Rishab attending the wedding depends on how much he is hurt by Khushi's rejection. He went away the last time when he felt something for her, so I think it more probable that he does the same, seeing as how now he knows his sentiments aren't returned.

Arnav being OK with Rishab attending his wedding depends on a lot of things. If Arnav is insecure about Khushi saying yes and has even an inkling that Rishab can be a threat he wouldn't want Rishab at his wedding. But then again he could derive egotistic pleasure out of marrying Khushi in front of Rishab.

I think Sumer, buaji and Lavanya would believe any excuse Khushi and Rishab would give for his absence.

Oh ! Well khushi has surely things sorted out in her mind, because she did really gave Rishabh a piece of her mind. She spoke like a lawyer and that too standing in the highest court of law n justice..the Temple !
I knew Arnav would become angry on seeing Khushi talking to Rishabh. But not this angry that he became a wounded lion !
Arnav shattered by the situation he was in ! He didnt like His Khushi to go away from him. The wall which he had built had melted a bit and now was building up again. His room showed the state of his mind. ARNAV CRIED!?!?!?!?!?

The Best Part... With eyes still puffy and red rimmed, Arnav goes to his Dad's room in the morning, only to hear his Dad telling him that marriage is not a game, that Khushi and he did not want an engagement !!... but to get married on khushi's birthday !... Arnav's expression on hearing this would be worth a million bucks to see !
Rishabh could see that he stood no chance infront of Arnav where Khushi was concerned coz the person he loved, Khushi, stood up like a wall between them , only defending Arnav.
There are lots of small minute things i can comment upon. But that would only make this comment look like an OS...lol...

Thanks for the note. No matter how much you grow up age wise it's difficult to get rid of certain things which have had a huge impact on your life which wasn't your choice at all. So Arnav's perspective about trust when it comes to relationships is fair enough. Meanwhile Rishab acted impulsively cauz he only saw loosing his love nothing beyond that. So over all nobody is at fault. I would say Khushi is the one who is thrown in to a huge cob web, but after much thinking she made her decision as well. You have done a fabulous job in presenting your characters the way you want, and us readers to see what your intending to depict😊 waiting for the next update!

well that was a very interesting update!

im so happy that arnav did not explode in front of rishabh. for sure he was burning from inside, i felt bad that he had the feeling that almost everything was lost and he was once again betrayed by the persons whom he was able to trust after such a long time. i cant blame arnav for being like this, he has gone through some very bad life crisis and he has so many bad memories that will last him a lifetime. but i cant understand how after knowing khushi is and how selfless she is, he thought that she will be backing down from her words. at least this much trust he must may had on her, for god sake he is going to be bonded to her for life.

as for khushi, my appreciation and respect for this special girl has just increased immensely after reading this specific chapter. love her personality, her character and her sense of responsibilities towards the people who mean the world to her, her family! its superb to see how she has evolved from the start of this ff, i mean from the night her wedding was broken with that shyam up to now where she has the power and the ability to think for herself and take the decisions that she knows for sure she wont be regretting afterwards. im so proud of her decision and its well said that the night really brings the out of people. n her explanation to rishabh y she will not be marrying were very clear and showing that she took these decisions after thinking about it.

as for rishabh, i do agree this guy and his ways were really hitting me on the nerves but after reading ur note i guess i was being a little too mean, u r right he is young and his thoughts are not focusing only one thing. i just hope he will accept khushi's decision and will abide by her wish of he wants his friend in his life

OMG well like arnav im super surprised but nevertheless its a welcoming one. wondering how arnav will react to it, n whether will he ask forgiveness from khushi for his rude behavior the night before

n anamika u truly rocked. every one of ur updates are just superb, with an eye for every little details!

wouldn't it be amazingly amazing if Khushi being Khushi who stood her ground to his anger, to his total antipathy to this arrangement of Khushi sharing his father's love, attention, his house.
who stood straight up to his indifference towards her...

she who made him bend his ways with sheer power of will and with patience.

makes him see the point in marriage prepone thing. yes, she will have to answer her behavior but i do not want her to explain herself.( she doesn't need to explain herself to anyone...not Rishabh...not Arnav...she has to be her own person...to be grown up..) and make him say and feel sorry for disowning her.

maybe he is entitled to be angry after that episode, and Rishabh's blatant admittance of his love in front of her fiance, and all the history...and all ...yes, he is entitled to feel dejected and all...but for the sake of their relation...he was suppose to stand with Khushi there...and then they can sort , what ever he wanted with Khushi...he any ways was ready to use is ACE CARD to marry her...

may be this standing up for herself will be the first step in their relation where there is equality...she will understand this and so will Arnav...she has to move forward in this as equal and Arnav has to accept her as equal to move forward...

love or no love...respect for the partner is the basis of strong relation...and that needs to be established now...

Equality in relationship does not mean upmanship or feminism. If you are wrong, you are wrong. And then you not only apologize to your partner but try to make amends as well.

If every couple in the world, not only this Arnav-Khushi, would be so understanding mature to think right , act right, feel right, speak right and that too at the right moment, I feel there will be no divorces and family courts will shut shops.

Our distinctive flaws and shortcomings is what makes us human. Our ability to accept our follies makes us a better person :)
