and Vedika put the boxes away in the back of the gym. While putting the boxes in place, Angad kept looking at Vedika, Vedika kept looking at Angad too.
V- Are we finished?
A- Yeah I think so…
V- Thanks for helping me
A- No problem, so you like it here?
V- Well Its ok
A- Yeah I know how it feels, Im new too
V- Really? Wow, you look like you've been here for a while
A- No, I just blended in really fast
V- That's good
A- Yeah, I think the whole trying to get used to a place is a waste of time, I think you should just get with the flow
V- Well, that's what Im trying to do
A-And the people are nice, Like Kripa and Raj
V- That's good
A- Yeah…friends make the whole going to a new school experience easier
V- That's true,
A- So, would you like to be my friend?
V- I'd Love too
A- I love you too…I mean, I'd love too, too (nervous)
Vedika laughed, and they shook hands.
V- Ok, I'll go see if there's anything else for us to do
A- ok
V- Angad?
A- Yeah
V- Can you let go of my hand now?
A- Oh sorry
Angad let go of Vedika's hand. She laughed hand walked away. Angad stood there staring at her. Mr. Das came from behind Angad and tapped him on the back.
D- You sure that's a good idea?
Angad looked at him, then looked down
A (angrily) - You know, I'd deal with you…but that's just a waste of time
D- Yeah, and your not the type of person who wastes time right, you just take away everyone else's time
Angad looked at him, and then just turned around and left…he went to where his friends were.
S- So, what happened?
A- Nothing
K- Oh, so there was no Mujse Dosti Karoge?
S- No Kripa, there was Mujse Shaadi Karoge
A- Shut up
They were laughing, and Angad looked up ahead at Vedika, she looked back and him, then she turned around and gave a small smile
