Everyone was retreating out of the room, congratulating the Man of the Hour, who simply took the wishes with a smile plastered on his face...Fake was it? NO! he had reason'S' to smile! Mind the S'.Jeevika was pretty hesitant to go to him even to get back her laptop, so she planned to skip...but Fate! She couldn't ...afterall being the Chair person, she was expected to meet her new "Partner" right?

Jeevika proceeded in his direction trying to avoid looking into his eyes...how much she knew those love filled eyes would tempt her yet again making it even more difficult for her to not fall for him again. She half heartedly and a t a quick pace shook hands with him, congratulated him and picking up her laptop...she swiftly turned to go, to be held back by Viren who all this while had been staring at her continuously. Her heart seemed to stop...she tried to mutter something but her breath didn't allow words to come out. His hand roamed up her arm sending shivers down her spine...and he kept moving closer to her until they had no space left between them. He peeked through her ear, his soft lips touching her ear...and said "Can we forget the past?? Please" His hands made their way to get hold of hers, putting the laptop aside. But she was lost! Lost in his touch and the Past...

The days flashed into her mind when the two admired each other secretly and went slowed down on the last day, the farewell day!

That morning broke bringing in fits of happiness, memories and many emotions...because 6 years of college were going to end. The best phase of their lives was ending today and they were moving for something bigger, entering into the real struggle! While everyone was in their own sweet dilemmas...Viren and Jeevika had a little more of anxiety this morning. This could be the last day, they'll see each other, maybe the last day they could talk, the last day of their not yet blossomed love. Was it time to let go?!! But deep down in their hearts the feeling of being one was so strong that letting go didn't seem to be an option. Viren decided not to let go and break the bund today and let his feeling flow out to Jeevika. Well he had a long planning! He bought a gorgeous Platinum ring, with a well cut diamond studded on it and arranged for a huge ball at night as the night was free for everyone to get into a party because the official party was the next day.

Jeevika too on the other hand had decided to acquaint Viren with her love and receiving Viren's email about the ball she just couldn't stop smiling. Her proposal was going to be so perfect! Viren couldn't attend the last day at college with the ongoing preps which made Jeevika sad because she couldn't catch his glimpse talking and laughing with his friends,...The happy Viren on the last day but atleast had a backup with the ball. She left college earlier that day because it sure was gonna talk long biding everyone a final adieu and she didn't wanted to lose on time to get ready for the evening ball.She had to look perfect for the day...and thus made a quick escape .

Viren who was all tired after getting everything arranged took a final check and got back to his room to get ready...and amidst all the exhaustion his enthusiasm remained intact. He held the ring in his hand staring and smiling at it.He took out his black Gucci suit, setting his hair a little he got ready for the evening. And he looked breath-taking. Surely all the girls were down today...

Here, Jeevika wore a stunning white shimmering off-shoulder gown looking none less than an angel down from the heavens. Indeed, a show-stealer! Getting her hair done in neat curls she left in her 6 inch heels . The ball started at 8 but she was out at 7 only .She wanted to reach their soon and get some free moments with Viren to confess her feelings. She was experiencing those butterflies in her stomach and How?!?

Reaching outside his place at 7:30 , she took in a deep breath, told herself "Go Jeevs GO...get ur love" she proceeded in. The long walk inside seemed to be too short to her and she was mesmerized to see the decorations. "GORGEOUS" was what she couldn't help but utter seeing the interiors ...but she had more important things for now...

She asked one of the staff people where could she find Viren, who gave her the direction to his room. Walking up the stairs, she felt so much nervous...which was actually beyond description. Landing up at the door of his room, she felt her heart beating a 100 times faster and was about to knock when she heard Viren saying "I love you Alisha...now can u stop"

She was broken ...completely! She couldn't take in what she just heard...her hopes, her love was all shattered...She couldn't handle any bit of it and ran down the flight of stairs, but her hurry costed her. She already was running down and not looking at the path n front of her that she tripped off her heels and fell down halfway the stairs, screaming. Viren ran out of his room hearing that, followed by Alisha and down Jeevika was surrounded by the staff. She had broken her leg and her head too was bleeding lightly, but she cared a little to stop and tried to walk out but her leg was not really helping. She with the utmost pain and difficulty stood up and was about to walk out when Viren rushingly came down to check on her and as he tried to make her sit down, getting hold of her arm...she just shrugged off, piercing her sharp and painful eyes into his. A tear went down her cheeks and just before reverting to depart she managed to see a lipstick mark on his cheeks. This was just another level of breakdown for her...she just stormed out with the utmost difficulty, crying all the way and leaving behind a baffled Viren.

He could solve the jigsaw as to what happened and was in a deep guilt! He was a calm person as such but at this moment he could control and he slapped Alisha hard bringing her out of her drunked state. Alisha was one of Viren&Jeevika's classmates who was one s**t and this time her target was Viren. She was threatening Viren that she'll kill herself if he didn't accept her and say ILY to her...such a b****y nuisance she was! Viren didn't wanted problems during the party so he planned to go with what she said at the moment for she was holding a knife to her wrist and once she's down a bit, he would get her out from stake and do something further .But the poor guys Badluck! Jeevika came at the instant he said ILY to Alisha! He had taken off the knife later but as he was done with that, he heard the scream and was down to see a both physically and emotionally injured Jeevika!

The rest was an open book...

Viren cancelled the ball. The day was not at all on the right track...he followed Jeevika but she banged the door and his face not letting him not even ready to listen to him. She was adamant. Viren stayed there the entire night just to get to chance to explain himself. The doctor came in, checked her, plastered her foot but he could not get a chance to talk to her. He kept requesting but all in vain...It was after a few hours that Jeevika came out...her condition made Viren all the more depressed. But she directly sat in the car and behind her came a huge suitcase...Viren could just get what happened that the car drove off...

He was left there...all alone...with a broken heart and guilt to repent for probably his entire life.

Viren was waiting for a reply...when Jeevika came out of her thoughts and questioned him...why didn't you come and tell me the truth...U should have been adamant!!?

This was not her but her guilt. She much later discovered what actually happened that night but it was too late. She didn't knew where to find Viren...he had shifted to some other place. She badly needed to apologise but how?! Here, she knew she needed to ask for pardon before anything...but couldn't help and asked him WHY did he not made an extra effort to get her through the truth...

Done for the day...i think many suspenses have been cleared out... 😉

Sorry for the LONG delay...but i had exams and September literally flew away with them! Tiring...but anyways ,i managed to pull off to an update...
