Next Morning

Khushi had just come out from the Guest room giving Anjali her bed tea.. The moment she came out, she saw her husband coming back from his morning Jog and walking inside their room. She rushed behind him and opened the room door.. He was drinking water while searching his towel for getting his Shower. She moved him aside and handed the Towel to him..

Arnav: Thanks.. And (He kissed her forehead once).. Good Morning Khushi..

Khushi: Good Morning..

Arnav: Had a good sleep last night? (He asked teasingly as he knew it wasnt possible. Afterall they were in middle of something really nice between them when Anjali interrupted..)

Khushi (Hiting his chest ligtly): Stop teasing Arnav.. Get your Shower quickly. I will make some breakfast for us..

Saying that she was leaving but he held her wrists and pulled her back to place.. before him..

Arnav: Hey wait.. Is Anjali di OKay?

Khushi: (Nodded a yes): She is.. I never expected she would come late at night..

Arnav : hmm..

Khushi :Now should I go? Di would need her breakfast soon. She and the baby shouldnt be made to wait for long..

She tried moving when he held her more tight on her wrist and this time, slid his arm on her waist, tucking it more close to him..

Arnav: And what about me? Arent you making me wait for long? Im hungry too.. (He nuzzled his nose on her ear and she just gasped at this behaviour of her husband)

Khushi (Breathing hard): Arnav please. Some days.. After that we will back to our normal life.. Di doesnt come here often.. Cant I stay with her for some days.. If you dont mind.. Please??

Arnav sighed and left her hand ..

Arnav: Okay.. !! As you wish.. !! ermm Khushi.. did she tell anything about what made her come here all of a sudden? I mean there has to be some reason..

Khushi: COme on Arnav.. She is my sister.. And she was planning to stay with Mumma.. But as she is out, she thought of staying with me.. Whats so wrong in it?

Arnav: Nothing wrong Khushi.. I just asked if she is allright.. I mean if she had some issues or fights with Shyam which made her come here?

Khushi : I don't think so Arnav.. Jeejaji is not so rude to fight with his pregnant wife .

Arnav : I didn't mean to scare you Khushi. You never know some silly issues or disappointments.

Khushi: I dont know. She didnt tell me anything.. I will try to find out myself.. OKay??

He noded and left for his shower while Khushi rushed down for getting the breakfast ready..

Arnav came down to find Anjali helping Khushi on the breakfast table. He was ready and dressed up for his office.Anjali looked totally different from yesterday night. The tiredness and weariness was missing. She was fresh and clear. She seems to be really happy with her little sister's acquaintance. He felt happy seeing the siblings bond but the reason for her visit still raising many questions inside him especially with the entry of Shalini into Raizada Mansion has really made him cautious.

Arnav smiled at them and took his place in the dining table.

Arnav : Good Morning Di.. how are you feeling now ?

Anjali : Good Morning .. I m fine .. Wont you wish your wife ?

Khushi came near him filling his plate and replying her..

Khushi : Di..Never that can happen. We both of us cant start our morning without wishing each other..

Anjali smiled at her while Arnav continued to watch her reactions.. She seems to be so normal.

Khushi : Why di ? Wont Jeejaji wish you first in the morning?

Anjali stopped having her food and looked away hiding her reactions to her sister which was clearly noticed by Arnav.. He wanted this to continue to know exactly what was happening between them. Khushi was continuously talking without noticing her. Khushi suddenly choked the food and started coughing badly. Arnav soon rushed towards her caressing her back comforting her by lifting her head to face upwards. He took the glass of water made her drink. His worrying expression was worth to watch by Anjali. Arnav's spontaneous reaction oblivious to her presence amazed her.

Arnav : cant you stop talking while having food ? What if it had got into your respiratory tube dammit?

Khushi (pouting) : I didn't expect..

Arnav : Fine.. Don't talk now.. Just have the food and get ready its getting late.

Anjali :umm.. KHushi.. Im also coming with you to the office.

Khushi and Arnav were shocked looking at each other's eyes.

Khushi : But di.. you don't need to.. You will get tired.

Anjali : No Khushi.. I will get bored. Moreover I wanted to spend sometime with you. Whats the use in staying back here alone not being with you? I will be fine there..

Arnav felt it was right for Khushi to take Anjali with her.. He didn't want her to be alone at home even if the maids are present.

Arnav : Khushi.. Di is right.. I will do one thing. I will drop you both and pick you up both in the evening.. You need not drive the car.

Saying Arnav left the table after finding out something strange. Anjali was insisting on continuously be with Khushi. Was it because of the fear or is she feeling some sort of loneliness?

AR Office

Arnav was unable to concentrate on anything.. He was still thinking on the possible reasons what made Anjali come to his house last night.. Was really everything okay in Raizada Mansion? He thought of asking this to someone.. He dialed Akash who instantly answered his call..

Arnav: Akash.. Is all fine there at home?

Akash: Yes Bhai.. Why? What happened?

Arnav: Nothing.. Anjali di came to our house last night.. She is staying with us for some days she said..SO I thought may be something happened there which made her come to us..

Akash: Ohh Yes. I too came to know about this today morning while breakfast.. Shyam told everyone that Anjali is with you people.. It seems she needed some change from her daily routine here.. And Shyam didnt wanted to deny her .. So ..!!

Arnav: Hmm.. Well if thats the thing, I have no issues.. Anyways.. take care.. Will ring you later..

He cut the call after talking some business matters. He shrugged his thoughts and continued his work.

Raizada Mansion

NK finished his final packing and asked HP to get all the bags down. He was leaving for London again this time for his work and would be coming back to Delhi only after one month or even more.. The family was used to such business trips of their Sons.. They knew how important all this was and hence they never interfered.. Especially after NK had been to London he was much interested in developing their overseas business.. He had informed how important was his visit and it did rile up Shyam though he didn't show much of it. The main reason behind all his brothers against him should be Arnav he knew..When asked about suggestions of NK's trip to London he didn't bother to answer anyone. He knew it was better for him to stay back and see the downfall of his enemy than enjoying his time in London.

Lavanya wanted to talk to NK.. He didnt even inform her about this trip of his.. She came to know it from the other family members today morning.. These days She came late from her shoots and by the time she came back.. She was hardly getting time to even talk to anyone.. After his return She wished to talk to NK today but here he was least interested in even saying her a Good Bye.. The moment she came inside, he rushed out talking to someone on call purposely.. She was very much upset seeing him ignoring her like this.. She walked behind him to stop him but the entire family presence downstairs made it difficult for her to react much.. NK touched the elders feet and then hugged his Daadi tight..

NK: Daadi.. When I come back I want you to be fit and fine..!! OKay?

Daadi: I will be NK.. You make sure you too take care of your health there. You wont have your wife to worry about it there.. So..!!

Everyone laughed and Lavanya's eyes did fill with tears which she hide from others.. NK was only tongue tied.. How would he tell the family that even when his wife is with him, she hardly cares for his health.. Ignoring such hurting thoughts, he finally left the house for the Airport.. Everyone were dispersing back to their rooms when Daadi spoke..

Daadi: Where is ANjali? I havnt seen her since morning..

Payal: Daadi.. She is not here.. She has gone to stay with Arnav and Khushi for some days.. Just for a change..

Daadi was confused.. Change? What kind of change she needed? And why to Arnav and Khushi? She had a whole family here.. Even her own sisters Payal and Lavanya were here.. Then why did she go there? Was it some plot of Shyam to send her purposely there to disturb Arnav and Khushi' s privacy? Whatever it was, she didnt like it.. She walked back to her room and so did Payal and Lavanya.. Every step that Lavanya took back to her room, she could feel the loneliness in her heart.. How much NK had changed after marriage.. He wasnt like this before.. Every small thing he did , he used to inform her before.. And now, after marriage, he was behaving like he never loved her..

FLASHBACK STARTS

It was those wonderful days when they both were so much smitten by each other. NK would never miss a chance to meet Lavanya. He took time for his dates giving her surprises which really made her happy..

Lavanya laughed hearitly hearing this and NK could only look at her in surprise..

NK: Whats so much to laugh in this? I am really going out Lavanya..

Lavnaya (Controling her laugh): When did I say you arent ..??

NK: Then what made you laugh so much?

Lavanya leaned her head on his shoulder and pulled him close to her..

Lavanya: You are going out for 2 days and you are still telling me all this as if you wont meet me for weeks..

NK (Pulling her chin up): That shows how much I am going to miss you baby..!! You know I cant even stay a day without seeing this face and that dimple when you smile..

Lavanya got tears in her eyes hearing this.. She hugged him tight and he continued...

NK: I will miss you like Hell La.. Trust me..!!

Lavanya: Me too NK.. More than you infact.!!

FLASHBACK END

Lavanya was in tears remembering this scene.. It looked like their Love life had taken a 180 degree turn and she wasnt comfortable with it. What was the fault in their relationship? Why didn't their wavelength work out ? What was the reason ? The questions which she had skipped all these days were hovering around her nagging for answers.. She surely gave it a thought.. A clear precise solution had to be found.

AR Office

Arnav dialed Khushi to check where she was. He had to pick her up and was travelling towards her office... After almost 3 rings someone did answer and it wasnt Khushi.. But Shalini..

Shalini: Hello Arnav...!!

Arnav (Angrily): Whats her phone doing with you ? Where is she?

Shalini: Relax.. She is in a meeting and there wasnt anyone to answer this call .. So seeing the caller, I thought why shouldn't I take this on her behalf?

Arnav: When is her meeting getting over? (He was trying to stick to the point)

Shalini: Not sure.. But you can pass your lovely messages to me.. I will pass it on to her.. Its always so nice to hear such cute words from your husky voice.(She said biting her own lips feeling happy teasing Arnav like this..)

Arnav (Gritting his teeth in anger): Shut up Shalini.. Dont forget if you continue this crap between us like this, I wont mind showing you the right place..!!

Shalini smiled and continued irritating him in her usual way..

Shalini : Oh really? What would you try to do then?

Arnav : Don't forget what had happened in London.. I wont spare you if you ever try to come between me and Khushi.. this time you would surely see that worst side in me.

Shalini: I dont understand what have you seen in Khushi so much Arnav that you forgot me so easily.. Keep walking away from me, I wont mind it, know why?? (She chuckled and continued).. Because a day would come soon when you will come back to me.. And this time.. FOREVER..!! (She laughed sarcastically)

Arnav: Not even in your dreams!! I know to keep you in your place and better you get that into your head.. (He cut the call getting frustrated of her talks.)

Shalini did cut the call and turned back to see Khushi and Anjali getting into the cabin. She kept the mobile aside which was surely noticed by Khushi. She stared at Shalini controlling her anger not to shout at her infront of her di. He didn't like anyone touching her things especially her mobile. She rushed to find who the caller was.. As expected it was Arnav. She dialed him.

Arnav : Where the hell were you ? Why cant you take the damn mobile with you for the meeting?

Khushi understood that the reason for his anger should be the lady standing infront of her..Shalini thought Khushi would turn a least suspicious but she was smiling and talking to Arnav..

Khushi : Baby.. sorry..It was an urgent meeting.. Have you reached? Im coming down with Di in a minute.

Saying she cut the call and turned to face Shalini..

Khushi : Shalini who gave you rights to touch my mobile?

Shalini shuddered at the sudden anger which came over her. Anjali tried to convince her.

Anjali : Khushi .. Its just your mobile. Infact she helped you by picking up the call. Why do you get angry at her? Shalini.. don't mind she is a bit possessive from the childhood . She hates people taking her possessions especially if she it is so close to her.

The meaning was underlined.. Her look at Shalini confirmed her possessiveness towards Arnav too. Ignoring her presence she packed her things to leave with Anjali.

The car journey was too swift. His anger was clearly visible through his eyes though he seem to keep his cool infront of Anjali. They reached home and Anjali got out of the car with Khushi's help. KHushi asked her to carry on and waited for Arnav to park his car. She moved in with him walking beside holding his arms to test his temperament.. He was so hot in anger.. She pursed her lips to control her smile to see the flaring nose back..She stopped him in between holding her ears apologetically with a pouting face.

Khushi : Sorry sorry.. sorry..

Arnav couldn't control back his smile looking at the cuteness.How much ever anger he can show to anyone he cant resist a smile when he looks at this innocent face asking for apologies. He accepted the apology and dragged her inside.

After dinner they decided to spend sometime chatting about their childhood and memories of how they used to spend time in Lucknow. Arnav was surprised hearing this part of Anjali di who was equally chirpy and jovial as Khushi.. After sometime they got caught into their own world.

Anjali was sitting across the couch reading a book while Khushi was sitting beside Arnav on another couch both working on their laptops.. They were discussing some important matters regarding Khushi's office while Arnav didnt spare a moment by enjoying her touching. Khushi suddenly felt a jerk when his cold hands started caressing her waist through her kurti while he was reacting calm and concentrating on the topic they were discussing. She glared at him sideways by noticing whether Anjali was watching them or not.

Khushi (whispering) :Arnav move.. Di would watch..

Arnav ( whispering back near her ear) : My wife, my hand, my right to touch and even pinch.

Anjali sensed something wrong when Khushi suddenly made some noise jumping on the couch.

Arnav controlled his smirk when he saw his wife trying to manage the situation saying she felt something under her legs.

After a while Khushi dozed on Arnav's shoulder and he too closed his laptop finishing his work. Anjali stood up and tried to wake up Khushi.

Arnav : No di.. its ok.. Dont wake her up.

Arnav : Then are you planning to make her sleep on your shoulders the whole night..

Arnav smiled and slowly stood by placing her head in the couch . He lifted her in his arms swiftly making her comfrortable in his arms when she placed her hands around his neck and her head on his chest.

Arnav : Most of the time she sleeps like this.. I will carry her to your room.. Dont worry.

Saying he kissed Khushi's forehead moving her locks behind her ears admiring the way he used to do everynight. Anjali was getting surprised by each and every gesture of Arnav.. Did this couple love each other so much? She couldn't even believe these were those two who were hesitant to get married a year ago. None the less they have come a long way in their relationship. She bid good night to Arnav and he went back to sleep.Khushi wrapped her arms around her sister, she caressed Khushi's head and comforted in her sleep as she used to do in her childhood days..

Morning

KHushi was taking up Arnav's dress to get ready for office. Arnav came behind her from the washroom catching hold of her back and hugging her.

Arnav: Looks like I have to secretly love my wife from now on..

Khushi : Awww. Why ? No need.. You can surely love the way you want whenever you feel.

Arnav : hmm.. then there rest the case..

Arnav leaned towards her lips while they heard a calling bell.

Arnav chuckled at the shocked irritated expression of Khushi now.

Arnav : Go and check .. It must be your staff Ms. Shalini..

Khushi: Excuse me.. Why do you think of her early in the morning ?

Arnav: umm.. Just like that..

Arnav saw the angry face of Khushi was expecting an attack soon. She began hitting him with the pillow while he ran back to the washroom to escape from her.

Anjali opened the door and got shocked to find Daadi standing at the door.

Anjali : Daadi..

Daadi( smiling) : Yes.. why are you so much surprised Anjali? If you can visit your sister cant I visit my grandson?

Arnav and Khushi was very happy seeing Daadi at the door step. Arnav welcomed her inside and took her inside. Anjali was looking at Khushi who was more excited to receive daadi. Anjali sighed and followed them..

PRECAP

Manorama : Payal.. what is this ? You were never like this before.. Just look at Shalini.. She is working so hard at office and coming back doing house hold chores too. You are at home and you feel so tired.

Payal : Ma.. I was feeling tired from today morning.. I couldn't stand for a second.

Manorama : enough of your excuses Payal. It was such an important tradition. You missed it.

Lavanya : Aunty cant you see her tired state? Is your tradition more important that your daughter in law's health.. She stared at Shalini and continued.. Guests should limit themselves as guests.
