" Mom!! " he was surprised would be and understatement. The next thing he knows was she hugging him tight.

" Ab rona band karo dono " Sahil said and all giggled . Kriya recognized Shweta's parents .
Rey walked to Sahil and hugged him.

" arrey humne hi bola ki phone na kare, priya ne bola hospital gaye ho " Shashi smiled. It was then it clicked Rey.
"Ohh!! Haan, mai toh bhool hi gaya , Mom , Papa ye hai Kriya !! Naanu aur naani ko toh jaan hi chuke honge , aur Kriya ye " Kriya interrupted.
"Yaad hai Shwetha ke parents "she smiled and said "Namaste " . The couple smiled at her.
" Yeah yeah tum kaise bhuloge?? iss dhabbhe mei toh sab kuch pada rehta hai "he poked her head.

" Kam se kam kuch toh rehta hai !! Tera toh khali pada hai " she said irritated . He is irritating her from the time they are back to home.
"whatever " he rolled his eyes. Shashi looked at preeti and smiled . Rey was never a guy who would be that comfortable with a girl He always maintained distance from girls.
" Arrey haan , mai toh bhool hi gayi ... Happy birthday Kriya " Shashi walked to Kriya. Kriya looked down with a small smile.
She kind of felt awkward and her guilt coming all over.
" You okay?? "Rey frowned see her silent. She silently nodded her head.
Shashi did notice the hesitation Kriya had right from the time she saw them. She knew why that existed. She plaved a hand on Kriya's shoulder and spoke.
"tumhari naani ne bola ki tum bohut dinon tak iss guilt mei rahi ki tum shwetha ko bacha nahi paayi and hume dekhe u r again feeling guilty right?? " She smiled.
"Kriya looked down more.
" Hum bhi the waha pe, we know you did your best beta, things happen. Yeah we lost our daughter but I never want you be guilty for that. Your did your work , result acha nahi aaya bas " she lifted Kriya's face holding her chin and spoke.
" Seriously Kriya?? tumhara ye guilt ka drama ab tak chal raha hai?? " Rey said irritated. Kriya looked at him confused.
" Mere itne samjhane ke baad bhi you are sulking?? Matlab you just don't care about what ever I said !! Great " Something annoyed him to core.
"Rey aisa nahi hai " she tried to convince.
"Oh please!! Stop it " Rey was pissed off.
"Okay!! I promise aaj ke baad aisa nahi karungi. Promise " She held her ears . Rey looked at her and smiled. He shook his head and looked away.
" I think baat badane ka time jald hi aayega " Shashi went to priya and whispered to her. Priya smiled back at her.
"Hopefully!! " Priya squeezed her hand.
" I just want him to be happy!! "Shashi said sadly. She loved Rey like her own kid. And it is clear that she couldn't see him sad and broken.
" I know!! He will be !!! Bas thoda time dena padega hum, for him to come out of it " Preeti hugged her.
" Sorry Uncle , aunty, par ab hume jaana chahiye, naanu aur naani ki dinner ki time ho raha hai " Kriya said as all looked up at her.
"Mom, Papa !! Bas 15 minutes, mai drop karke aata hun aur raat bar baatein karenge " Rey said excited.
" Rey tum rukho mai drop karke aata hun " Ranvijay said but Rey didn't agree.
"Nahi Dad mai drop kardunga na "
"Rey !! Rnavijay ko drop karne do, humse batein karo, thodi der mei hume bhi toh nikalna hai ." Shashi said slowly.
"Kya?? aap kaha jaa rahe hai?? "He asked shocked.
" Sahil ko ek hi din ki chutti mili Rey, 12 ko humara flight hai . " she smiled. Rey's face fell down.
"ek aur din nahi rukh sakte?? aate hi nikal rahe ho?? " he looked so sad.
" Rey!! Fir kabhi, hum toh bas tumhe dekhne aaye " She caressed his cheek.
"Mai drop karke aata hun " Ranvijay grabbed the keys.
" Kriya!! "Rey called her.She looked back frowning.
" Kal subah operation haina?? " for which she nodded "mai bhi chalta hun tere saath okay?? 6 baje ko tayyar rehna, I will pick you up. "he said and she left after nodding .

"Toh bolo kya hua humare jaane ke baad?? " Shashi and Rey are finally sitting on his bed chatting. Rey placed his head in her lap and smiled.
"Kuch khaas nahi "
"Par maine suna ki tum drugs lena shuru kiya " Rey went silent.
"sorry mom, bas tab mai correct frame of mind mei nahi tha " he said after a long gap.
"toh ab choota kaise wo aadat ?? "
"Maa ne nahi bataya?? " He questioned.
"par mujhe tumse sunna hai " and Rey explained her everything.
"Rey mai tumse kuch bolun??? " She asked making him sit. He nodded his head to go on.
"Rey life mei hamesha second chance hota hai , aur hume milta bhi hai. Bus hume usse recognize karna padta hai. Tumse agar koi pyaar karta haina toh wo tumhe hamesha khush hi chahta hai, chahe wo kahi pe bhi ho. Bas tum khush hoge toh woh khush rahenge . " Rey interrupted.
"Mom aap ye kya bol rahe ho?? " Rey can guess what she wanted to say bt he doesn't want to think about it.
"Rey tumhe pata hai mai kya samjhane ki koshish kar rahi hun. Mera beta itna smart toh hai hi. " She got off the bed and kissed his temple.
"Ab hume nikalna chahiye, waise Rey.. Kriya bohut achi ladki hai, socho ek baar " she said caressing his hair.
"Mom aap galat samajh rahe ho , Kriya sirf meri dost hai bas. " He tried to convince.
" Maine kab kaha ki wo nahi hai Rey?? Mai toh bas tumhe life ko second chance dene ke baare mei sochne bol rahi hun "

" Shhh!! Abhi nahi, kal socho... kal nahi toh parso.. parso nahi toh ek mahine baad.. par socho zaroor "she kissed his forehead for one last time and left leaving a highly confused Rey!!
