Chapter 12 :

This went on for sometime and khushi used to pay monthly amount to naani which naani used to give it to arnav. Soon days changed into months and arnav tried his best to win her back but khushi was hell bent on ignoring him. Arnav was losing patience. Soon the contract would be over. Khushi was very well aware of it. So he decided to speak to his family members and get married again and give khushi her dream wedding. But little did he know that khushi was all set in freeing herself from this knot. She worked very hard and gathered quiet large amount.

Soon she decided to start her own business with rahul as partner. They decided to start it in lucknow. Rahul gave a green signal and soon they decided to go to lucknow and check for plot and start the construction. But khushi told that she would like to start it in her home. So it was decided that they would leave for lucknow the next week. NK was very well aware as to why khushi wanted to go to lucknow next week. It was 6 months after their marriage which means the contract will be ending. Arnav was busy with his work and he totally forgot about this. There were times when he travelled to mumbai for deals. One fine morning khushi decided to tell the family about her plans. Arnav had just returned the previous night from mumbai.

Khushi : I would like to tell you all something.

All looked at her. She looked at NK and he gave a nod which dint go unnoticed by the family members. Taking a deep breathe khushi spoke.

Khushi : I am shifting to lucknow. I am going to start a new business with rahulji. Me, Nanheji and rahulji will be leaving to lucknow day after tomorrow.

Payal : Par khushi how can you leave. Its our 6 month wedding anniversary.

All took a deep breath and looked at payal and then at khushi. Arnav felt as if someone had punched him. He looked at khushi who was looking at him.

Khushi : Sorry to disappoint you Mrs. Payal Akash Singh Raizada. Its your wedding anniversary, not mine. Anyway i will be free from this hell and can lead the life the way i want.

Arnav : But u can't go khushi. Remember there is no contract.

Khushi(in anger) : Oh cut the crap Mr.Raizada. I know how well u know to play with others. Using your brain with me is not going to work this time. U have done enough damage to me and i care a crap to u and ur family. And if ur going to use the same old threating of breaking payal's marriage, well i dont care. Because she was, is and will always be my step-sister. Its better u stay out of my life and let me live. Naani please let me go. I feel suffocated in this house. I just wanted to say this to u so some people dont think that i am coward and want to run away like your so called shyam.

Arnav and khushi had very big argument and khushi gave him her piece of mind and dint spare him or give away when he asked how could she just leave him like that. Finally naani decided to put her foot down and told khushi to go ahead. Arnav was shocked to hear this and broke the vase and stormed out of the house without having breakfast ignoring anjali's call.

Khushi was happy that she could go to lucknow but she knew that her so-called-contracted husband will not leave any stone unturned to stop her but she was also khushi kumari gupta. Yes she dint want to join arnav's name with hers. He has hurt her from the time they met and now she had decided to leave this delhi and return and start a new life. She went to her room and started packing and made necessary arrangements for her parents and buaji.

Meanwhile arnav who left RM without hearing anything drove aimlessly till his anger reduced a bit. But not fully. He took a turn and went to GH so he can try his luck and speak to khushi's parents and buaji so they can convince them in making khushi stay. But what he saw made him feel the earth beneath him slip away.
