All I want to say is THANK YOU...

Beautiful story, NB. I loved it. They need to take it one step further and increase the punishment for throwing acid on a woman. It's potentially fatal, and charging these monsters with culpable homicide is the least they can do.

A beautifully written piece that has so beautifully captured such a sensitive topic. Had tears in my eyes while reading it. Loved how supporting the whole family had been. their constant love and encouragement and final triumph. All I had running in my mind throughout the story were the countless acid attack reports. The plight of the women who suffer both emotionally and physically just because of men who couldn't handle rejection. And not everyone is lucky enough to have a family and a husband like in the case of this story. I sincerely salute the courage that it takes for them live through it all and also make a difference in the society. Hope that the new law is used to its full measure.

I resed here the same day when I read this OS, when I was going to comment just coulodnt take the fact that in all these years there is no change.

I remember back in my school days there was lots of incidents of acid throwing here and there, but still it is continuing there is no change in law and there is no change in the mind. Unfortunatley always the victims are young girls and middle aged women.

The sufferings of the victims and thier family members cant be explained by any words and thier road to recovery is always tough. If one has the will power like Kushi and family like her the recovery process will ease a lot.

NB thanks for taking the situations like this and putting your time and effort to gather information and giving us as OS.

Hats off to you on writing on such a huge issue of our society and I wish people out there in real world are little bit like people in this story. Real world is too cruel Very intense and inspirational chapter, great job 👏👏👏
