Ok so my favourite Hallelujah is by Jeff Buckley..cause M lau da depressing music. Hallelujah always reminds me of something ending..and maybe because OC was the first ever tv show I watched and its etched in my bloody brain (MARISSA Y U DIE?!).
I also agree about your version of the Hallelujah. The happiness of something you want finally happening!
Will it be about Kay finally finally talking to her dad mending that relationship?
Or every kinda sorta having their life sorted, all the problems solved..may it be A or Kay or Vee or NK or Payal or Aman or Akash? I am looking forward to the last 3. (I HATE U FOR ENDING IT, though).

I love just how casually we always tend to find out about all the things your characters get upto..like Payal volunteering at a slum school.
I also love how amanji knows exactly how to get Payal out of her awkwardness. He kind of reminds me of EIT wala Aman, proactive!!!
I loved the conventional date, with the unconventional un-over-the-top conversation. S, this is pretty much why I love your writing so much. Also I cant stress how much I LOVE Payal's character here. She is to me the most relatable of them all, and maybe I just know many more Payals than Lavanayas (literally!). I am glad that Aman is bringing out another aspect of her out. I almost feel like TSC has been a growing up story of Payalji.

I hate kheer. So I guess I have nothing to add to this conversation.
Except how long can a parent also maintain the cold war?! And from what we know Shashi Gupta isn't like the dadisa from Expel's tale. He lets khushi go to nye parties, where she may or may not just make out with the football captain. He lets her drive over to the said captains house, with or without fully knowing where she is. So I am glad Kay took the first step, and almost relieved that Papa Gupta reciprocated. Baby steps.
ps. loved the dramatics..! I can see slowly Gupta's are trying to match up the Raizada's in that department!

Ah so Payal did manage to find out as much as she could. And thank you for again reading my mind, and establishing that Kay just needs to communicate more..men and fathers often have the most questionable communication skills!
I am just ROFL at Dengue! Seriously since Ranveer Singh got dengue, M tink every NRI who is going to visit india at the end of the year is PANIK! Aint Luna got time for that, been there dun many more diseases!
I like that Payal no longer has to think twice before communicating with Aman!
And Aman, it is solely upto you to get Payalji rid of the so called "sainthood" status, just like its upto Raizada to deal with the Kumari tag!!!

Arnav beta tumhari toh lagg gayi. Goodluck. It sounds super hard. And I am pretty much on the same page as Arnav about this. Also I suddenly understand Sakshi a bit better now. Behind all the happiness, fun and care...there must be quite a fear, a constant worry..more than just normal motherly one. Its actually pretty strong of her to not always second guess and over-protect them all!
Also also VEE AND NK, are the leading the way in this "tale of firsts". But u omit all the details, and dan Ramanchi dun!

Its nice to hear from gupta after last chapter, especially cause I was scared she might disappear for a bit..I know I know last chapter effectively put an end to her running away personality, but still. And that things will go back to more than normal now, although the fact that after A, only B and C will come, and not the rest of the alphabet is making me...i cant see the screen anymore!
Also S just wanted to say: "And someday I will tell you what exactly I am thanking you for"
ROFL love Kay's reaction to his mum knowing, and A's complete nonchalance about it! I am so so excited for Kay to meet Sakshi..cause I have no idea how that will turn out. Sakshi is all cool parent crazy, and Kay is crazy in her own alice in wonderland way..you know?
HAHAHA I love how A goes from teasing Kay to "yes ma, no ma"!
Also I have to agree with "Ma", chheee at calling her Gupta, and not by her beautiful Happiness wala naam. I mean Gupta reminds me of an old business man in UP, and also there are like a million of them around. Although when he doth say "khushi..." it makes it more special, and reminds me of the gutter. Ok self-argumentation and pointless thought process all written down on the internet in a comment dun 👏 MOVING ON.
I love that voices drop an octane, and phones are clutched harder, in the midst of all humour.
Also is it just me or Raizada seriously thinks Ma is defs going to see Kay, with or without him. And he seems genuinely freaked out!! (I am rooting for them to meet as well!)
