Prologue:
A young couple was in their car going to visit the boy's family.
"Sam, will your family ever accept me? I mean I don't have anything to offer you but myself. And your family looks very wealthy and influential people," the girl said in a worried tone.
Sam the girl's hand to his mouth, and bestowing a kiss on her palm, he said, "Don't worry Sakshi... There is no reason why they won't ever love you! You are an angel, anyone can fall in love with you."
Sakshi stared at the man driving the car. They had met barely a few months ago, at that time Sam was very depressed and alone, with her gentleness and friendship, she had nursed him back to life. She had gotten quite close to him during those months. But she always thought that they were friends, good friends. So she hadn't been prepared at all, when last month Sam suddenly proposed to her. She was so confused, she hadn't been able to even give him an answer at that time. However after lots of discussions with her other friends, they had made her understand that this was a very good thing in her life. She was being offered everything any girl could wish for. And besides, as one of her friends told her, she already liked Sam a lot, probably loved him also a little bit.
Staring at the loneliness in her life prior to Sam's entry, Sakshi finally decided to give it a try. For her marriage was everything, it meant the whole world to her. So she'd give her best to this relation. Hence she had finally accepted his proposal. But she hadn't been prepared when Sam decided to take her to meet his family. Everything was going a bit too quickly in her eyes, but given she also had no reason to say no or delay anything, she found herself today in a car with Sam.
She was a bit worried, no matter what Sam said, she knew that Sam's family wouldn't accept her as a daughter-in-law. She was an orphan, not even knowing who her parents were, while Sam was a rich man. Suddenly she realized that Sam hadn't even told her how many people were in his family. Did he have any brother? Any sister? Aunts? Uncles? She realized despite having known Sam for months now, she still didn't know anything about his family.
Elsewhere
"I heard he's bringing a girl in this family?" a young man said.
"Yes, he has finally decided to marry," an elderly woman added.
"But mom, does he even know what he's doing? Is he even ready for such a relation?! It's only been one year since..." he retorted back.
"He'd have to move on anyway one day nah? So why not now? If he's bringing this new girl to meet us, then surely he knows what he's doing nah?!" his mother said.
"Love doesn't die so quickly, and I doubt he even forgot that girl yet!" he said and went away.
