just caught up with the last few chapters

wow what a revelation

so Agam is Arnav's half brother whom is elder to him
and he wants revenge because Arnav's father never acknowledged him

thats crappy, because Arnav is not at fault it was his dad

now he saves Arnav's life by giving him blood

Part 11

Sometimes we are unsure of our needs. We know that we want something but, what?! Sometimes we feel some restlessness, some uneasiness, a constant motion somewhere inside us, but again the same question, why? Sometimes we return home, happy that we have achieved what we have set for the day, but once home, again the edginess settles inside us. Sometimes we think that everything is under our curb but the very next second we feel like, not even the mere emotions are under our control. We fight with ourself, we try every possible thing to get away from situations like this but, everytime we fight, we realize that it is already a lost battle. We try every possible way to run away from such situations but it is as if some thread is holding us there, still!

Same uneasiness has taken a permanent residence in Agam Bajpai's life. He has achieved everything which he has envisioned. Enviosned! Yes! He has envisioned! Because he has long given up on dreams. He doesn't believe in dreaming. Because according to him , a person who dreams is a biggest loser. Because if you dream, than that is what you will get at the end, dreams! And dreams never come true! And so he has envisioned his future, set some goals to meet. And now when he is here where he has envisioned himself to be, than why can't he get rid of this restlessness?

"Ma, see what I have got?" said a 10 year old Agam to his Mom, very happy.

But his Mom was busy in looking out of the window, across the road, as if waiting for someone.

Agam saw his Mom looking for someone, across the road. His face which was radiating happiness, some moments back, quivered. He saw the trophy which was in his hand and his hand which was held high to show his Ma the trophy which he has got for The Best Sportsmen of the year, slumped by his side.

He again moved his eyes towards his Ma, in a hope that she has at-least acknowledge his presence but no, her eyes where still glued outside the window!

But he tried again, though his all teachers and friends have congartulated him, some tiny part of his innocent heart wanted some flattery words from his Ma.

"Ma? What are you looking for? See I have got the Best Sportsmen of The Year trophy" smiled Agam but the smile fell immediately hearing his Ma's next word.

"Agam , I am waiting for someone, please don't disturb me. And ya, congratulations for the trophy. Go and show it to your Nanu" said his Ma, not even looking at him.

Agam backed away from his Ma, he smiled maliciously. Well, what had he expected? That his Ma will be all over him, happy? When had that happen that it will happen today? She doesn't cares for anyboby, except ONE, She only cares for THAT MAN and no one else. She only loves the man who doesn't care for her. Who has given her nothing and for that man she is ready to give her everything.Today also she is just doing that, looking anxiously outside the window. Just because he has promised her to meet today!

Agam hated that man for doing this to them! He loathed that man, who can'\t give them any happiness but still he is comes here to snatch the little happiness which he has.

Agam was jerked away from this thought as he heard someone calling him. He opened his eyes which was close and looked at the person who was calling him.

"Ammm...Agam ji...I...I am really sorry for my behavior. I thought that because of last night fight, you have tried to hurt Arnav ji. I was wrecked with worry and...Hmmm...I am sorry for wharever I said to you, please forgive me. And I am really really greatful to you for helping Arnav ji, thank you very very much for that. You are a very nice person. Again I am sorry for whatever have said, I am feeling very bad for whatever I said to you" said Khushi, apologetically, looking at Agam.

Agam looked at Khushi's apologetic face, she was saying sorry for misunderstanding him. That was his first! Many have misunderstood him but never came forward to amend things, never bothered much! But he forced himself to not to be affected by that.Schooling an expressionless face, Agam replied.

"Its ok! It doesn't matter what do you think of me. So now as you have finished with whatever you wanted to say, than I will leave" said Agam.

Khushi felt more guilty after hearing Agam's word. She mentally scolded herself for jumping to the conclusion. But now what done is done, she can't do anything otherthan apologizing. But as she started again to say something she saw Anjali Di approaching.

"Di!" cried Khushi.

Agam followed Khushi's gaze and saw that some woman was limping towards them. And as she neared, Agam's gaze became clearer and he saw who the woman was.

Anjali Singh Raizada!

Anjali hurriedly limped towards where Khushi stood but in a hurry to reach there, she lost her balance and tripped but as she was about to fall two arms took her by shoulder and steadied her.

Agam saw his sister. No! Half sister, he reminded himself. He saw her hurriedly approaching towards him and as she neared she lost her balance and was about to fall when he hurried towards her and caught her by her shoulder.

Anjali looked at the person who has saved her from falling and the first thing that caught her eyes was the person's eyes. It was same like...same like her Chhote , thought Anjali. But she moved her eyes from him and straightened herself.

"Thanks! said Anjali to the man who has saved her from falling.

Agam just stared at her, unable to form any word.

"Di!! Are you alright? Is your leg hurt?" asked Khushi running to her side and catching hold of her.

"Yes, Khushi, I am fine,no my leg is not hurting. Where is Chhote and how is he? What did the Doctor say?" asked Anjali anxiously.

"He is fine, di! He is resting now! Doctor said not to disturb him as he is little weak due to the amount of blood he has lost" said Khushi, with her yes moist.

Anjali immediatley engulfed Khushi is a hug.

"He will be fine, Khushi. He will be alright" Anjali pulled away from the hug and weeped Khushi's tears.

Khushi was little taken aback by not seeing any traccess of tears in her Di's eyes. She had thought that Arnav ji had lied when he had said that Di has changed very much after joining the NGO but no, he was right! Di has really changed! She is much...much...much stronger now.

Khushi's eyes fell on Agam who was looking at them.

"Hmmm...Di...he ...he is Agam Bajpai...he is the one who brought Arnav ji hospital and also donated his blood to save him" introduced Khushi, Anjali toAgam.

Anjali looked towards Agam. He was also staring at her. She moved towards him.

"Thank you very much Mr. Bajpai. You don't know what big favor you have done by saving my brother! I owe you for this. Thank you very very much" Anjali expressed her gratitude.

"It's ok! I would have helped anyone in his place. And now I think that I will take your leave" said Agam, he needs to get away from all this, soon!

"Oh!...Ok...but please accept a dinner invitation at our place for tomorrow, please?" asked Anjali, he has saved his brother, how can she just let him go without thanking him properly?

"No, it's ok! This all is not needed. Thanks for inviting but I am sorry, I can't came" said Agam, what has he gotten himself into.

"Please? See you brought my brother to hospital and also gave him your blood, I can't just say a mere thank you for whatever you did for us, so please, don't say no, please?" again tried Anjali.

Agam saw his sister's pleading eyes. And he...he was unable to put himself to deny her this time. He closed his eyes. What this whole family is doing to him?

"Ok...I will be there...And now I will take your leave" and that being said he turned on his heels and left from there.

So, Guys! How was it? i know it's little short but next will be long one, pardon me for this time :)
