well i didnt feel khushi is selfish.. just tht she is indecisive at times... goes with the flow.. nt very strong to hold onto her ot.. if she sees no major prob in the situation.

and Khushi is falling in love with Arnav and she doesn't want Shyam in her life anymore. She realised that Anita didn't know anything. She thought she didn't have an option and Khushi will regret it. She is bad at making decisions. She messes up like all of us do and I understand your point of view but she is only human. She makes mistakes. But I still don't get how that was SELFISH : Selfish is when a person just thinks about herself. She always thinks about everyone including Shyam. She may have made a wrong decision but that doesn't make her selfish!

its difficult to see them in other way

You know I really have to say something right now.

As a regular reader of your story, I am not at all disappointed with the way things have turned out with the previous chapter. Khushi is NOT perfect! I really do not understand why people expect her to just forget about her past with Shyam and try to become Arnav's ideal wife so soon. Its not easy to forget one's first love and even though this is just a story, it still has important messages which you have written beautifully! :)

Like you said Khushi is impulsive and sometimes does not think when she does things but then again, don't we all have those moments? Shyam was her first love, it's really hard to just get over it and move on especially if you've been forced to move on. I never disliked your version of Khushi, In fact I think this is the BEST version I've read! And trust me, this is coming from a total no-biased person!

I do not understand why most of the people got so upset with her dancing with Shyam? I for one rejoiced in the fact that finally we would get to see a jealous and possessive Arnav who i absolutely ADORE! ;)

i really do not understand how you got so much of criticism, but each to their own and as a writer myself, I completely respect their views. I just tend to get a teensy bit defensive over stuff i love... ;)

Coming to Arnav's character, I'm awfully surprised that not alot of people commented on his character! After all, he had a dark past as well! Then again, don't we all have a past? While the show was going on, I had already predicted that his past would relate to his parents and the topic of infidelity...which i wasn't too pleased with! Your Arnav gave me closure to something which has left me displeased with! So thank you to that! :)

I LOVE Shyam! Okay I know you would not have heard too many of comments like that but it is true! I find his obsessive personality and psychotic nature incredibly fascinating and you've managed to pull a sophisticated version of his character which the show lacked! So hats off to you! Looking forward to reading more for his character and his different shades! :D

Just to let you know, this is by far the most detailed comment i have ever left for anybody on this forum...! I absolutely LOVE this story! And i never ever want it to end! SO you better keep writing because you need to know that you're amazingly talented and i think you're the only person who could bring out the complicated HUMAN feelings out of these beautiful characters!

As always, Looking forward to reading the next chapter and of course a drunk Arnav Singh Raizada =

khushi is a simple girl from a middle class who is very fun loving but her sudden marriage has changed her...
She has turned into a matured girl who knws wat to do nd wat not to do...
Her dancing wit shyam,well i guess she could have easily made an excuse but i think seeing shyam in front of her nd still feeling a little guilty for making him suffer she could not thnk properly nd accepted to dance wit him...!
I thought arnav will b there to stop her from dancing asking her to dance wit him but he was not ther rather he was drinking nd was going green in jelousy...
Abt other characters,well they r perfct...
So i am happy wit watever d story is going...
Waiting for d nxt chappy now 😳

CS helping me to understand the main leads.
Khushi is just a simple girl whose all decision was always taken by her buaji, her only guardian so she is not a good decision maker in big problems. It happens. Even i am also like khushi in this decision making.
So she was not able to refuse when shyam asked her for dance. Even at that time arnav was not there to help her. So she ended up in dancing with shyam.

Now about shyam it was crystal clear from your few updated that he will never hurt khushi. He is some kind of obsessed lover. I too just don't found him so bad.

Now about arnav he is a perfect man but not from the start. A girl named anjali changed him. He is a workholic.

So i am now nearly able to understand the each characters.

i m a new reader and loved the chapters aweome i really could not understand khushi's character and after u portrayed her sketch now i understood u wanted it that way...atleast u could have given positive cs for arnav all were neagtive points ...shyam is obessed how can u say he is positive he might not hurt khushi but he would surely hurt everyone else an obessed lover is like a psycho killer ya totally understood the circumstances he was in...
