You answered these questions with need, hope and love.

Both of them wanted a moment of love, not a lifetime as they are too unfortunate to expect it. And you gave them a beautiful moment at that.

You recreated the sibling bond, the inexplicable feelings they feel for the other and the diwali night so well, so vividly. I wasn't reading this story, I was watching it.

If wishes were shooting stars, Arnav and Khushi would be together...

Of my entire time on this forum as a reader, silent or otherwise, this is the 3rd time I am asking a writer to continue an OS. Pls give me another part if possible. I want to see how Arnav will make things better.

I need to thank arshifan91 for recommending this story. 😊

Who would have thought that both their wishes would come true
But they did dare they make another one
Both wished for same didnt they
He did kiss her after all and she kissed him back
Well am surprised she asked him to kiss her
But glad she did
Both got their moment of love and that's what matters

Hi Ana
This is the first time I am reading a story written by you and I must confess I love the way you write. Vandana Sagar suggested I read this story...and I thank her for this recommendation!🤗
Loved the concept--especially how you have woven the story around that night of the shooting star.
Loved the sisterly bonding and how you described their talk - the important stuff and the not-so-important stuff...I have a sister myself and can remember many many evenings spent doing just this - talking!!!😆
Loved how the Payal in your story is persistent about Khushi not being comfortable with the alliance with Syam...of course, Khushi being Khushi, does manage to smile and finally convince her Jiji that all is well! Khushi really could talk herself out of anything!!!😊 Loved how you put into words - how Khushi would know she'd met the right person for her- to be showered with flowers - not star, no not those "or she would get burnt" 😆 - loved how you infuse humor so subtly into the situation. Brilliant!
Loved how you refered to KKHH - really, Ana - was it really that long ago...😲 to me it feels like just yesterday...ouch! Time sure has flown!!! 😔
I loved how she wishes for a moment of love - with him! Loved it! That "ehsaas" she feels - she already acknowledges as love - loved how she is hoping for the inevitable--- dreams never come true, or do they?😉
Loved how you moved to Arnav - that scene with Arnav and Anjali on the show is one of my favorites - loved how you took that one scene and wove so many beautiful sibling moments - loved Arnav's recollecting the past - his Di telling him what to wish for (as an older sister, I am guilty of this too- telling my sister what to do and a lot more😆)- some happy sweet moments shared between siblings - well done!👏
And loved how he wishes for a moment of love too - for himself - unknowingly bringing two destinies together ...😊
The next part - Diwali - I never thought this scene could be topped ...ever- those moments between Arnav and Khushi were almost too sacred to touch... know what I mean?
Loved how you wove your own take on this and took it to another level! LOved the communication between Arnav and Khushi here - a dream, a wish fulfilled in part...leaving them and us wishing for more - hope is eternal!
Will you continue, Ana?
Would love to see where you take it from here...
😃

Ana, can I say that this was the most beautiful OS I have ever read... This OS had me desperately craving for that one moment of love. Tonight I am going to look out in the sky for some shooting star! But sigh! In the brightly lit city like Mumbai, I don't think I will be able to spot more than five stars... 😉

It started of beautifully, with describing the warm and special bond between the two sister. Its spoke of the ties of the heart and not blood. Both of them having a conversation about their lives and then Payal taking the role of an older sister, questioning Khushi about her happiness... Their conversation of ideologies on falling in love was so beautifully written... I loved the way Payal kept telling Khushi that the decision would finally be hers... She would always support her younger sister... And the reference to KKHH 'tootta taara'... got me into a nostalgic mode... I just loved the way you have described Khushi's emotions, her feelings of what those pair of deep brown eyes do to her. In spite of how hard she tried... how much Arnav affected her... Her insecurities of not being good enough for a rich man like him, her sadness for being insulted by him and her thinking that Lavanya was more suitable for him was so, so beautifully described... And how Khushi wishes for just a moment of love with Arnav...☺️

And in another part of Delhi, Arnav is looking at the same sky... You have again amazingly written the bond shared by this brother-sister duo... The way Anjali tries to tease her younger brother, who has matured way before his age. Finally thinking that Lavanya has brought, the much needed love in his life...But Arnav being his curt self, denying every emotion that his DI was talking about. And then she speaks about the girl... she peaks of Lavanya... yet he imagines only Khushi...Wondering what power did that girl have on him? Wondering, that how could a girl like her have such an effect on him? His sister gets it right, that he is in love... but just not the girl she thinks it is... And then they both see the same shooting star... and she forces him to ask for a wish... And what a sweet moment you created Ana... he asks for the same as Khushi... just a moment of love with her... ❤️

And then I wondered if I had ever looked out for a shooting star and wished for this to happen... Because you have penned down my deepest wish Ana... This is my most favorite scene of IPK... I must have watched it numerous times... The Diwali -- Jaadu hai nasha hai scene... You described every emotion, every thought of Arnav and Khushi so beautifully... The minute details of the touch affecting both of them... the bunching up of her saree and grabbing his shoulder just made the story so picturesque... And thankfully it didn't end there... the almost kiss, actually happened... I am in awe of your writing Ana... you are truly talented... I loved how this story ended... with hopes for everything being just all right... with a hope for a happy ending... Phew!! This was one beautiful wish fulfilled... 😃

After a very long time I read an OS on Diwali which made my heart flutter like a humming bird and not only that, I loved the way you have incorporated the scenes from the show :-)

A delightful read. Thank you :-)
