What the hell?How can you even think like that huh? Remember one thing that I am Gunjan Bhushan and will make you pay for it!
Saying so the fuming diva cut the call. She scattered all her belongings here and there and headed towards the main entrance and drove off.

" Coffee Beans"
He was at the right place and was really excited to meet her. Its been ages since he saw her. A small smile crept on his face and with that small but captivating smile of his he moved inside the coffee shop. After searching for a bit he finally got a glance of her. She was the same old girl...fuming with anger and sat there waiting for him to arrive. He gulped hard as he knew that he will not to be able to go in single piece so he prayed to God to save him and moved to her.
She checked her watch he was 15 minutes late!! How can he make her wait when he knows that she hates waiting especially for boys!! She moved her head in disappointment she saw him standing near her table with an apologetic smile on his face.
"You... And the very next moment he found himself in her embrace. She hugged him tight and mouthed "Missed you" that he heard and hugged her back saying "I missed you too Candy". (😆😆)
Yes the person was none other Dia...Dia Malhotra. Samart's best buddy! Samrat and his Candy shared a very good bond since childhood. They shared every bit with each other and were like really close to each other. Dia broke the hug and hit him on his chest.
"Ouch, itna gussa? He asked with a pout on his face.
"Aur bhi gussa hai dikhaun? I hate you! Just hate you Sammy for leaving us!! Don't talk to me." She announced her clear annoyance.
"Aww I know Candy and I hate myself for that as well have been hating myself more in all these wretched years".
"Sammy". She had tears in her eyes..tears of joy to see her long lost friend... tears of anguish that she had to see her dear sister in pain. It was a mixed feeling for her but more than that she just wanted to enjoy the moment with him...and cherish the special bond that they share.
"Sssh!! Please don't cry it makes me more guilty and tumhare saath I don't wanna feel that way Candy please". He requested cutely that she smiled at him.
"So tell me what's up with life". She started randomly.
"All's good except me". He said and looked down not too sure what to say.
"Sab theek ho jaye ga". Dia assured him by squeezing his hands lightly.
"Pata nahi sab theek hoga bhi ya..." Dissapointed laced in his voice.
"Asey mat kaho sab theek hi hoga". She was still living with an undying hope in her that maybe things might change.
"So tum batao Candy how's life on your end". He tried to sound cheerful.
"Its going good Sammy abhi free hoon from my fashion designing so came to India tum sab se milne".
"Sab se mil liya?" He asked curiously.
"Hmm sab se". She answered in a slow voice.
"Kaisi hai wo?" He asked her in a remorse tone.
Dia looked at him and asked him in return " Agar itni fikar thi tou...", and turned her face to the other side.
"Abhi bhi roti hai kya?" Samrat became concerned after all you can't change the feeling of love.
"Nahi rona tou kab ka chod dia ab tou bas uski ankhoon mein tanhai aur suna pan dikhta hai...bas saans le rahi hai wo jee nahi rahi kyun ke jeena to kab ka chod dia". She complete her sentence in a hurtful voice.
"Uska khayal rakhna Candy". He managed to say this only and decided to leave.
"Ja rahe ho phir se". Her voice made him stand at his place and he turned back to look at her.
"Please thori der ruk jao na". She pleaded and he just couldn't say no.
"Ok as you wish". He again sat down with her.
"Tum kaafi badal gaye ho Sammy". Dia told him with a sad tone.
"Haan ya shayad waqt badal gaya hai Candy". Samrat knew that things have changed and with time he too has changed or is still struggling to convince himself that nothing can be sorted out? He was confused.
"Sammy ye lo". She handed him a card rather an invitation card.
"Yeh kya hai?" Samrat asked rather surprised.
"Invitation card hai aur tumhein ana hai. Party hai kal mere ghar par. Dia told him.
"Party? Nahi Candy possi...". He was cut in between.
"No ifs and no buts Mr.Samrat Shergil tumhein ana hai and that's final!!" Dia ordered him.
"Par..." Samrat tried to give excuses but Dia was not in a mood to listen to him.
"Please". Dia made a cute puppy face and there was no scope for him to put the offer down.
"Ok ok fine. Par kis khushi mein?" Samrat agreed reluctantly as he cannot afford to lose these precious relations that he got back.
"Actually I have decided to launch my own designs in India as well so uske liye party hai and you are coming. By the way time kya hua hai?" Dia asked him about the time in a chilled manner as she was sure that it can't be 6 so soon.
"Wow that's amazing Candy. I am so happy for you. Its half past 5." Samrat replied smiling.
"What?" Dia cried and jumped from her seat.
"Kya hua Candy? Relax!". Samrat tried to calm her down.
"I can't Sammy, I just can't. Mujhe Benji ko airport pick karne jana hai so bye and please kal ajana and bye". Saying so she left hurriedly as she was already quite late. Benji would murder her she was sure of that.
Samrat sat there looking at her retreating figure and smiled widely thinking about his two best friends- Dia and Benji who used to be the worst of enemies but now are the best of companions. He was admiring the pattern of destiny when his thoughts came and stuck on "THEM",yes on the two lost souls- Samrat and Gunjan. He thought of them when they were together...when they were friends...then they become best friends forever and finally their relationship status changed from friends to true lovers and then...he trailed off...Who are they now? What type of relationship are they sharing at present? Will they ever meet again? Can they again be together? He closed his eyes and jerked all the thoughts out of his mind and opened them again as he knew that there was no us in between them anymore. It was only you and me that too very very far away. He picked up his cell and keys from the table and zoomed off.

Cool breeze blowing with tides roaring and making its way towards the shore only to be blocked up mountain like rocks breaking its momentum and making the waves return to where they belong that is the sea. There she stood in a white knee length frock watching the sunset that made her feel relaxed and she was calm by that time. She sat on the rock while water was touching her feet and she looked at it deeply trying to connect it with her own being. She recalled its movement and smiled sarcastically as she could relate it to her.
She was the element of existence...the source of other's happiness just like the water but at that time she was happy and contented as life gave her reasons to smile but then all of a sudden her life took a drastic turn and here she is today lonely and sad as no matter how hard she tries but it seems that happiness has forgotten the way to her house. She lost that shine in her eyes...the glint that used to make her smile all the more enchanting because of the glow on her face.
She sighed as she had no control over whatever happened. Destiny played its part making her wonder why,what,when,how it happened? She looked at the beautiful sunset that at least made her admire nature. She kept looking at the sunset until the sky changed its colour and she quickly drove off owing to her fear of the dark.
It still haunts her.

After reaching home she got a text from Dia which said "Are you free right now?" to which Gunjan replied "Yeah, I am". After just a couple of seconds she received a call from her sister.
"Hey so excited for the party?"
"Yeah kind of".
"Gunjan come on thoda tou excitement show karo na". Dia told her to be a little excited at least.
"Haan Dia main excited hoon shayad..". She trailed off and got lost in her own thoughts.
"Shayad? Gunjan don't tell me k tum phirse..." Dia tried to reason with her but she cut her in between.
"Yehi life hai Dia and to survive one needs to adopt the changes in life and I guess I am pretty much capable of doing it now. Secondly you know na sweetie k main hardly parties attend karti hoon except the really important ones and this time I am finding a reason to be happy and enjoy with you".
Dia smiled at this and assured her that it will be the most happening party of her life. Gunjan hoped for something better coming her way and so was ready for it.

What will happen in the party? Will it pave a way for Gunjan to be happy or things will turn upside down? Will Samrat and Gunjan be finally able to meet or destiny has some other plans this time around?

How are you all? I hope fine. First of all thanking you all for all the lovely comments that you guys give. It really boasts my morale 😳 but comments that I got this time were really hillarious 🤣 like seriously!! You peple actually thought that I'll make Sajan meetso soon...nah that's not me 😉 How mean of me right? 😈
On a serious note it was demand of the plot as I really wanted to show the friendship element as well. I hope it was worth of waiting and if not then really sorry as I tried to keep Sajan in this update as well.
Moreover I would like to say on behlaf of Sajan writers that they write partially for their ownselves and partially because they need some support. So,I would request you all to give them a chance and read works on Sajan as many people have left the forum even and it hurts to see just a few likes in comparison to the pms sent. Please enourage the writers as we don't want the quantity of writeups to become absolutely zero as Sajan is a couple that writers should write upon. 😳
