Chapter 3

Arnav was kneading each and every curve of Khushi's body and Khushi was moaning with each and every touch, Arnav was all over Khushi while Khushi roamed her hand over his body travelling from his shoulder to his back and to his abdomen feeling the wound which has now become scars. Khushi was all awe and day dreaming about Arnav when one of her colleagues remarked, "Mr. Raizada is quite a piece"

"Huh" Khushi came out of her trance. All the girls were looking at Arnav who was busy assembling the design for his new project, the glass which was separating the conference room and their place of gossip was giving them a clear view of what Arnav was doing, Arnav who was not wearing his coat and waist coat has folded the cuff of his shirt revealing his forearm and in that white shirt which was hugging his body architecture most perfectly, definitely the girls were drooling over him. One of the girl said, "I so wished I could get my hands inside his pants"

"What!" Khushi looked at the girl.

"He is so desirable, I hope I could run my fingers through his body" other girl said.

"Shut up you both" Khushi could not take all of their remarks as it lead her to think the unexplainable act she has done with Arnav. Her thought was broken by the third girl, "Oh Khushi you are the only girl near to ASR don't tell me you do not have such fantasy about him?" She looked at Arnav who at the perfect time looked at Khushi and smiled, she replied "NO! I don't have such fantasy".

Later in the evening when Khushi was draining the boiled noodles to make "Pasta" Arnav's favorite, Arnav came behind Khushi and hugged her from back, nibbling and leaving soft kisses under her ears and then he slowly removed Khushi's hair to side and started kissing the exposed area created by the top whose sleeve was hanging in her one arm. Khushi tried pushing Arnav as she was busy making dinner but he was in no mood to spare her, the sauce was still cooking when Arnav lifted Khushi and moved to the bedroom to make love. After a passionate session they laid beside each other panting, Khushi started thinking how everything has changed so fast, three weeks ago when Arnav came to her flat in the evening the day after he was shot, she had never thought after sharing the dinner they would be sharing a kiss although she wanted to take everything slow but they ended up doing it earlier than she planned, and now she was heavily panting under this man's breath who thought to have another round of passionate encounter with her. While breathing heavily an unpleasant aroma filled her, she snapped opened her eyes pushed Arnav and covering herself with a duvet rushed to the kitchen to find her sauce all burnt. Arnav came running after Khushi , "Khushi, what?" Khushi made a face and lifted the sauce pan showing it to Arnav "It's burnt". Arnav laughed at her innocence, "It's ok Khushi today we will order dinner from outside." Then he lifted her and went towards the bedroom.

Arnav was working in his office, when his intercom beeped.

"Yes, Khushi"

"Someone is here to talk to you, he does not have any appointment but he has the badge of ACP"

Arnav was startled at first then he told Khushi to send him in.

The ACP entered Arnav's cabin , Khushi asked if they needed anything but ACP declined. After Khushi left Arnav's cabin ACP started.

"Mr. Raizada do you have any idea about Mr. Jha"

"Yeah, he has gone to UK to settle our deal there, Why?"

"He has not reached UK don't you have knowledge about this"

"No, no one has informed me about this"

"Actually his wife has filed a complaint; he being out of reach for more than 48 hrs and our initial investigation showed he never boarded the flight to UK, since he is your partner we thought to come here"

"Sorry ACP I have no news of Shyam but if I get any I will make sure to inform you"

ACP leaves from Arnav's office then he calls Khushi.

"Khushi, cancel all my appointment for today"

"Ok" Khushi replies confusedly.

Arnav comes out of his office wearing his coat to leave. Khushi stands up, he looks at her and comes near to her,

"I am going somewhere" Khushi tried to leave her desk, "No, you don't have to come with me, you can leave early, I will meet you at home" Khushi just noded but she was very worried about ACP visit and Arnav's suddenly leaving the office. She sensed it something was terribly wrong.

while Arnav was leaving the office he called someone and demanded to meet her immediately. He took the keys from his driver and drove himself to an excluded outskirt of Delhi. He thought to himself if he had something in time then he would have made difference, it is all his fault.

3 weeks ago

After Lavanya left his office Arnav too left the office, he gave his driver an early leave so he drove his car to "The Leela", it was 5 star hotel hosting all the riches, he talked to a receptionist. He was then lead inside a private elevator leading to a private sector, when he step outside the elevator he was greeted by two heavily armed personnel who check Arnav from top to bottom before taking him to their boss.

"hello Arnav, sorry to trouble you, I have to do all this for my safety" Happy Singh greeted Arnav cheerfully. Happy Singh was a most wanted criminal in India, he operated many underworld companies dealing with supari killing, robbery and arms supply. Rather a fat man all covered in gold wearing a burgundy kurta pajama he squatted in the baithak of his private sector, chewing supari and making pan for himself, he asks Arnav to sit and offers pan which Arnav refuses. Arnav asks Happy if he got any order for sniper to kill Arnav. Happy tries to look indifferent and flatly declines the accusation. Arnav warns him if it is proven otherwise it won't be good for his health, just then Happy cut his flesh with the tong he was using to cut supari.

Arnav then drove towards the slum of Delhi, he was inquiring about some Hamid, one person shows him Hamid's house, Arnav knocks at his door, Hamd lazily opens the door and on seeing Arnav his eyes pops out, he pushes Arnav and runs from there. Arnav dusts himself then runs after Hamid, the slum was like a spider web, small gallis and the gallis were crowded with kids who just returned from school, and daily wages people returning from their work. Well Hamid knew the slum more better so he ran more swiftly but when he was happy that he left Arnav far behind, Arnav comes infront him, he again tries to run but Arnav first kick his leg which sprains it, he kneels on the floor and starts begging to spare his life. Arnav makes a deal with him if he tells him who order his kill then he would let him go. Hamid tells him that Shyam ordered his kill and sniper was Happy's men. Arnav helps Hamid stand up gives him some money for medication of his sprained leg. Hamid was a know all person although he had his doubt but Hamid confirmed it for him.

Happy is in phone with someone and telling about Arnav threat just then the elevator chimes he looks back and his guards goes to greet the person both the guard falls down witha bullet wound to the head, dressed in black jacket Arnav come charging towards Happy, Happy's guards starts firing but Arnav takes all them down singlehandedly and by the time Arnav has pointed his gun towards Happy temple, Happy was alone in the room. Arnav ask him to give him one reason to spare his life. Happy starts trembling and by then he was already in his knees. Happy tells him that he knows about Aman's where about. Arnav pulls his gun and starts listening.

He was hell tired after what happened all day, he solved his mystery, he had keep Happy alive in order know about Aman and he can't do anything to Shyam until he knows his motive and the depth of his involvement. His thoughts went to Khushi, he did not want to go to his empty home so he diverted his car towards Khuhsi's home.

Khushi was cooking dinner so she asked him to stay, after dinner Khushi made coffee for Arnav, they were sitting in the couch talking they both did not notice when their eyes met and they both were silent next thing was Arnav was nearing her, she made no attempt to look away only waited with baited breath, Arnav cupped her face and took her luscious lips into a kiss. He left Khushi to see her eyes closed and cheeks red with blushing, he stared at her for a while then Khushi opened her eyes to look at Arnav's eye, something conveyed between them that time Khushi came near and planted a kiss on Arnav's lips. They kissed each other for a while until they were out of breath. They drifted apart to breath, Arnav takes her face in his hand to kiss on her forehead and puts her head on his chest and hugs her.

"Is it too early?"

"No" Khushi silently spoke.

They did not do anything that day but Arnav did not want to go his home so he crashed in Khushi's couch. But Khushi as a perfect hostess did offer her bed.

Next morning Arnav woke up with a beep in his mobile, he looked here and there for Khushi and found her still asleep. It was Lavanya's message on the phone, he went to Khushi's bedroom, she kept her door open so he went towards her bed and sat near her, he looked at Khushi's face which looked ethereal in morning sunlight. He took a sticky note from the side table and started writing note for her.

Khushi wakes up and finds Arnav gone, a little disppointed at heart sees the note which lights up her mood, she tosses her duvet and picks the note from the table at the foot of the bed. It reads,

"Sorry, urgent work so needed to leave" Khushi smiled inwardly.

Arnav reached some secluded outskirt to Delhi, Lavanya was already there working on computer with 3 monitors controlled by one keyboard.

"Lavanya, what happen"

"According to Happy.." Happy was tied in a chair blindfolded "Aman was brought to India but I checked all the flight details he was in not in any of the flight, so possibility is his name was changed so I hacked to airport security footage and see what I found" looking at a security footage which showed Aman with some group of people, Arnav asked Lavanya to zoom the picture as he wanted to see the lady on the right to Aman, to his horror his doubt were confirmed looking at the Lady's face.
