Loved it Afya, but then I always do. I am always amazed with the clarity and simplicity with which you write, making it perfect and such a visual treat...
Sorry for missing commenting but have been so caught up ...but I am here and loving this incredible journey that your are taking us along for.
I loved her surprise and exhilaration on hearing him admit his love to her,I can just imagine the euphoria she experiences along with the shock, this man who she married,,,,,from the indifference he showed in the beginning, the lack of sensitivity and trying to negotiate a deal on the very night of their wedding breaking her heart and all her dreams now resurrecting them in a manner that she never expected...incredible...
Loved how he she is left speechless and so overwhelmed that she is unable to responds immediately . Leaving him with doubts and a feeling of insecurity trying to gauge why she never reacted or responded ...
Loved how his romantic gesture does not go unnoticed by the family...
Loved how after collecting herself and processing his words she is anxious to meet him and finds herself in a position where her restless finding her thoughts wandering to him and them rather than being able to focus on anything else...
Loved how she goes back to her room to find him asleep disappointed but waits for the morning where again she is left wondering about his absence...dressing with care with the attention of pleasing him...and looking out for him, wanting to talk to him and see him she finds herself being cornered by the family...I feel her anxiety! Loved how she is disappointed at finding him gone and looks at her clothes ...beautiful ! Loved that she has no interest in being a part of anything at that moment and her only focus is being able to talk to him...
Loved how when she finally sees him she is about to leave she feels anxious and shy and loved how she comes back and tells him...she could not leave without telling him...her heart was bursting with her declaration and she needed to tell him just like she felt he needed and deserved to know too...the video incredible...it was so beautifully used here, the perfect situation for the inclusion ...your choice of scenes leave me in awe...and this one fitted brilliantly !
Loved his feeling of happiness, relief and love on hearing her say she loved him, it was like he suddenly has everything!
Loved how she waits for him and he leaves no chance in teasing her and catching her unaware but responsibilities beckon so their rendezvous cut short, but those few stolen moments enough for them to bask in the happiness of their new found relationship status ! Loved his wearing the Kurta...small but sure steps that he is taking...
Loved how finally when they are together he takes the first opportunity and hold on to her hand, and she unable to control herself kissing his fingers... just happy!
Love how he demands that she go up with him embarrassing him but now that he finally has his love his wife to himself he was not willing to share h so easily with the family...loved the presents ...he does know her, enough to touch her heart and turn her dreams into reality...and that video brilliant again...every expression perfect and blending do well with your characterisation of them...suiting the moment perfectly ..
Loved how he admires her sleeping form ...free to finally touch her...removing her hair gently and tucking it aside...the smile the warmth ...just content ...
Love how he wants her to accompany him to meet the maasi, and she is happy to go along with him... loved how after introducing her as his wife the maasi knows and recognises Khushi to be the one,, the treasure that has been bestowed to him so knowingly and lovingly by his mother.
Loved how he tells Khushi about the letter that his mother wrote to him calling her chotey's Khushi and asking him to treasure her...
Loved how she understands his sadness and emotions at leaving maasi behind and gently and silently comforts him by stroking his hand...it's all so visual, each detail making it a delight to read...
Loved their conversation in the car, light and their friendship coming to the forefront their comfort with each other, loved how she chooses a perfect song for that moment skipping her SK's song...and I loved that he notices that she does...
Loved how he is concerned for her once their have car trouble, loved hiw he calls the family, but concerned that they might worry, just tells Akaash to keep it to himself ...I am glad they have car trouble ...ha ha ha ...her falling in to the pit, his scratch you covered it all beautifully and I love that they find that hut, I didn't like the scene in the show, the timing was off but you have recreated it so beautifully and I cannot wait to know what happens next...this could be just the perfect moment for them to give into their desire...
Thanks Afya for such a beautiful and well written update!
