It was a bright sunny morning. Sun rays were falling on armaan and riddhima's room due to which their sleep was getting affected.
Riddhima covered her face with the blanket and sleeps again while armaan reluctantly wakes up as his alarm also starts ringing.
"Yeh college roz roz kyun hota hai sirf Saturday ya sunday kyun nahiin hota. Chal beta ab toh uthna padega varna late ho jaonga or class ke bahar khadey rehna padega" armaan mumbles while stepping out of the bed.
He quickly freshens up and walks downstairs, meet's ananya and anjali and then after talking for few minutes with them he leaves for Gupta Mansion. He wishes padma good morning and then starts walking towards riddhima's room. He enters riddhima's room with a smiling face and walks towards her bed.
"Kitna soti hai yeh ladki or log bolte hain shaadi ke baad ladkiyan badal jati hain, yahan isse dekho kuch bhi badlaav nahiin aya isme pakka kumbkaran ki rishtedaar hai yeh awaaz karo tab bhi nahiin uthti" armaan mumbles.
He is bending down when suddenly he smirks and mumbles "yeh mauka kaise mien haath se jane de sakta hoon".
He bends down and whispers in riddhima's ears "basket aaj hug day hai mien tumhare bagal main late ke tumhe hug karoon".
Riddhima whines in her sleep "sone do na".
Armaan frowns and mumbles "first attempt fail no problem I will try once again I won't lose my hope so easily".
He again bends down and whispers in riddhima's ears "riddhima aaj hug day toh ek warm and loving hug toh banta hai na".
"Kya hai sone do na" riddhima again whines like a child.
"Second attempt also fails very bad armaan you can't even make her say yes very bad. No I will not lose hope i'll again try" armaan mumbles and starts thinking of his next statement.
But instead of saying anything he walks towards the switch board and increases the speed of fan. Since it was a month of February winters were still not over.
With the increase in the fan speed riddhima started feeling cold and huggs her blanket tightly. Armaan has a naughty smile on his face and he walks back towards riddhima's bed.
He bends down and asks "warmness chahiye".
Riddhima unconsciously replies "hhmm".
Armaan smirks and asks "mien tumhe hug kar loo boht warmness milegi". Riddhima again in an unconcious state replies "hhmm".
Armaan smiles and also does a victory dance. He soon walks towards the other side of the bed and sits above the blanket.
Before continuing he questions himself first 'kya mien sahi kar raha hoon vo abhi so rahi hai usse bilkul bhi hosh nhn hai ki mien kya bol raha hoon ya kya kar raha hoon or vo kya reply de rahi hai usse kuch nahiin pata. Will it be good idea if I hug her and wish her hug day and wake her up like this? Will she like this? Above all will she be ok with the closeness? I guess she wouldnt like I should just half hug her and then wish hug day and once she wakes up we can then hug properly lying on bed and hugging her from behind I feel will be too much. Even though we are married and technically doing these things aren't wrong as a husband I can hug my wife but situation here is damn tricky I shouldn't do it'.
Armaan slightly bends down caresses her hair and after few seconds he again bends down this time near her ear and whispers "happy hug day basket".
Riddhima whose back was facing armaan hearing this immediately opens her eyes and turns to face armaan. Riddhima's eyes widen seeing armaan so close to her and she immediately sits on the bed and tucks her hair behind her ear.
Armaan's smile widens seeing riddhima's shy face rather making it awkward he quickly gets up and says "jaldi tayaar ho jana mien neeche wait kar raha hoon".
Saying so armaan leaves riddhima's room and riddhima quickly gets up and moves towards the washroom to get ready.
Riddhima comes down and quickly finishes her breakfast after which both armaan and riddhima bid adieu to padma. Armaan riddhima's car journey was a silent one, none talked with each other. Armaan was concentrating on driving while riddhima was lost in her thoughts.
Riddhima thinks 'Today, we were so close to each but still I didn't feel bad in fact felt butterflies in my stomach. What is this feeling and why am I feeling them?' On the other hand armaan thinks 'kuch bol hi nahiin rahi kya usse ajeeb laga hamari closeness lekin agar aisa hota toh uske chehre pe smile nahiin hoti. Aaj hug day tha toh still ok kal toh kiss day kal kaise manayenge valentine week phir'.
They finally reached college and soon got busy with their classes. Both of them couldn't think anything further and with time and classes they temporary forgot about it as well.
Time passed by and finally it was time for them to leave for their respective homes but rahul and nikki said they have few doubts so suggested for group studies. Everyone agreed and decided that they all will do group study in riddhima's house.
As usual girls were sitting on the bed and boys were sitting on the chairs. They all were reading a chapter after which one of them will explain them in detail. Padma had already kept few snacks and juices for them.
"Arey yeh to boht easy chapter hai" abhimanyu says.
"Easy toh hoga hi tera favourite topic jo hai ab explain kar hume" armaan said.
Meanwhile rahul was thinking 'hum kitne paas hai lekin phir bhi kitne door aaj hug day hai or isse tumhare saath kaise manao'.
On the other hand nikki was smilingly watching abhimanyu who didn't even notice her as he was busy in explaining the topic to everyone. Once abhimanyu finishes explaining the topic everyone sighs.
"Itna simple to tha phir hume itna mushkil kyun laga" Muskaan asks.
"Vo iss liye kyunki teacher ne isse complex karke samjhaya" abhimanyu replies back.
"I swear man they made it so tough for us that I was almost about to skip this topic" armaan says.
Hearing this Riddhima immediately speaks "what you were about to leave this topic? Are you mad this topic is really important how could you even think of leaving this topic?"
Armaan looks at Riddhima for a brief second and says "meri marzi mujhe chodne ka mann kiya isme harz (problem) hi kya hai".
"Harz yeh hai ki tum itna important question chod rahe the yeh question ten marks ke liye aa sakta hai or tum vo kho dete" riddhima says.
"Yaar toh mere marks jate na tum kyun pareshaan ho rahi ho" armaan asks her.
"Mien pareshaan nahiin ho rahi hoon bas tumhe bol rahi hoon" riddhima says.
"Arey mujhe kya padhna hai vo meri marzi hai" armaan asks riddhima in a confuse tone.
"Apni marzi ke chakkar main marks kho dete" riddhima replies back.
Before armaan could reply back every one starts giggling and armaan and riddhima looks at them with confuse look.
"Tum dono miya biwi jaise lad rahe ho" muskaan says and everyone starts laughing hysterically.
"Aisa kuch nahiin hai guys" armaan said while his face was red with embarrassement.
Hearing this all of them laughed even more. Riddhima was just looking towards the floor as if finding something precious.
"Aisa kya nahiin hai" amit asks while entering the room. Seeing him armaan's smile vanishes and a frown comes on his face instead.
"Kuch nahiin" armaan replies irritatedly.
"Arey aise kaise kuch nahiin yeh dono miya biwi jaise lad rahe the" muskaan says.
"Arey bhai miya biwi hai toh miya biwi jaise hi ladenge na" amit says and everyone chuckles at his statement.
As soon as padma leaves armaan speaks "tu pagal hai muskaan anyways aaj ke liye boht ho gaya ab kal padhenge ghar chalte hai late ho raha hai".
RIDDHIMA's ROOM
Riddhima was sitting on her bed and was reading a story book when suddenly her phone vibrates. She picks up her phone and checks who has sent her a message. She smiles seeing the sender's name and quickly reads his message.
A: Are you awake
R: What do you think?
A: Since you have replied its guaranteed that you are awake :P but wait why are you awake? It's midnight you should have slept by now
R: Rofl :P I was reading a very romantic novel and was at climax so will sleep after reading it but wait good I am awake isnt it ;) :P
A: Yeah yeah my gain that you are awake :D hhmm romantic novel ;) do you know which day is today?
R: No why?
A: which kind of romantic novels you read? Buddhu aaj kiss day hai :* ;)
After reading armaan's message riddhima blushes and doesn't reply back as now she was feeling shy also she doesn't know what she should reply back. This also reminded riddhima of their previous kisses and she blushes more, her face was red just like a tomato.
Armaan waited for few minutes but when he didn't get a reply he smirks and starts typing another message.
A: Stop blushing and stop remembering previous kisses :P
Riddhima blushes more after reading his current text message.
"Isse har baar kaise pata chal jata hai ki mien kya soch rahi hoon" riddhima murmurs while typing her reply.
R: Haaww aisa kuch nahiin hai :P
A: I know you ;) but wait you read romantic novels to gain knowledge on how to do romance? :D
R: Haaww no ways I am not like you :P I read because I enjoy reading :)
A: Dont lie and anyways do read that part carefully which describes 'Kiss' in detail because we have to celebrate it ;) Happy Kiss Day :*
Riddhima immediately closes her eyes and tries to calm herself. She doesn't knows how to reply back now as now she is completely tongue tied after seeing his message.
R: Same to you and goodnight and sweet dreams take care see ya
A: kya hua? Sharma gayi ;) waiting for tomorrow morning ;) Goodnight and dream about our kiss ;)
Riddhima shakes her head and mumbles "yeh nahiin sudhrega".
She keeps her phone on the side table and without replying back she sleeps. On the other side armaan knew riddhima won't reply back so he too kept his phone on the side table and then sleeps.
Armaan wakes up and immediately stops his alarm clock from ringing further. He then gets up from his bed and goes to washroom to get ready. He walks down to the dining room where he as usual find's ananya and anjali laying the breakfast on the table.
He hugs both of them and while hugging anjali he asks her in her ear "how was your kiss day".
Anjali starts coughing while armaan grin's, ananya quickly gives a glass of water to anjali.
"You ok beta" ananya asks anjali who nods her head in 'yes'.
Armaan knows if he stays here for long ananya will start asking him questions so to avoid them he quickly says a bye to them and leave for Gupta mansion.
Before leaving he winks at anjali and she turns red. Armaan enters gupta house with a smiling face and sees padma arranging the breakfast on table.
"Good morning padma aunty" armaan wishes her.
Padma looks at armaan and smiles. "Aa gaya aaj itna khush kyun dikh raha hai kuch baat hai kya"
"Nahiin koi baat nahiin hai mien to bas aise hi smile kar raha tha"
"Hhmm ja jake pehle riddhima ko utha le mien tab tak nashta laga deti hoon"
"Ji" armaan says and happily walks towards riddhima's room.
He enters riddhima's room and stares at a sleeping riddhima. After few seconds he smirks and walks towards her.
He bends down and whisper's in her ears "Happy kiss day or tumne jo apni romantic novel main padha tha na usse mien sach karne aa gaya".
Hearing this riddhima's eyes opens immediately and she gets up and sits on the bed. Armaan tries to control his laughter after seeing riddhima's action.
Riddhima looks at armaan and was about to speak something when armaan's words dawns upon her, rather speaking she blushes.
Armaan sees this and says "lagta hai yaad aa gaya aaj kaunsa day hai or ab jab yaad aa hi gaya hai toh usse celeberate bhi kar lete hain. Imagine the day starts with a kiss".
Armaan winks at riddhima who just looks down at the floor as if searching something very precious.
Silence prevails in the room; riddhima keeps staring at the floor while armaan keeps noticing riddhima's action.
Suddenly armaan speaks in a stern voice "tum toh aise dar rahi ho jaise ki miene tumhe kissi stranger ko kiss karne ke liye bol diya ho hum log strangers nahiin hai hum pati patni hai yaad aya".
Riddhima immediately looks at armaan with a combination of scared and shocked expressions. Armaan starts laughing seeing her and riddhima seeing him laughing understood he was joking.
She steps out of her bed and says "jao mien tumhe kiss nahiin karoongi bhaad main gaya yeh kiss day".
Riddhima starts walking towards washroom when she felt armaan's hands on her elbow. Armaan grabs her elbow and pushes her towards the wall and then blocks her way. He was dangerously close to her. Both of them could feel each other's breath. Armaan looks in riddhima's eyes intently and riddhima gasp seeing the intense look.
Armaan bends towards her ear and says "novel main jo ladki hoti hai na vo aise hi reactions deti hai".
Before riddhima could comprehend the meaning of his statement armaan places his lips over hers and started kissing her softly. Armaan starts kissing her upper lips and waits for Riddhima to respond back.
Riddhima closes her eyes and then starts responding back and soon the kiss was turned into a passionate one. Armaan pulls back from kiss when he felt riddhima is out of breath and moved down to her neck and started kissing her softly yet paasionately.
He was so lost in the moment that he didn't realise that he has moved a step ahead; this is the first time he was kissing her on the neck. Armaan was busy kissing her neck that he bit her neck making her hiss in pain. This brought armaan back to reality and both looked into each other's eyes.
"Change kar lo mien neeche wait kar raha hoon ok" armaan said and moves out of the room.
He didn't want this moment to turn awkward so he left while Riddhima blushes. The day passed quickly and neither armaan nor Riddhima talked about their kiss.
Finally it was the valentine day armaan wanted to wish and celebrate at night only but knew it would have been difficult for them to roam outside the house at such odd hour so he dropped the idea of celebrating at midnight.
Armaan and riddhima were sitting in armaan's car and armaan was driving towards college when suddenly he took a left turn instead of right.
"Yeh hum kaha jaa rahe hain armaan"
"hamare pyaare friends ne hume valentine gift diya hai two movie tickets toh hum movie hall jaa rahe hain" armaan says and riddhima smiles.
Both of them were shocked when they reach the theatre, their friends had booked a valentine special seats for them. There were many cubicles' in which only two seats were there for valentine couples and cubicle also gave them privacy.
Both armaan and riddhima enjoyed the movie and unlike other couples their attention was on movie only though in between they did share some eye locks especially during romantic scenes.
After movie both went to some restaurant to have their lunch.
"Riddhima jab tak order ata hai mujhe tumse kuch kehna hai"
"hain bolo"
"I know baki lovers ki tarah miene aaj ke din kuch zyada special nahiin kiya bas ek normal day ki tarah movie dekhi or khana kha rahe hain lekin yeh valentine day boht special hai vo iss liye kyunki iss saal hume hamare pyaar ka ahsaas hua or ab hum bandhan main bhi bandh gaye isi liye socha iss saal ek college going boyfriend girlfriend ki tarah valentine day celebrate karte hain, husband wife and hard core romantic lovers ki tarah agle saal celebrate kar lenge or tab tak yeh rishta or masboot ho jayega"
