Chapter 1

It was a sunny day when a girl wearing expensive clothes and gold jewellery walked to the bazaar, she was just looking at the articles.She did not want to buy anything; she did not need to buy anything. She just wanted to wander in the bazaar. She was beautiful; she looked like an angel who descended from heaven. But her eyes seamed to carry lot of pain. She was not smiling. Everyone in that street noticed her and was talking about her. Why wouldn't they, after all she was Sharanya Raiprakash. She had two guards walking behind her. She looked irritated. She knew that everyones eyes were on her and she hated this fact. All of a sudden she turned behind and odered her guards to leave "You may leave, I do not need protection, I want to be alone." One of the guards spoke "we do not want to disobey you, your highness but we have been commanded by saint shivamitra to not let you out of sight." "Who is he to order you, just a good for nothing saint. It is I who has right to do so and you cannot deny me, after all I am the imperial highness. I command you to leave now." She commanded in authority. They left without saying a word.

It had been hour that she just wandered and bought absolutely nothing. As she was looking at the flower vase, a servant from the royal house came to summon her "your highness, grand duchess kriya wants to meet you immediately. She also ordered me to inform you that your paternal aunt, her royal highness queen simrita has arrived in jaipur " she simply nodded and proceeded to the palace.

She was warmly welcomed in the palace by simrita. She had also seen kriya standing beside simrita smiling as usual. "How happy am I to see you. Its not been long though, anyways I need to speak a matter of extreme importance to you." Simrita said glancing at both the girls.

Saying so, she took them to her chambers. She said " I have been sent to convey the message of the arrival of the princes of mithila to you. They want to come and meet you, talk to you, see Jaipur's beauty with you and spend some time here. So get ready, you will need to entertain them at all times." Simrita said excitedly while Sharon and kriya got worried. Kriya spoke "we are going to get married to them aren't we?" "of course, why do you ask?" simrita said. kriya replied "we feel they should know about us. We cannot hide it from them. They need to know that their future wives are impure." "Certainly not." commanded simrita. "Do you want to get married or not. Do you even understand the consequences you and this family will face if this news goes out? This marriage will not only secure your lives but also the people of your kingdom." Replied simrita in an angered tone. "We do understand but we are going to betray the people who trust us and are not only willing to spend the rest of their lives with us but also give us a part of their kingdom. They trust us so much that they are ready to make us a part of administration. Is it right on our part to lie to them? They haven't even seen us yet. How pleased would they be if they would know about us after marriage? It is better if they know about us before marriage. If they said yes to getting married to us without seeing us, then I feel they might understand us even now. Sharon stated. "But what if they won't agree? What reason would you give them? Can you both reason your fate? Can you accuse your parents for it? Simrita asked. "We need to" replied kriya. Simrita sighed and asked them to go and get ready. They nodded and left.

After a while both of them got dressed and proceeded downstairs to the court. As soon as they reached they found three men siting close to their father and glancing at them. One of them looked elderly whiles the other two quite young. Both the princes were staring at them intently as they were unable to take their eyes of the beauty in front of them. swayam noticed the pain in sharon's eyes. he felt as though they wanted to say something to him. Reyaansh noticed kriya's fake smile, he doubted whether she was fine with the marriage. All four of them wanted to speak to each other. Sharon and kriya wanted to clear doubts while swayam and reyaansh wanted their doubts to be cleared

Just then Gautham introduced them to each other. "maharaj bhuvan, they my daughters kriya and sharanya, we call her Sharon. He stood up and came close to the sisters they touched his feet as a mark of respect. He blessed them and smiled. He noticed Sharon not smiling. He suspected Sharon not being ready for the marriage. he went back to his seat and said "I think our children should have a chance to meet and talk with each other alone now since they have not yet spoken or seen each other" gautham agreed and asked both kriya and Sharon to take reyaansh and swayam to their chambers. They nodded and reyaansh followed kriya to her chambers and swayam followed Sharon to her chambers.
