How saiyara became hit
Firstly sorry I couldn't come to un-Res earlier than this, J. Busy weekend and the fact that I need more than normal time to comment on this story because this is by far the most emotionally charged story I am reading at the moment.
The first part of the chapter for me was Sheetal and no one else. The woman turns out to be a stand up character – with enough spunk to take what the man she wants offers but not when it being offered because HE has a point to prove to himself or some other girl. A woman who was strong enough to call a spade a spade and show Arnav Singh Raizada the mirror that strips him of his anger and shows what he has become in the wake of the past – a selfish, almost petty man who wouldn't stop at anything to extract revenge in the instinctively most hurtful way. Yes, he doesn't' understand if this was "revenge" – it was – a way to hurt just as much as he was hurt.
And that brings me to the next part – the journey of this man himself.
Look what he has done. Yes, she made a mistake in the past. A huge one – one that his sister paid with her life for.
And yet, he is pulled to her. And that is why he punishes her because it angers him that she is able to do that to him. What is to say that his anger and resentment hasn't given her that power? What is to say that it is he who has put her in a place where she matters more than anything else – her presence, and her absence.
This is truly becoming the story of an impossible situation, J.
And this brings me to the most important question – a couple that is at the brink of love and hate – and one as strong as this – what sort of a relationship will they ever have? Does true forgiveness exist? Will a dead sister ever really fade away to being just a memory – burying the reason behind her death in something stronger? Will the evidence of the brother who lived on and found his own heaven ever really be something he can see, stomach and even accept?
I hate trying to fit fiction – especially romantic fiction into real life because well, asli duniya mein dil toot-te hi hain, but maybe this is level of feeling that you are able to generate with this story that I am thinking of them as real people with the possibility of a real future.
Sigh, J – Sigh. I now ask the eternal kostin - Kyun Dard Hai Itna?
