The issue you are addressing here is very sensitive and I really applaud your taking this up...this is one thing which is still stuck to our society and even well educated people who defy other superstitions continue to believe in this & abide by the restrictions because it actually cripples your forward-thinking process in a way only those affected will understand...I trust your sensibilities as an author and I am sure you will do justice to this issue here in our Arshi story...I personally believe that true love triumphs all...what you feel for each other trumps everything else...

Coming to the update: I dont think Khushi should have agreed to marry Shyam...I am not saying she should protest against her parents asking her to see other men...I am not saying she should have put her life on hold for Arnav to come clean with his feelings...but the smart woman that she is, she should have acted wiser and asked for some time...atleast to be more sure of her & Arnav...to sort out her feelings...coz where she is now, she feels very strongly for him...(and has been feeling this way for so many years!) and Arnav dont you dare blame her ...because you have been silent for too long mate!

nice update. but this is sad... how are they going to get past this one.. had to look up the definition.

"A Major Complication" --- when I read this I knew this chapter was not going to go easy...

The start was very nice and absolutely realistic... It was natural that he kissed her taking dominance to make up for the frustrations he would have had for past 2 years... I loved the way he cribbed about not having a proper place to Kiss her and how thankful he felt for not having iron sliding door elevators...

I love your Khushi and you know it... All she wanted was just that assurance of love from him to gather her strength and make up her mind... Poor girl she still does not think that Shyam could have had his ugly hands in setting up this entire fiasco... I seriously doubt Shyam in this though... 2 years is not short time... It would have been really depressing for her to live with uncertainty of being loved and to add upon she had this really irritating alliance n marriage talks... With no one to share her feelings and talk her mind, I am sure this girl would have gone through hell... But she did carry through with sense and waited for him to come back to clear his stand... and now I am happy that she has reached her shore of strength... I would have loved if she had outrightly refused to see shyam in the first place... She should have told her parents that she can never see shyam in that light and refused the proposal outright...

I am at peace, as Chaitu I know you will make these two people fight against all odds as one... You have created two individually strong characters who are deeply rooted in love and feelings for each other since their teens... when someone falls in love with their first serious crush, i feel that love is for life...

Cant wait to hear out Arnav once Khushi finishes her side of story...

I thought status disparity would be the reason, and Arnav's dad would be the problem! BUt if Manglik is teh reason then even Arnav's mom and NAni would be against it!! GOD!! I can't wait to get to the EVENTUALLY part!!

LOVE IT!!!!!!!! Perfectly said for Arnav.. But do you have any confirmations on the fact that he got no action back in Harvard... Vinu dont jump into conclusions when you are talking about ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA... The name says it all...😉
