I'm just putting down my first reactions to the update and it may well be that I'll think differently when I read it again. But I found this chapter rather disturbing, Anon.
There is Khushi being all upfront and trying to convince him in ways that would convince HER, While she has total empathy with him, she has practically no expreience of the extent and depth of his distrust. She is so vulnerable despite her strength. How much does she really know him?
Arnav , on the other, hand, has just about pulled himself from the brink of walking out of marrying her only because of a nascent realisation that he can't do without her, but with little understanding why he can't do without her. He has allowed himself to believe her, but does he really believe her?? This is rather worrying, How much does he really know her?
Why do I feel all this will come back again and again in their relationship unless they have a proper conversation where Arnav LISTENS to her, where she can TELL him about her crush without the threat of things falling apart. Well, they have promised each other till death do part, but have they thought about the hell their lives will be till death does them part if they don't sort out this trust issue.
How long will it be before he threatens to pull out of the marriage or she withdraws into herself to protect herself from hurt?
Really felt awful for Khushi when he threatened to call the marriage off.
They need to talk and talk properly.
