Chapter 10

Arnav is shocked. He never thought that khushi will behave so rudely to him. He knew that she will stand up for her rights but then being rude and leading her life without caring for others, this was new to him. The khushi he knew would do anything for others happiness, but this was a different khushi. She had changed so much. He sighed and went to changed and tried to sleep thinking about khushi and the recent events.

Khushi woke up the next day with a smile on her face. Today was the wedding and she had lot of work to do. She quickly got ready and helped HP in breakfast. Nani, Maami, Maamaji also joined for morning aarti.

Khushi : Naaniji, please bless me. Today is a big day for me. I hope i am successful in today's work.

Maami : Hey phatti saadi whatz doings. what especial todays that you are taking saasuma's blessings.

Khushi : Maami, today is indeed a special day and i also need yours and maamaji's blessings.

Saying this she moved towards maami & mamaji and took her blessings. Maami was more happy and blessed her wholeheartedly making maamaji faint seeing his mano's avatar. All moved to the dinning table for breakfast. Khushi had her breakfast and went out for her work. Meanwhile arnav got up and found his room empty. He thought that she might be in kitchen, so he went to freshen up and got ready to go to hospital. and release NK.

He came down for breakfast and found naani, maami, & maamaji at the table. He searched for khushi and was thinking where was she? His thoughts were interrupted by maami.

Maami : Hello Hi Bye bye whom are you searching arnav bituwa.

Arnav : Wo maami i i

Naani : Khushi bitiya has gone out somewhere chotte. I wish you solve the difference soon if you want to stay with her or are you planning to do what you have said and married her. Think and decide what you want chotte.

Arnav : Naani i mean i know i did a mistake but that doesn't mean i am not repenting it but khushi is not giving me a chance and she is god knows doing what. I know i can tell aman to find out but i just don't want her to think that i am spying on her.

Maami : Hello Hi Bye bye.. Arnav Bituwa.. Give sometime to Phatti saadi, i am sure she will calm down. Her gussa is more than mine..

Maamaji : Manno is this you who is speaking or someone else. Amma what happen to manno. I am getting scared day by day seeing her new avatar.

All had their breakfast and arnav moved to hospital along with Naani, Maami & Maamaji. All met anjali and buaji. He told akash to take rest. He wanted to speak with NK, NK also saw arnav giving looks to him and knew he wanted to speak with him but then he knew arnav will never approach him so he went near him and spoke to him.

NK : Nannav do you want to speak with me.

Arnav: Huh? No i mean yes.. I I want to know NK i mean..

NK : Offo Nannav you are the ASR and you stammering like this doesn't look good. Go on tell me what you want to know. Wait a minute.. Is it about khushiji? Then please i cannot tell you. All i can say is give her sometime. She loves you a lot but then you broke her trust. Take care nannav.

NK dint wait a second their since he knew if he stayed there a little longer arnav would corner him and drill him till he gets his answers. So he just moved from there. He knew khushiji has a big day today so he wanted to go home and meet her and if possible help her and be with her.

On the way home he called khushiji. Khushi picked the call after 5 rings.

NK : Good morning khushiji.

Khushi : Good Morning Nanheji. How is Di and Buaji. I already reached the hotel nanheji. If incase you are not tired could you please come here. I am little tensed.

NK : Khushiji Di is fine and also buaji. Dont stress yourself khushiji. I am going to RM, will freshen up and then come to meet you. Hey why fear when me and your devi maiyaa is with you. I am sure you will do your best in today's work and all will praise you. Just hold on for some more time and i will come to meet you. By the way did you meet rahul.

Khushi : Ha nanheji. I met him. Come soon nanheji..

NK : Ok khushiji take care i will reach there soon.

NK reached RM, got freshen up and then moved to hotel. He was welcomed by the manager who led him to rahul. They had some time together and then nk went to meet khushi. By that time the lunch was ready. Khushi along with other supporting staff moved to the wedding venue. Soon the wedding rituals started. All the while khushi had tears in her eyes. How she had dreamt that her wedding would be like a fairy tale but then such weddings happen only in fairy tales and not in real life. NK saw her crying and placed a hand on her shoulder understanding what she was going through. Khushi tried to smile through her tears but failed miserably. But still she was determined to stand on her own feet without the support of her contract husband. After the wedding, the lunch was served. All praised her hard work and soon she reached the hotel to inform rahul who already got the information and was happy to see this young lady making her name for herself. Khushi and NK thanked her and soon she got a permanent job in the hotel.

Later she and NK went to temple to thank devi maiyaa for her support and both of them returned to RM.

Chapter 11 :

On the way she told NK to take her to the bank. NK had informed her that rahul had transferred her salary amount in her account. She took some amount and went to RM.When they entered RM they saw all of them in the living room. Khushi went to join them. HP brought tea and snacks. She went near naani and knelt in front of her. She took out the packet from her handbag and gave it to naani. Naani was confused thinking what is khushi giving her but then she opened the packet to find money.

Naani : Ee ka hai khushi bitiya.

Khushi : This is some amount for letting me stay here and also my first salary for my hard work.

All were shocked seeing khushi like this. She never bothered about money but then she giving money to stay in her house was too shocking.

Naani : Khushi bitiya ye aap kya keha rhai hai.

Maami : Hello hi bye bye phatti saadi whatz is wrong with you. Giving money to stay in your housewa.

Maama : Khushi bitiya i know you are hurt because of arnav bituwa but this is not needed.

Khushi : Naani, Maami, Maamaji. From the time i met Mr. Arnav Singh Raizaada he kept telling me about my aukat and middle class girls like me can do anything for sake of money. It was because of him i face so many problems in my life. If i had know that shyam was such a cheat i would have not allowed him into buaji's house. But again i dint except ASR to be so blind and went ahead to spoil an innocent girls life for the sake of his Di. I dont want to be a burden in this house nor do i want to spend his money, cuz at the end of the contract he should not tell that i am behind his hard earned money. And also i will have to pay him 25000 for hitting his vehicle with happyji's scooter. One lakh which i had to pay him for leaving AR designs within a month is finally settled since anjaliji blackmailed me to pay it or teach lavanya the values and importance of marriage. So that score is settled. If this is less i can draw more cash and give it to you. Please check with the owner of this house and let me know. I am tired so please excuse me.

Nanheji thanks for your help. Tomorrow we will go to hospital and then from there i will to my work. Without you i would have not been anything. HPji please call me when its time for dinner. She gets up and moves to the room without noticing a man standing shocked at the doorstep of the living room.

Naani, maami, NK, Maamaji look at each other thinking about what khushi had said and then naani saw arnav.

Naani : Welcome Mr Arnav singh Raizaada. Here is the money which khushi bitiya had given me for letting her stay her. She is going to pay for her stay and her expenses which you would be spending on her till the contract marriage is over.

She hands the packet to arnav and moves to her room. Maami and mamaji do the same. NK looks at him for some time and moves to his room. HP who was shocked to see this new avatar of the every smiling and bubbly khushi felt bad for her and moved towards the kitchen to prepare black coffee to arnav bhaiyya.

Arnav moved towards his room with the packet of money in his hand. He entered his room to find khushi coming out of the washroom after changing her dress. She looked at him and the packet in his hand. She knew soon the volcano will erupt and so she waited. Arnav came inside, kept his bag and money on the coffee table. He sat on the recliner and saw khushi standing near the bed waiting for something. Finally what she was waiting for happened.

Arnav: Khushi where do you work? What is the need for you to work? Is the placed safe where your working? Is NK with you till you finish your work. I dint mean anything khushi and there is no need.

Khushi : Stop right there Mr. Arnav Singh Raizaada. Are you alright. U were the same person telling me about my aukat from the time we met. U are the reason i am like this. U totally broke me. I have to pay you 25000 for the damage done to your car. Now please check if this money for staying in this house is enough or you want some more. I dont wish to breathe the same air but i am bound to your contract. So please keep your words what u told me in the temple. I will be your wife only to the outside world not in this room. I will not bother you so i expect the same from you. I cant get one minute of peace and sleep in this room.

Saying this she moves towards the pool with a pillow and soft mattress. She spreads it on the floor and adjusts her pillow and lie down and soon drifts to sleep.Arnav stood looking at her and her changed behaviour. Dint she care for the feeling of his family members. All his thought came to halt as he felt too tired. He wanted to know the extend of damage he had done. He heard a knock at the door and opened it to find HP with his coffee. He took the mug and went to freshen up and drank the coffee and got ready to work as he had so many important things to do.
