Chapter 20After Jeevika was done with Asim for the day, he went home with his mom. Jeevika walked to the car and sat in it, she tried to start it, but it wasn't starting, she quickly called Meera; "Meera my car isn't starting, can you pick me up please?" she says
Meera- "On my way"
Jeevika- "Thanks" She sat on the bench waiting, she saw Meera's car and sit with her, Zaid was in the back playing with his little toys.
Meera- "How come your car isn't starting?"
Jeevika- "I don't know, i need to call the mechanic i guess"
Meera- "You know Bhabhi, the job you do is actually really interesting, i really wanna see what you do, i wanna meet your patients"
Jeevika- "You're seriously gonna ask now"
Meera- "Never got the chance, or i just forget, but now that i'm picking you up from work, i remember lol"
Jeevika- "Then come with me to work tomorrow, Viren can take care of Zaid"
Meera- "Awesome"
Zaid- "Look Dairy Queen, i want some"
Jeevika- "Zaid we have ice cream at home"
Zaid- "Me want more ice cream from here"
Meera and Jeevika look at each other and smile.
Meera- "Alright Zaid, i'll take you for some ice cream"
Jeevika- "You can only get a small"
Zaid- "Okay" he holds Jeevika's hand and walk in.
Meera- "Kay Zaid what do you want?"
Zaid- "Hmm...i want Oreo Blizzard"
Meera- "Okay one Oreo Blizzard, and Bhabhi?"
Jeevika- "Hmm..I'll get the Brownie Batter Blizzard,"
Meera- "Okay, and i'll get a shake"
Jeevika- "Actually make that 2, gonna get it for Viren" Meera smiles and gets 2
They got what they want and left, Zaid finished his whole ice cream.
They reached home and saw Viren's car, she parked right next to it and the 3 of them went inside and saw him sitting in the living room.
Viren- "Hey where were you guys?"
Jeevika- "My car wasn't starting so she had to pick me up, then Zaid wanted ice cream so we got him some, and one for you"
Viren- "Yum thanks"
Zaid- "Daddy i miss you" he hugs Viren, Viren kisses his soft little cheeks
Viren- "I missed you too"
Jeevika- "Zaid go get ready for bed"
Zaid- "Okay"
Meera- "I'll help him" she leaves with Zaid
Jeevika- "Viren"
Viren- "Yeah"
Jeevika- "Meera is coming with me to work tomorrow"
Viren- "How come?"
Jeevika- "She's actually interested in what i do, she wants to me the kids"
Viren- "Tht's good, i'll take care of Zaid"
Jeevika- "Yeah" Viren kisses her cheek and she smiles in return.
Just then there was a call coming on Skype, it was Viren's mother.
Viren- "Oh look Ma's calling"
Jeevika- "Pick it up"
Vanshika- "Viren, Jeevika tum dono"
Virika- "Yes" they smile
Viren- "How are you Ma?"
Vanshika- "I'm very good, how are you guys"
Jeevika- "Good"
Vanshika- "How about Meera and Zaid?"
Viren- "They are both good, Zaid is going to bed so Meera went to help him"
Vanshika- "Oh i see, well i wanted to talk to you guys, it's very important"
Viren- "Sure Ma anything"
Vanshika- "I wanna wait for Meera to come"
Meera- "She's here, hey Ma"
Vanshika- "Hello Beta, how are you?"
Meera- "Great, how's everyone?"
Vanshika- "They are doing good too"
Jeevika- "So what do you wanna talk about?"
Vanshika- "Well its about Meera"
Meera- "Me?"
Vanshika- "Yeah, look Meera, you've grown, you graduated college, you're now an adult, don't you think its time for Marriage, i know this really good family, they are really nice and..."
Meera- "Uhh..i need to go upstairs, i'm tired night" she leaves
Viren- "Meera woh" Meera didn't listen and went upstairs, Viren looks at Jeevika concerned
Jeevika- "I'll go talk to her, but whatever decision is what Meera wants; i'm not gonna force her"
Viren- "Yeah talk to her"
Jeevika gets up and goes upstairs to talk to her, she knocks on the door; "Its open" says Meera, Jeevika walks in and saw Meera sitting look on the window.
Jeevika- "you okay?"
Meera- "Yeah, it's just that the sound of marriage scares me, i can't, remember when i use to date that guy, we were planning to get married but he ended up cheating on me" she starts crying "I don't wanna fall in love with the guy who i'm about to marry, what if he does the same, he maybe good and stuff, but.."
Jeevika- "Meera, look at me" she wipes Meera's tear "I'm gonna make sure whoever you're gonna marry is gonna take good good care of you, if he ever hurts you, he's gonna see the worst of me" she makes Meera laugh a little "And i know that whoever he is, he's gonna love you the most, care for you the most, does whatever he can to make you happy"
Meera- "You mean like how Bhai is with you?"
Jeevika- "Yeah but maybe even better"
Meera- "Nobody can be better than Bhai"
Jeevika- "He's not the only guy"
Meera smiles and hugs Jeevika, just then Viren came in the room "Can't have a hug without me" Meera and Jeevika laugh and hug Viren
Jeevika- "Were you listening to our conversation"
Viren- "Yup, and i'm with you Meera on what Jeevika said, in the end we just want you to be happy"
Meera- "I love you guys"
Virika- "We love you too"
Viren- "So that means you're ready?"
Meera- "Yup, as long as you guys are gonna be with me the whole time, promise?"
Virika- "Promise"
Next day...
Jeevika- "Lets go Meera"
Meera- "coming"
Jeevika- "See you later Viren, bye my little Zaid" she kisses Zaid then Viren.
They go to Jeevika's work, Meera was sitting in the chair, just then Asim came inside with his mother, Jeevika hugs him.
Jeevika- "Good morning Asim how was your day?"
Asim- "Goo" he nods and smiles
Jeevika- "Good, Asim this is my sister in law Meera, meaning my husbands sister"
Asim- "Oh"
Meera- "Hi Asim, you're so adorable"
Asim smiles
Meera- "How old are you?"
Asim holds up his fingers.
Meera- "Wow you're 8, big boy right here" Asim smiles
Jeevika- "Okay, now Asim, we're gonna work on drawing out these words, see there is flower, person, tree and bird, you have to try to draw all of these, can you do that?"
Asim- "Yah" he nods
Jeevika- "Good, here are some crayons"
Meera- "Bhabhi he's so adorable like the sweetest thing ever"
Jeevika- "Yeah"
Meera- 'But we're gonna go to India soon, i don't wanna leave now, i wanna teach"
Jeevika- "You will, until we go to India and viren has a day off, i will let you come with me"
Meera- "Awesome"
Jeevika- "I have to go to meet with one of patients, you can be with Asim"
Meera- "Okay cool"
Jeevika- "Yeah, Asim, i have to meet another kid, you can stay with Meera right?"
Asim smiles and nods- "Good boy, if you need help tap her"
Meera- "Wait Bhabhi, he has Autism right?"
Jeeika- "Yeah"
Meera- "Oh Okay"
Meera helped Asim when he need it, he was actually loving her like a big sister, she gave him a piece of candy every time he got something right, in no time his mother came to pick him up.
Nosheen- "Hi where's Jeevika?"
Meera- "Oh are you his mother?"
Nosheen- "Yes, my name is Nosheen"
Meera- "Oh hi, umm.. she had to meet with another patient but i was here to help, he's actually doing really good now"
Nosheen- "Really?"
Meera- "Yes"
Nosheen- "That's great, i mean his father passed away when he was only months"
Meera- "I'm so sorry"
Nosheen- "Yeah well, was he being a good boy?"
Meera- "Very good boy"
Nosheen- "Thats good, you should come here more often looks like he likes you a lot"
Meera- "Yeah but Jeevika's son is 4 years old and so i take care of him when Bhai and her are at work"
Nosheen- "Oh i see, well nice meeting you"
Meera- "Yes, actually i wanted to ask you something"
Nosheen- "Yeah sure anything"
Meera- "My wedding in India is coming up, i wanna teach Asim there, are you able to come flight out to India?"
Nosheen- "That's very nice of you, but i don't have that much money to afford plane tickets"
Meera- "Oh, well i can pay for you and him"
Nosheen- "Oh no you don't have to..."
Meera- "But i want to..."
Jeevika- "And we can"
Meera- "Bhabhi you're here"
Jeevika- "Yup, Nosheen you don't have to worry about anything, i can pay for you and Asim, leave everything to us, but Meera would like it if you come"
Nosheen- "Sure why not then, thank you very much, when is it tho?"
Jeevika- "We're going to India, Saturday morning, so we'll call you, just pack as soon as you have time before Saturday"
Nosheen- "Oh Okay thank you very much, come on Asim baby" Asim hugged Meera and Jeevika and left.
Meera- "I am in love with that little boy, he's the sweetest thing ever"
Jeevika- "I know, but his life is so difficult for his mother and will be for him"
Meera- "What do you mean?"
Jeevika- "His mother has Cancer, i'm basically the only one that knows, but i don't ts getting worse, i told her whenever she needed someone to watch out for Asim, i'm there"
Meera- "That's terrible"
Jeevika- "Yeah it is, but good thing you invited them to the Wedding that's actually nice of you"
Meera- "Yeah well i'm awesome like that"
Jeevika- "Yeah yeah, anyways let's go home gotta finish packing"
~FEW DAYS LATER~
It was finally the day everyone was going to India, Meera was so nervous, she's never seen the guy before she prayed to god it goes well for her, Jeevika and Viren were making her calm and everything.
Viren- "Baby where's my Axe Spray?"
Jeevika- "In the bathroom"
Viren- "Alright thanks"
Jeevika- "Meera you ready?"
Meera- "Yes nervous too"
Jeevika- "Don't be, everything is gonna be fine"
Meera- "Thanks anyways where's our first stop gonna be?"
Jeevika- "We're gonna stop in Saudi Arabia, then Pakistan, then India"
Meera- "How long?"
Jeevika- "15 hours each"
Meera- "Thats so tiring, you think Zaid will be comfortable"
Jeevika- "Hopefully"
Viren "Jeevs, Nosheen is here with Asim"
Meera- "Asim is here yay" she ran downstairs, Virika smile
Viren- "She's in love with that kid"
Jeevika- "Because he's really sweet, he's adorable, i mean you have to meet him"
Viren- "I will" he kisses her cheek
After they all meet and greet they leave to India!
