I know a simple sorry won't cut it, so I'll just say it rather quickly ('Sorry') and attempt to appease you with a good enough comment.

First things first, you have no idea how much the dedication means to me. I don't deserve it, there is no denying that but it pleasures me all the same that such a talented writer like you would even think about deriving any sort of inspiration from my work. I...just...Thank you.

Ahem, moving on to the story. I did tell you before that I had lost all interest in SwaRon and reading anything about them just didn't appeal to me anymore. That still holds true. But the thing is, somehow, I didn't think of them once while I was reading the chapter. And I think that says it all. I'd rather not associate any SwaRon-y feel with any of your works. Your works are way too brilliant.

Somehow, I don't find this story dark. I've read some of your darker works and this isn't one of them. Sure, there is death and pain but somehow the solidarity between your two main protagonists eclipses all of that. There is something very hopeful about the way they interact. It tells you that friendship transcends all inhibitions. It does not succumb to the powers of Time. It has a stand of its own.

Your stories flow. There is no abruptness in them which is a very fine quality. The details are sharp and humour is prominent throughout the chapter. It's light and well-crafted.
