Part 13

Arnav's Cabin at AR..

He was in deep thought and pondering his brain on how he should apologize to her.. The word SORRY wasn't enough to mend all his mistakes.. The painful words which he told her and accused her for sleeping with men.. It was so hard to digest.. He shut his eyes in frustration and was angry to himself.. He couldn't believe he can stoop so low just to insult her and what was bothering him more was why her presence was affecting him..?? Why he was giving damn to her when she was just here to gives him baby nothing else.. But he was more interested in her life and taunted her character day nights.. More than that, he was the reason she had miscarriage.. She was already stressed with her life and he accidently pushed her..?? He clenched his fist when the same horrible nights flashed in front of his eyes.. At least he was glad that he reached on time and saved her from the culprit, Mahesh.. Now he don't have to bother about him as he was already behind the bar and receiving the most deserve-able punishment..

Few hours passed and he was still seating alone in his cabin.. He instructed Aman not to disturb him as he needs time to come out from this guiltiness which was haunting him.. He looked at the clock which strike at 1pm.. He took out his mobile and dial RM's landline just to check her salvation.. The phone rang before it been answer by HER.. He was just numb when he heard a soft voice from the other end.. He didn't expected her to answer as HP was already there in the Mansion.. But he don't have any option by replying back to her..

Arnav: "How are you feeling now..??" She was dumb-folded hearing his voice.. Just like him she too didn't expected this..

Khushi: "Hum tikh hai.. (I'm fine..)" She replied shortly..

There were just pin drop silence between them.. He was still arranging his words and having difficulty to speak up.. While, she was still angry and disappointed with him.. She can never forget the way he insulted her and his harsh words which can never brushed from her heart..At least not that soon.. But still she can't STOP LOVING THIS MAN.. It was true she already fall for him and wasn't considering her job a part of the deal anymore.. Instead, of a lot happen between them but she still wanted to be love by HIM.. He clear his throat and bring her back to presence..

Arnav: "Err.. Did you have your lunch..??" He asked politely..

Khushi: "Hmm.." She was just remaining cold and wanted him to admit his mistake.. But she knew it would surely take time for him as she was still no one to him..

Arnav: "Khushi.. If you are free in evening then I wanted to take you out for dinner..?" He said in one go.. He was just waiting for her reply and she said an YES weakly.. After having an awkward conversation for some minutes they cut the called.. He smiled as he feel relief after hearing her voice even she wasn't that opened up with him as she used to be but still he felt nice.. And the reason was still UNKNOWN..

Hotel Mellon..

They walked in the Hotel's restaurant.. She was wearing an blue saree and was looking deadly gorgeous.. His heart skip a beat when he saw her at first but he hurriedly consoled himself and back to presence.. The waiter show them their table which was at the corner away from the crowded.. He pulled the chair for her and made her seat while he settled on his..

They order the dinner and was having silently.. Only the piano music was playing around them.. He was stealing glance and looking at her but she was more lost in the food.. He could see how much she was fond of Indian food..

Arnav: "You like Indian food..??" She stop having her next morsel and looked at him..

Khushi: "This is what I used to eat since I was born.." Her voice cracked but she hurriedly gulped the water beside her.. She was from a poor family and she never get to taste any other foods either then Indian.. But she never complain on her life.. She was happy whatever her Devi Maiyya decided for her..

He do notice the changes in her expression and he thought of changing the topic by diverting her mind..

Arnav: "So.. what you did the whole day at home..??" He asked the most general question to her.. It wasn't his way but he don't have any interesting topic to discuss with her.. Since they have met he hadn't talk to her in such a particular way.. Whatever it was it was more to deal and the baby..

Khushi: "Nothing much I watched movies and read magazine.."

Arnav: "You might be feeling bored..??" She smiled weakly..

Khushi: "What else I can do in big Mansion..?? But I already used to such lonely life without anyone.." She start having her dinner while he was again in deep thought.. The way she said she was used to such life was only reflecting to her pain and sorrow..

Silence again took over them and they was having their dinner without sharing any words.. Once they was done he paid the bills and drive back from the hotel..

He stopped his car near the park only to make her feel uncomfortable.. He marched out from the car and went to open her door.. He hold her hand, she was little hesitate to come out.. He turn behind and assurance her with his smiles...

Arnav: "Come.." with his husky voice he called her.. She do follow his step and walked with him.. He made her seat on the bench and kneeled in front of her.. There were only them in the park with a small lake at the end and lights to make the night more romantic even it wasn't..

He held her hand and looked in her eyes.. She was looking here and there as she knew what was coming.. Even she wants him to do so but still she wasn't ready for it..

Arnav: "Khushi.." He called her softly and made her looked at him.. "You don't have to avoid my eyes.. I'm just here to say something to you.." She took the courage to meet his gaze and let him continued.. "I know I have caused you a lot of pain with all the ill words which I thrown on you.. I accused you for having affairs and insulted your career.. I was wrong.. I shouldn't said all those words to you.. I have gone too far but now I wanted to apologize for each and every words of mine.. I wanted to apologize for your illness and because of me we lost the baby.." Her tear rolled thinking she lost her first baby.. The baby which was a part of the deal and which bonded them together.. He cupped her cheeks and wiped her tear.. "I'm sorry Khushi.. For all the mistakes and roughness of mine.. I'm really sorry.." Her tear wasn't stopping to roll and she was drenching her cheeks.. He seat beside her and took her in his embrace..

Khushi(Crying): "I lost my parents when I saw just small and learning to know this world.. Then I started to live for my Dadi as she needed me.." She started to open her grief.. "But faith was always cruel towards me.. My dadi was suffering from brain tomour and needs huge amount of money for her treatment.. Circumstance made me a bar dancer.. It wasn't my own choice.. If I have given the opportunity I wanted to be an knowledgeable person and earn for them legally.. I accepted your offer as Dadi's condition was critical and I needs money in short period.. I don't mind if I spoiled my own life if those money can save my money.. But Devi Maiyya loves her more.. She snatched my Dadi from me and now I'm an orphan.. I don't have anyone in my life Arnavji.. I don't have anyone with whom I can share my grief.. I'm alone Arnavji.." She cried out on his shoulder.. She really needs someone who can comfort her and she found in this man.. Even he hurt her but still she found solace in his arms.. How ironic love is..??

Next day

He woke up in the morning and went for a morning jog.. He was standing at the same park which he went with her last night.. He recalled all her words which she told him and all her grieves.. He realize he have hurt an innocent soul and that too at such extend where he too can't forgive himself.. He dialed Aman's number and waited for him to answer.. After few beeps Aman answer his called by greeting him..

Arnav: "Aman.. I won't be attending office or any conference for one week.. Handle everything during my absence and haa.. Get the farm house ready.. I'm taking Khushi for Holiday.." Aman was surely surprised hearing this but he somewhere already guessed.. As his chief was aware about her background which lead him to take such step.. But he was happy for Khushi.. She really needs happiness after what she have gone through in her life..

He cut the called and went back to his Mansion.. He wanted to do something for her and make her realize she wasn't alone.. This trip would divert her mind with changes in surrounding.. But no one can predict future..
