Nice of Arnav to explain his motives to Khushi, or she might have been left with the feeling that was manipulated again. Keeping track of Arnavjis thoughts was more difficult than managing a room full of naughty children running in different directions at the same time... what an image! I stole your peace, your reputation, your financial security, your place in your family, your happiness I destroyed your life. I shattered the very foundation of the life you had built for yourself during the last ten years or so Before you met me, you were happy, carefree. You had dreams, a future, a place in your family, in your society Khushi, I ruined you. I destroyed everything you held dear. Khushi, let me return everything I took from you. For the first time, one truly feels that Arnav is speaking straight from his heart, without any ulterior motives! Nobody will question the genuineness of the mangalsutra you are wearing. No one will wonder if you actually have a husband or not. I think Arnav is being naive, here... dont think this is possible in our nosy society... there will be enough busybodies questioning why Khushi is at Laxmi Nagar and why he doesnt visit her, etc.! Finally, there is a true meeting of minds, where each is willing to forget all the hurt, both actual and perceived, inflicted upon his / her hearts and do everything in his / her power to bring peace of mind to the others heart.

They now had a fair idea of how dangerous and crooked the man was, how helpless Arnav must have felt that day... understandable, I know! However, the logical thing for Arnav to have done, if not then, then soon afterwards, was to have revealed the unpalatable truth to the rest of his family members, rather than stewing in his anger and helplessness... maybe then someone would have given him some sensible advice or even have investigated the allegation against Khushi. The two lovebirds totally smitten by each others looks makes one sigh! Arnav cant bear the thought of Khushi feeling even an iota of discomfort, so quickly bends his head to be garlanded by her. Lovely to see the joy and peace, however short-lived, permeating the atmosphere as the family as a whole celebrates the nuptials. Arnav seeing to it that Khushis stars are also incorporated in the mandaps decoration is a nice touch. The gentleness of his actions as he completed all the wedding rituals, when juxtaposed against his cruelty during the forced wedding with its incomplete, hence meaningless, rituals makes this scene all the more precious and moving! Khushi trembled, feeling her mind letting go of the nightmare of her forced marriage, feeling the bitter memories being replaced by sweet ones, so sweet that she would never forget in a lifetime... That says it all! Its almost as if all her nightmares have been washed away. He removed her maangtikka, taking care not to smudge her sindoor... such a contrast to their first marriage when he had callously smeared her parting with it while declaring that it held no meaning for him! Because I trust you and your love for me. Because I have faith in my love for you... it takes a strong and loving heart to let go of the person he / she loves so that that person can be happy and this is something Arnav seems to have learnt thanks to Khushis selflessness. The fire of their desire lies just below the surface and needs just a spark to ignite... but love how the update ended on a lighter note, with Arnavs laughter echoing round the room.
