firstly i would like to wish you all readers a very happy diwali 😊.. its very emotional for me as this is the last part of this FF.. its been a part of my thinking more than a month.. anyways guys, enjoy the last part and do let me know how ur journey with the ff has been.. and i promise to be back with my new story of ashlok very soon..

Astha is unable to sleep that night and she keeps thinking of shlok and whatever happened the previous day...

Gauri sees astha sitting in the balcony and comes to talk to her seeing her disturbed..

"whats the matter astha?" why are u here at this time? Tomorrow is ur wedding and u should be sleeping now and not here..

" I have to tell u something gauri..." astha holds gauri's hands and tells her whatever has been happening in the last couple of days.. the fact that shlok saved karan only for her.. not only that also about the trust that he has opened in her fathers name.. and then her mother which ofcourse gauri was a witness too..

" astha... are u regretting ur decision to marry karan?" gauri asks sternly

" gauri.. the problem is that karan doesn't even know about shlok and my past and I tried telling him on certain occasions but he did not give me a chance.. i feel that I am cheating him .. I cant start a new relation with karan based on a lie and based on deceit.. karan has done a lot for me and I don't want to cheat him gauri.."

" Astha do u want this marriage or not???" gauri softly puts across this question to astha

Astha looks at gauri in disbelief and remains quiet and thinking

" astha.. I don't want u to answer me this question.. but answer this for yourself.. what was the reason for u to agree for this marriage?? And do u really wanna do this??"

" whatever ur answer is astha.. it will be the future of 3 peoples lives.. and the person u will affect the most is karan... if u decide to marry then stop thinking so much.. go sleep and give ur 100 percent heart and presence tomo and accept karan in ur life.. or else go tell him that u don't wanna marry him and spare all the hurt that u will give him all his life.. but any decision hanging in between these two will have a bad future.."

" its upto u astha.." gauri gives a strict advice and leaves

The next day... Astha is getting dressed as a bride. She is wearing a beautiful red pink lehanga and heavy jewellery and looking mesmerisingly beautiful... diya and gauri are dressing her up and gauri gives astha a stare as to warning her of what she has decided..

Astha keeps thinking..diya. gauri and the beautician finish all the necessary dressing up and leave..

Astha remembers shlok's words and decides to talk to him..

Just then shlok knocks at her door.. Astha is stunned to see him there..

" u look so beautiful astha..." shlok speaks up.. " look am sorry for whatever I told the other day to you.. it was not meant to hurt you.. I just came to tell you that I am leaving.. I am sorry but I cannot see u getting married to someone else.."

He comes close to astha.. slowly holds her shlouder with his one hand and kisses her forehead... " have a good life astha.. if ever in ur life u are in trouble or ever need me I will always be there for you.. just one call and I will be with you.." shlok is teary eyed and so is astha..

Shlok starts to walk away.. suddenly astha speaks up

" shlok..." astha slowly takes his name

Shlok stops

" Shlok.. I forgive you.."

He turns back and sees astha...

" I forgive you shlok.. I know that u have hurt me a lot but I also know that u have done enough to make up for it.. and today if u went away and I dint forgive you then neither u nor I will ever be peaceful and be happy and start a life afresh.." " I just wanna close this chapter of life today and start a new one and make sure that the past will never hover over it.."

Shlok smiles with tears in his eyes.. " bye astha... take care.."

"take care shlok" astha says with a smile and teary eyed..

Shlok leaves...

Astha sits down on the couch and smiles and feels relieved of everything.. suddenly she gets a feeling of everything changed around her.. as though she has put a away a heavy burden from her heary away..

Karan in his room has got ready too.. with a golden sherwani and pagadi etc... but he keeps thinking something.. everyone leaves from the room and he sits down on his couch thinking something very seriously..

Diya enters the room and tells him that he will need to come down in a while for the wedding to start..

Shlok leaves the house without informing anyone about it..

Astha is sitting in her room and keeps thinking about shlok and what all he had told her..

Then she remembers what gauri had told her.. " whatever ur answer is astha.. it will be the future of 3 peoples lives.."

Astha feels tensed.. suddenly one small girl enters her room

" hi didi u look so beautiful.. can I watch cartoon on ur tv?" the little girl says with a smile

Astha smiles back although she is upset and nods her head..

Astha goes to the idol of bappa in her room and folds her hand and closes her eyes to pray.. " Bappa.. all my life u have showed me what to do.. today again I need ur help.. please tell me what decision to take.. please show me a way bappa.."

The little girl puts on the tv and starts fidgeting with the remote... suddenly she puts a news channel and they are showing some live images

" a bomb blast in delhi highway today has caused havoc.. maore than 25 people have died in the blast and many injured.."

The little girl asks astha to put the channel and gives the remote to her..

Astha takes the remote and sits in front of the tv and abiut to change the channel and she sees the news of the blast and when the camera in taking the video images she sees shloks car in the wreck in the video...

She doesn't belive her eyes.. she goes closer to the tv as the news and the video is being played again and again.. and she sees that its indeed shloks car in the bombblast.

Astha reaches the blast site and runs every where looking for shlok.. the site is closed by police and they are not allowing anyone.. there is havoc there and there are so many dead and injured people.. and then there is ambulance and people weeping and running everywhere..

Astha is in her bridal dress.. she comes near a boundry rope put by the police.. she is crying and searcing for shlok .. screaming " shlok .. shlok.."

She tries to cross the police baraccade.. the cops stop her " madam.. u cannot go there.. it's a major blast"

Astha is crying and pleads the cops " please sir.. please let me go.. I need to find someone.."

The cops ask her to leave strictly.. " madam many people have died here.. if u wanna search then go to lifeline hospital to find out'

Astha gulps in fear when the cop mentions about dead people.. " no shlok.. u cant die..." she whines..

As astha starts walking back in tears she turns around .. and she sees Shlok standing there.. he is injured a bit and he stands seeing astha and sobs..

Astha folds her hands and thanks god.. and then runs to shlok and hugs him real tight.. Shlok too clasps her with both his hands and both embrace the moment.. its like as though astha has returned to him and time froze on them..

Suddenly shlok realized and released her from his arms.." astha... what are u doing here? How did u come here? Ur wedding?"

Suddenly a voice from the back says I brought her here.."

Shlok turns back and shocked to see karan standing there.. he is confused as to what is happening

" ur wedding??"

" nope its not happening.." karan winks his eyes and smiles at shlok..

Shlok looks at astha and astha nods her head saying that karan is right

" I don't get it karan.. whats happening.." shlok is puzzled

Karan ready in his room and diya asks him to come down to the altar..

He comes down and sits at the mandap... the pundit asks to get the bride as the muhurat time is getting over..

Astha is still in her room and weeping as she saw the news on the tv..

Suddenly a hand held her shoulder.. she turns back to see karan ..

its time astha.. lets go.. u are late.." karan says and holds astha's arm and makes her get up..

Karan starts walking out of the room..

" i cannot marry karan... I cant do this.." astha speaks up

Karan turns back and sees astha.. " shlok.." astha says

" he is the guy I was married to earlier.. shlok is the guy I always loved.. loved him from the day I ever realized what love is.. I know he did a lot of wrong things.. he hurt me and even spoiled my life .. but then I am unable to get over him.. its like something is stuck between us.."

" I tried a lot karan.. but u are my best friend and u have helped me a kot in my life.. but I was not able to fall in love with you karan.. and if today I married you , then I am cheating you and ruining ur chances of finding true love.. I don't know what I am going to do in my life after all this but.. I cant spoil ur life with this marriage.. I am sorry"

Astha sits down on her knees sobbing

Karan looks at her and then grabs her hand and takes her out.. astha is astonished as to what is karan trying to do..

Shlok looks at karan in hesitance.. " but karan..."

Karan interrupts " actually the thing is shlok and astha... I knew everything from before..."

They both look confused..

The day shlok was stabbed.. astha that night went to see shlok in the hospital.. karan came to astha's room and saw her going from the window.. when he turned back he saw shloks letter on the table.. karan read everything in that.. then he found out everything from some of his people..

actually I knew everything from before shlok.. I knew astha that still had feelings for shlok in ur heart... just that ur anger was masking it all the while.. its just that I want u to accept it yourself.. and I just waited.. if uhad not spoken up today and married me then trust me astha I would never have asked u about it and would have accepted this marriage whole heartedly.."

but u know the right thing would be.. that two people who love each other should be together..." karan smiles and hugs both of them..

" now lets go.. we are getting late" karan says

" getting late??" astha asks

" yes dear.. the wedding is waiting.. all the guests are waiting at the altar.. I have spent a lot of money for the wedding.. so this marriage is still on dear.. just that the groom has changed" karan says with a smile..

They all have a hearty laugh

Shlok , karan and astha reach the wedding altar and are welcomed by everyone

Karan puts the pagadi to shlok and takes both of them to the mantap

" pandit ji please start the wedding" karan says

The pandit reads the verses and astha and shlok get married.. taking the pheras and then the pandit asks shlok to take the mangalsutra and put it in astha's neck... shlok takes out astha's old mangalsutra from his pocket..

Astha looks astonished...

Shlok ties the mangalsutra to astha says " I LOVE YOU ASTHA"... astha says back " I LOVE YOU TOO SHLOK"
