The surprise Arjun received to see a grim faced lone man, though a brother-in-law and a friend welcoming him without any smile as though it was an unwelcome task pierced through bursting his balloon of happiness. The way Krishna rushed, the silent exchange between the driver and Krishna for taking a detour, admonishing him for giving a glad face on seeing the media in front of the house, at home KBV, Arnav and Khushi in misery along with Suraj all were ominous and when asked he was given a five finger salute by Krishna who had held his composure till then. Biting out, that the six members of the family were now in the nether world all thanks to his past deeds he informed Arjun that he had lost his wife, kid and his mother along with his sister and nieces in the mishap . Krishna barring Arnav from stopping him, gave him resounding slaps saying this should have been served to him way back in the beginning when every time he had brought Arjun home after his bad deeds and it might have saved the innocent lives now!
Khushi seems to be the one who holds things together for all. When Krishna sees her copious tears he stopped short of pummeling Arjun. When Arjun is shunted to his room the last person whom he sought solace from was Meethi as he knew she had never shunned him so far like others, though this time it was in vain as she too pounced on him saying due to his deeds even his unborn child never saw the daylight and it was of seven lives and not six that he had the blood on his hands. KBV though tried to console his Meethi was also seeking comfort from her with the loss of his progeny, daughters and a sister. Arjun is warned by KBV that he would never be able to take advantage of this tragedy and that meant he might as well kiss a goodbye to his political career, for which he had cut short his de-addiction program as per his Tayaji's instructions. He was unequivocally told that all the reasons to handle him gingerly had gone now along with his mother, wife and kid. It was a warning to Arjun to go along with the rest of his family or else face some tough decisions that would follow. It was also a clear statement where his real support base lay, not the visible one that eggs him to do things as he had thought. Suraj who took Arjun to his room gives him the bitter truth that he is all alone to savour the fruit of his deeds, as he himself was reaping for his sins committed earlier. This reminds me of a saying from Harikatha that I had heard in my childhood. In a marriage all in good deeds done by husband wife has an equal share and in all bad deeds he alone is the recipient. In all good deeds of the wife it is she alone the recipient and in all her bad deeds her husband has an equal share! 😆
Then enters the pompous Tayaji who is there to offer condolences to the bereaved saying he too is part of the family and getting the mileage out of it! His presence rips to shred all the veneer of not being aware of his deeds and a bitter pill is administered to him that just because they kept quiet it does not mean they are unaware and they too would strike back now if he ever attempts to do anything further. He is made aware of his past deeds being under the cloak of invisibilty was not because of his attempts for it to be so but because they deem it to be so. It would be an all out war. KBV telling him that he was not bound by decorum like Arnav to take any action was a clear warning sounding like the counch call (Panchajanya) of Lord Krishna that used to be the death call of his opponent. Is it? 😈
Once the huffing Vijayendra went puffing and thinking, like the wolf of the red riding hood, of ways to blow down the house of this branch of Raizadas, the rest plan to get things straightened out. Each member is assigned to various duties. KBV's instructions that Lavanya and Khushi be housed in Arnav's farm house with security beefed up is quite ominous. They are the only two females remaining of his family and he knew that they would be the next. Lavanya has already been attempted once. He asks Suraj for parallel investigations to be conducted for this incident. One thing that KBV has seen from this incident was that though his son was not flamboyant in his expression or ways, he was rock solid any father could be proud of. His pride swelled to see the sons of his family, Krishna, Arnav and Suraj all hold themselves together. He like a true Patriarch stood tall at the time of crisis without letting his emotions over rule at the loss, thought of all the things that needed to be done.
Meanwhile Malik comes to know of the Vijayendra's mole in KBV office and frets he should have informed KBV of it earlier itself! He needs to warn Arnav of Vijayendra's plans for Khushi at her school. He realizes that when part of family is bent on giving something to the society, the other is hell bent on putting spanner to the works! Getting signal from Khan that digging out each and every info against Vijayendra and Viren was the need of the hour makes him delighted to be of service . Khan is informed that Lavanya's assailant has been taken care off by Vijayendra for doing a hotch-potch job and to erase leads. Malik gives a clue now how Khushi had always been Vijayendra's target. Maybe in this mishap she was the real one but had a lucky escape. That is why her school project was being picked as a target and she better keep a low profile. For Vijayendra, Son Shining was only India Shining and to achieve that he would do anything!😡
Like Khan I too had been wondering why Suraj always sent Khan when Khushi was at school site. Now I get the answer. He was protecting her! I knew it was protective gesture but the reason is now clear. I had asked this long back and had written it looked like protective gesture but the one that irritated Khushi. I had thought she was being protected from Viren, but looks like it was from Vijayendra all the time.
Armed with files Khan is all set to pass it on to Suraj and the verse from Holy Quran is apt.
This has gone like a runaway engine giving a run for Thomas the Tank engine! I myself can't believe it! 😲 Should I repeat loved the update??? 😉
