It has become a boring routine type thing, that, Armaan gets an award, a fake smile, some speech, then some acknowledgements and all. He's life is no less than that of a robot or any kind of machine. Nothing is as same as it was before his parents' death. Bi is shown to be on a mission, Get Armaan Malik married' and seeks for a potential wife for Armaan. Shilpa enters the story, and is shown having no interest in Armaan Malik and his life. On getting a call from hers elder sister Nikki she leaves for Mumbai. Destiny plays the very first card here as Shilpa meets Bi, successfully fools her for getting the plane ticket. On reaching Mumbai, at the airport, the mischievous fate gets them into a weird meeting, as Shilpa saves Armaan from falling at first, then herself leaves him to fall, and later on winks and grinned at him too.

As the story continues, Shilpa gets appointed in Armaan's company for an internship program. Both of them, ignoring their first meeting start a professional relationship, as of an employer and an employee. And, for a surprise, Bi and Shilpa's Dadi are found to be childhood friends. Their fate continues to play certain pranks as, Armaan gets a gift, which was purchased by Shilpa and that gift gives him a red nose, as it was spring loaded punching glove that hit Armaan's nose hard.

On the very first day on Shilpa's internship, she is rewarded with insults by Armaan, who gets 2 slaps in return. When Armaan got to know about the whole situation he apologized and gave Shilpa, one day leave as compensation. Destiny plays the second card here, as Armaan is a guest in Shilpa's elder sister's wedding. There were times when Armaan and Shilpa crossed ways, but never came face to face. The bride's bouquet first falls on Armaan, and then Armaan fearing embarrassment throws the bouquet back, which lands on Shilpa . Basically showing a glimpse of future.

Time passes! Armaan had Shilpa share a good rapport, Bi is completely in awe of Shilpa and decided to make her, her daughter-in-law, i.e. Armaan's wife. And her wish also gets granted. Both Armaan and Shilpa decides to get married, unaware of the fact that who they are getting married to. And Kanha Ji, is shown, above the heaven, in the skies, enjoying the story, eating maakhan. It's only Armaan and Shilpa who doesn't know about them getting married to each other.

And they got to know about it on their engagement. After the engagement Armaan leaves for a business trip to London. It was decided that all the rituals will be held in Malhotra's ancestral palace in Jaipur and Armaan will arrive on the wedding day itself. On 14^th February, the Valentines Day, Armaan and Shilpa got married and shared an incredible first night together, that counts in the list of The Most Weird Things' happening in ArSh's lives.

On the very first day of their married life, Armaan and Shilpa gets a little bit close, while sleeping actually! Armaan and Shilpa are happy together but still they are not in love. As Armaan gets sick, Shilpa takes care of him and also exerts her rights on him. Shilpa also joins the office again, but conceals the fact that she and Armaan are married. And in order to make things easier, they become friends.

Will this friendship lead to love or not?
