Another beautiful, but heart-wrenching update Sandhya Di!
"Weak sunrays fought their way through the gaps in the drawn curtains. Other than those hazy streaks of light, the room remained shrouded in darkness." An apt description to reveal Khushi's state of mind. A mind, hazy and unsure, a heart filled with guilt and covered in darkness, fighting the feelings of her very first crush, Khushi is broken. Everything began and ended in the same evening. What irony!
Khushi is evading Anya yet again! Can a day turn out worse than it was already?
And Shadow is back again! But this time to bid Khushi goodbye. I adored that scene so much. It is true that animals are able to feel what humans are not. A puppy is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself!
"Big puddles of water, slushy soil and broken branches. The sky was a depressing gray." Another perfect description to highlight the turmoil brimming in Arnav's mind. I sometimes wonder what a person he would've been if anger and ignorance hadn't been his terrible companions. But then again, every man is flawed.
I am glad Khushi is taking along with her bundles of love and good wishes from a bunch full of jolly and affectionate people, and not just a broken heart.
That little line you dropped in about the disparity in railways highlighting the hypocrisy in almost every sphere of life was indeed a brilliant stroke there.
Akash is over the tinge of crush he had for Khushi, and boy am I glad! Though he would've been an awesome man, I believe he's reserved for PalPal, isn't he?
Cadbury dairy milk bar?! I hope it hints to the beautiful beginning of a new phase of life for both Arnav and Khushi, though it halted on a bitter note. I loved that finger-finger serving as the only fibre of thread that bound them to each other. It reminded me of the film "Khushi" for some reason! I am glad Arnav realized what he did, but it is sure to take sometime to mend the broken pieces. And all we are left is with hope - hope that they will meet again. Oh yes! They will meet again!
Sadness flies away with the wings of time. The sun is new each day! I hope this holds true for Khushi and Arnav as well.
"It is our wounds that create in us a desire to reach for miracles. The fulfillment of such miracles depends on whether we let our wounds pull us down or lift us up towards our dreams."
Happy Diwali Di! I hope this Diwali spells happiness and prosperity for you and your family and brings about better opportunities and tremendous joy your way! 🤗
