P.S.-it may sound naive bt i luvd d fact that this kr series began with sharon's name in d very first update...

Hola people. I'm back with an update. Now that my exams have completed, I'll be updating like earlier, once in two days. Here's the next installment.

Part 18:

While they were returning back to their home, Kaira spoke "Daddy i know what's your surprise."

"What is it honey?"

"kaira we've decided that we'll let that be a surprsie. I hope you remember." Preeti prevented her from speaking further. Suddenly Preeti recieved a call from one of the servants of the house.

"Yes Raghu, tell."

On hearing the servant from the other end, Preeti almost got a shock.

"What? She's back from the temple so soon?" Preeti exclaimed. Hurriedly she cut the call.

"Mom what's wrong?" Rey asked. Ignoring him Preeti questioned.

"Driver, is there any garment store nearby?"

"I'm sorry ma'am but we've crossed all the stores, and are just about to reach the mansion."

"Oh gosh, now only Lord can save you Kriya." Preeti exclaimed.

"Mom will you tell what's the matter?" Rey almost yelled irately whilst Kaira giggled.

"Yeah mom, any problem?" Kriya asked

"You will get know in a span of few seconds." This was all Preeti replied as they reached the mansion.

Sighing in confusion, Rey and Kriya along with the Preeti and Kaira got down. As they stepped inside, they heard a bold female voice welcoming them.

"Bua dadi!" Rey exclaimed happily.

"Rey beta..." Rey hugged the lady.

She was Sushmita Rai, sister of Rey's grand father. She's an extremely orthrodox woman who firmly believes in all the conservative traditions, superstitions etc. She's a loquacious and loud woman and never contempaltes before insulting anyone. The words that escape her mouth stike as hard as an arrow.

Her husband passed away due to some health problem and since then she goes on piligrimage for few months and few months she spends at Singhaniya mansion. She has no child of her and that's the reason she's extremely attached to Rey. Even Rey treats her equal to his mom. After Rey someone whom she cares for was Payal, as she was her bestfriend's grand daughter.

Since she misssed out Rey and Kriya's wedding she came here to meet Kriya.

"Daadi bua kaise ho aap?"

"Hum theek hai beta. Aap kaise hai?"

"Aap aagayi hai toh mein toh aur bhi acha ho gaya hu."

"Kahan hai aapki patni?"

"Oh, here she. Kriya meet dadi bua and dadi bua this is Kriya." Rey introduced them.

"Namaste dadi bau." Kriya bent down to take her blessing but she stepped back. On seeing Kriya Sushmita stared at her with a flared nose. Kriya was confused.

It then stuck Rey that Kriya's attire was the root cause of this reaction from dadi bua. She was clad in a knee length frock. He looked at his mom who inturn gave him a helpless expression. Both of them knew that the volcano will errupt in a moment or two.

"Yeh kya libaz(dress) pehna hai aapne? Aap iss ghar ki bahu hai aur yeh sab karte huye aapko sharam nahi aati? Yeh aapka sasural hai. Yahan ke kuch kaiyde-kaanun (rulesulations) hai. Aapko unhe samjhna chahiye. Aise kapde sirf charitaheen (characterless) ladkiya pehnti hai. " and she continued with her ramble.

Poor Kriya stood there helplessly looking down controlling her temper. No one ever commented on her dressing sense. She was shocked when this lady almost termed her characterless. Her temper rose to great extent but she tried surpressing it as she was elder to her. Kriya wasn't the type of girl who would never tolerate anyone's nonsence.

Rey realized that it was getting out od control and before that old lady could say a word more, Rey stepped in.

"Dadi bua meine hi Kriya se kaha tha yeh dress pehne ko. Isme Kriya ki galati nahi hai."

"Aapne kayi baar Payal ko bhi bola tha lekin unhone toh kabhi nahi pehne aise kapde." The old woman indirectly compared Kriya and Payal.

Kriya was astound when she indirectly compared her with Payal. This was surely the unpleasant surprise.

"Sorry dadi bua." Saying this Kriya walked off to her room. Preeti quitely followed her whilst Rey tried to lighten Sushmita's mood.

Awesome update like always

So,, 'Bua Daadi' is that much-talked Surprise!! 😆

Her bonding with Rey is really nice but she'll definitely give Kria a real hard time!

hopefully Kria will eventually match up with her expectations!

i just hope dadi bua is testing kria...if she really is dis strict, then a lot of trouble is going to come...but as usual update was fantastic..nd m glad ab jaldi jaldi update milegi
