Part 4

' shyam'

She said and collapsed on the ground crying out. He sat beside her trying to calm her but she push his hands away. She calmed herself and wipe her tears and took a deep breath and started while arnav listened to her keenly..

Kushi: shyam lives in my neighborhood..ive seen him many times stalking me and giving me different looks which made me uncomfortable..he used to follow everywhere I go..gym, college, park, where ever I go..i so hate him and after some days he disappeared. I was so relieved..and I got the biggest shock of my life. He joined my college as a lecturer. He tried to mis behave with me many times..her voice was detoriating ..her voice hitched..the images of him just disgusted her..the flashes where he tried to touch her choked her heart..tears streamed her face. She gripped his hand for strength. All the time arnav pressed his palm on her assuring her that he is with her..she continued

Kushi: he tried to touch me..arnav fisted his other palm in anger..he just want to punch the person right on his nose..i always tried to get rid of me but I couldn't..i did not tell to anyone about this. And one day he came and proposed me'its actually not a proposal..kushi wiped her tears, exhaling difficultly and replied ' he asked me to sleep with him'

That's it arnav's anger knows no bound..how dare that bas***d..who is he? How come he didn't knew anything about this. His anger is piling up, he sat patiently to listen to the complete story

Kushi: I denied..in fact I slapped him. His ego is hurt..three days back when I was going to my friends house..he..he kidnapped me..i don't remember anything..not a single bit..i clearly remember my head hit by someone..and I opened my eyes found myself in a dark room..and I was kidnapped by shyam. I was locked in a dark room..he warned me and threatened to marry me. And the other night..he , kushi gathered all her strength and continued..he tried to force himself on me..

Her head was dig deeply in her chest and legs folded. Arnav's anger fumed to bits.

Kushi: devi mayya ki kripa se nothing happened to me. Those people are beasts not humans. But ramu kaka is there. He works along with them. He was forced to work. He showed me way out and I escaped. But they found out and followed me..i ran and ran..and bumped into you..

She wipe her tears and looked at his boiled face

Kushi: now if they find me , they will kill you too arnav ji..aap please chalejayiye'this is my problem..and I will solve it myself

These words made arnav more angry. How can he leave her? How can he think it doesn't matter to him? How can she think he will leave her? He just want to pin her to some tree and blast her but NO. she is in distress. He held her face and told determining

Arnav: damn don't say that kushi. once offered my hand for you..and I will never leave it. No matter who comes in between. Be it shyam or ram. I will be her for you to protect and keep you safe.

She just stood still studying his words who is this person? A knight? A guard? A friend? an angel? Or a savior? Why is he helping here? Why is he paying for her. She just did not find any other way . she don't even what to know what he thinks. She hid herself in his chest , poking hern ails into his skin. Arnav embraced her within him. Its hug of promise, a hug of comfort...telling someone that he is with her no matter storms hit them or the oceans rise.

She pulled back and looked to the ground. She was actually dizzy and tired. No food no shelter..its really hard to survive. He helped her to sit down near the fire place. It was heavily breezing. He wrapped his arms around her to give her warmth. She did not stop him cos she trusts him. Slowly she drifted to sleep on his shoulders.

It was mid night. There was silence except the sounds of nature. Her face was so angelic while asleep. She snored slowly, like she slept after an year. Her head leaned on his shoulder, her hair strands falling on her temples. Her face had something, innocence, the peaceful and serene dreams blocking out the dangers of the outside. How did she go through this all alone? The way she ran for his help while he was on his way to nanital flashed before him. If he wouldn't be there? The small thought killed him. How come he never knew about this? He glanced at her peaceful eyes and said to himself that he will not let anyone harm her from now'looking at her angelic face, he himself didn't knew when he fell asleep.

The morning rays shook kushi. she blinked her eyes. She was leaned comfortably to a hard body. She rubbed her eyes like a cute kid and stretched her arms yawning. Her hands hit a chest. Her eyes widened into white. There lied arnav with his head leaning on to the tree wall, his hairs resting on his temples. She just felt the scene adorable. She then reliased she slept on his shoulders whole night and he didn't even complain about it. A smile appeared on her face. And the sun was too much. The light of the sun fell on his face making him frown, disturbing his sleep. What if he wakes up? Kushi thought with her hands on her waist. She removed her torn duppatta. There are some holes but atleast it will obstruct the sun to touch him. She tied it to the two trees and now the shadow occupied their place. She took small tiny footsteps seeing that he wont get disturbed.

She is seeing an other side of him today. His sleep..just like a kid with a pouting mouth. Unknowingly her hands reached his hair to ruffle them. at the moment her hand rested on his hair arnav jerked up from the sleep. Kushi was shocked. What is she doing actually? Arnav narrowed his eyes looking at her hand on his temples. Kushi pulled back instantly and faced the other side not wanting to show her blushed face. Her heart rate thumping. Why did she do it? Arnav smiled at her guesture. He so dreamed every night of waking up in her arms while she is patting his hair. He also saw the duppata tied against them so that the sun wont disturb him. He found it very sweet. The thought of kushi falling for him gave him limitless joy. He decided to play with her

Arnav: kushi what are you doing? He asked with his one of the eye brow frowned charmingly and his hands folded across his chest. Kushi stammered she played with her curls to act as normally as possible. She replied airing her nail paint

Kushi: kya'kuch bhi toh nai..with a broad smile

Arnav tugged his lips and took a step forward towards her making kushi bit her lips

Arnav: oh really? But what were your hands doing here?

He said pointing his fingers at his hair. Kushi closed her eyes feeling helpless. Never she had felt like this. He was so near her and she was bracketed to the tree.

Kushi: who'there were leaves on ur head..so I was just taking them off..

He can see her breath changing and nervous. Not wanting to trouble her more he moved out of her way. Kushi let a breath out. Beside him, its like her breath will stop anytime.

Arnav: its almost 2 days kushi..we need to find the way out..he said setting his hair.

Kushi nodded. What will happen today? Where will they go now? Arnav noticed her thoughts and went near her and forwarded his hand

Arnav: do you trust me?

It was such a sweet gesture. Not only sweet but of confidence. Kushi nodded and gave her hand in his. Arnav smiled assuring her And they both started walking.

They walked for almost two hours. They were so hungry. Kushi was almost collapsing when they a heard some music and noises. First they were scared whether they are shyams men. They followed the sound and finally landed on a road. They walked a bit further with a ray of hope to find anyone other than the goons. Kushi was walking with utmost difficulty. She needed defently something..otherwise she would die. Arnav held to her not allowing her to fall.

The sound lead them to a dabha. Seems like it's a small village. Seeing dabha a broad smile appeared on kushi's face

Kushi: hayee'.khana!!

The childish cheer on her face made arnav admire her. She is mature as well as a child. Her mouth watered just by the smell of the delicious food.but'

Kushi: arnav ji..we lost our bag too..humare pass paise bhi nahin hai ab??

She pouted her mouth, tears almost withered from her glassy eyes. Arnav stood thinking but they caught the attention of the dabha owners who were a Punjabi couple

Lady: aree puthar?? What happened to you? You are so weak?

She concern held kushi and made her sit on the bench near by. The lady's husband too rushed there gave them both big glasses of water. Kushi drank all of them in a go. She was so tired out. The man observed them both and asked

Man: look like you were lost in the jungle. You okay now?

Arnav nodded his head while kushi replied

Kushi: ji..woh kuch log humre peecha karre the aur..

Before even she could complete the lady squealed

Lady: haaye'yeh dono lovers hai..apne pyar ke liye ladre..hai naa..bhagwaan aapko saari kushi dey..( loll sorry for my poor hindi and Punjabi thing'I suck in this)

Kushi mouth formed a perfect O. arnav heart mentally jumped. He felt it very good hearing he and kushi were lovers..but he did not show that joy out. A deep shade covered kushi's cheeks. But she hid it too

Kushi: nahin'wohh'

Man: don't get shy puthar. I know..all girls are like this only..they fall in love but is so shy to express it.

Hearing his words arnav gaze fixed at kushi while she looked at him from the corner of his eyes. Do she love him? Really? But how? He has been in love with her since months. But does she? All the thoughts appeared in his mind was kushi was just blank. She don't know anything bot this love but one thing she feels is a strong emotional connection between them which is far beyond than friendship..she just couldn't name this feeling. Their thoughts were disturbed by the lady

Lady: achaa puttar. Stop being shy. Go and get freshen. The wash rooms are right over there.. by the time you come I will make khana ready ..but arnav stopped them

Arnav: par humare paas paise..

The man patted his head and replied

Man: paise nahin chahiye beta. Seeing you both I get remembered of my young days where I fell in love with her and ran away from home. That time no one helped us. But now we are here for you. God bless you both.

With that he blessed them placing his hands on them. Kushi and arnav felt awkward and embarrassed but they don't have any option. The lady led kushi to the wash while the man led arnav. But their eyes were fixed on each other not wanting to leave each other...

full of Mystery+Thriller+cute sweet romance ... LOved it...

we came to know about who kidnapped khushi and why ... that psycho Shyam ... 😡😡😡

but how did Arnav khew her before this incident whn Khushi was sure she doesn't met him before...

but the cute sweet moment they have shared were have mesmerizing affect ... i adored those moments ... u wrote down those so beautifully...
