Taani said calmly, hugging the middle aged woman, but looked a bit older, and torn off, because of the hurdles she had faced in her life. Taani wiped her tears, and said… "look if you really wanna pay me, then promise me, you will support arpita as much as you can…she was raped, it's not her fault. You will support her, help her to gain her confidence back, her life back…I know it's hard but you have to do it."
"Yes I will. I will…no matter if it costs me my life, now on I won't let anyone taunt her, or anyone create a single tear in the eyes of my daughter. And even if it means a divorce with my husband, I would go for it…actually I should had done this a long before. Taani's chain of thoughts was broken, as she felt herself in a hug... he tightly interlocked her in his arms. His head was deeply buried in her hair, feeling their silky texture and sweet scent, while constantly moving his face slowly in her hair…how much he love doing this, feeling her hair caressing his cheek… but his brain was just feeling proud…. He was so proud of her…Taani…she has proved herself again the best. No one could ever stand up to her… It was then when taani jerked him a bit, and looked at him with fake anger.
He stood quiet, with the same cute innocent pout on his face, quietly… well trying to justify… "Wo…who actually taani…I'm so so…so sorry… I couldn't be there on the hearing..wo kya hai na…" he was justifying himself, when he heard taani's laughing aloud…
"Rey…you are so…" Taani was about to say something when rey interrupted her.
"I know…cute, hot, sexy…of course Taani shekhawat…" he said with a smirk.
"Oh please…I was about to say you are so silly… here I've won a case, and you come late, and that too without a gift…hunh." Taani pouted and get into the car, as Rey sat on the driving seat. She was doing her seat belt when Rey helped her, went close to her, turned to her, and let his hand slid into her top. He pulled her closer, looked into her eyes, she was smiling through her eyes, however her eyes were closed as she felt Rey's hand roaming on her back, caressing it possessively, letting her velvety skin feel every line of his palm… her arms reached to Rey's back, hugging him, one hand in his hair, caressing them, pulling him closer. Then their eyes looked at each other, feeling each other's love, feeling complete with each other, then unconsciously their eyes went on each other's lips, and they starting to come closer. In a moment their lips met, and their eyes closed in a pure sensuous pleasure. Caressing each other, feeling each other, their tongues were interlocked, finding their world in each other….
Suddenly a sweet laughter ringed in the car mechanically….
"Oh damn…the only time this laughter of yours disturb me is when you are with him." He said irritatingly.
Taani smiled at him, almost giggling, looking at his face.
"Oh gosh…why on the earth there are Bhai… look yours one… and I can bet, he's calling on my phone, but the first thing he'll say will be… Taani…Taani hai kya…I mean…" Rey switched the loudspeaker mode on while Taani was trying to control her laughter hard.
"hello Taani….Rey..Taani hai aas paas." Swayam had just said, and Taani burst into laughter, and snatched the phone from swayam's hand and started talking to him, while Taani kept talking to Swayam. They entered in the parking of their home, when Rey snatched the phone, glared at taani, and said to Swayam… "bas dude, taani yahin hai… she's not going on some other planet. She's here only…but please she has got your congratulations, and please don't come tonight for a dinner here. In fact stay away for minimum one week." While taani looked at him unbelievably…
"What…don't stare me… seriously your bhain needs these kinda check on himself…you are my wife for heaven's sake. Hunh." Rey said as he opened the door for Taani.
Taani started walking, but felt pulled by rey, and blindfolded by Rey.
"I'll be just here…don't take it off..okay." Rey patted her cheek and went to the home.
She was standing there, her heart beating when she heard her phone ringing.
"Hello…" she said."You think yourself of too much…by the way you are looking way beautiful in your white top and blue denims…and your husband in black shirt…he too look good. But just think, how would he look after being shoot? His shirt soaked in blood, while dying…" an unknown rough cruel voice said.
"What the hell you are saying…? Shut up…look whoever you are…" Taani was horrified by his description about Rey, but he interrupted her.
"You shut up Taani shekhawat… imagine doing yourself in the last rituals of your family… Reyansh, Swayam, Sharon, your tauji… You in white clothes…but I must say you look way sexy in white clothes, so I shan't kill all of them together….one by one they shall be killed, so that I'll see you more in white clothes." The voice said and laughed, while taani cut off the call.
Taani shuddered. Threatening calls were not new to her, being an honest and the best lawyer, she was used to them, but today she felt shuddered. She felt herself drowning in cold endless ocean, when she felt Rey's arms encircling her waist and neck, and next moment he was carrying her in his arms. For a moment she felt safe…she has been rescued. She hugged Rey, buried her face in his chest, unwilling to go anywhere.
Even when rey opened the door, and placed her, so that she could stand on her feet, she clinched to him, for her life.
"Taani…congratulations… hope you would like my gift." Rey said, and uncovered her eyes slowly.
Taani's eyes took few moments to compose themselves in the shimmering lights… their home was decorated astonishingly beautiful, with little lights all over, white lily, pink and purple orchids, white curtains with another silver golden curtain lying on them, to add up their glory. Simply simple but elegant.
Taani smiled, tears come in her eyes… "rey it was just a case… you didn't needed to do so much…"
"Really… Taani…." Rey stepped a bit forward, then turned towards Taani, smiling at him, and satisfied, that taani liked everything.
"Taani..how can you even try to lie to me? This was indeed a tough case, without any evidences, witnesses, anything….but for you… Taani, I've seen you struggling with the pain while you were working on this. I know how much you had suffered… because of this case…because you felt the pain exactly as if she's close to you…as if…." Rey said, and cupped taani's face in his hands, ran his thumb to wipe her tears, and whispered… "I love you."
"I love you too Rey… more than anything." She hugged rey tightly, as if never let him wanna go.
"But you are gonna love me more…come…follow me." Rey said and started walking.
Taani had almost forgotten about that phone call when her cellphone again rang. Her heart skipped a beat… it became normal as she saw Sharon calling.
"Hello bhabhi…" Taani said.
"Taani...it's…"
"sharon…sharon…okay..it's Sharon…I got it." Taani quickly changed, to prevent a fight.
"Taani…is swayam there….swayam and ayaan…I called at academy, but thhes not there. I'm bit worried…" Sharon said.
"Don't worry…he'll be there soon…but bhai is not here. Me too will try to call him. Okay. Relax….and please don't worry." Taani said.
Sharon cut the call, and taani was worried…she was about to call Swayam when an unknown number flashed on Taani's screen.
"Wait a second… before saying a word… hear this…
'Taali…taali…it's me ayaan…' 'Taani…'
Suna…. Taani shekhawat…now listen to me…your brother, and your nephew have been kidnapped…and don't dare to tell anyone…" the same voice said.
"What do you want…?" Taani said in a moment, almost deciding that no matter what amount of money they have to pay, she'll get them back.
"Well…what do you think…okay not wasting time…divorce. From rey Singhania… you gotta leave him… you gotta divorce him…come on… you yourself are a lawyer…so I wont give you extra time to arrange for a lawyer…come on…you don't know when you have to see someone's dead face you love…come on…tick tick tick…" and the phone call ended.
Taani couldn't stand for a moment…she clutched the table besides her, for supporting herself. She ran to washroom…
"Oh gosh…is this happening for real… bhai is already with him…whoever that person is…what I'm gonna do… what…tell police… but… he had told her not to do so… it was a kidnapping case…in mostly cases of kidnapping, if one act smart, then the first step kidnappers so is to kill the victims…. No…no…no….she can't let Swayam or ayaan's life in danger. She can't….but could she divorce Rey…Rey…Rey….her life, for whom life meant Taani… he would not be able to take this shock. He will… gosh…she would shatter him into pieces…and herself too. But then she remembered the voice….her family…Rey, Swayam, Sharon, tauji…he would do the same with everyone…no…no…noo… NOOO…" a scream escaped from her mouth.
Next moment, Rey reached to her, holding her in his arms…he saw her. He smiled, since taani has took this rape case, it was a bit normal… not for him, his heart beat used to halt, but it was still something which used to often. It was taani… she was naturally sensitive… a lot, she could feel anyone's pain as hers. And she often used to have nightmares….but rey used to be there for her.
"Taani…sweetheart….it's done now… guilty will be punished… its okay." Rey caressed her hair, holding her in his embrace, then turned towards mirror, took water in his hands and washed taani's face, and wiped it.
"Come..come…let's have dinner." Rey said as he made her sit on the chair.
Taani was shocked…tears came into her eyes… all her favorite dishes were there, all by rey himself… for her, only her.
Her favorite pasta, her favorite strawberry shake with all kinda berries in that, their streaks making beautiful pattern in that shake… or that beautiful chocolate cake, on which taarey was written and melted chocolate was making it absolutely luring. Or the spicy sabzi which smell she could feel… Rey had done all for her.
"Hey wait a minute, I'll just be back." Said Rey.
Taani had decided what to do.
"Hello shanaya… you have to do something… I know it's late, but quickly get ready divorce papers..of mine and rey…reyansh Singhania and taani shekhawat. Look you aren't supposed to ask me anything..it's me who is the boss…come on do it." Taani said and saw Rey coming with a gift wrapped.
"what sweetheart, phone…not allowed." And he snatched it from her hands, and gestured her to open the gift.
She unwrapped….and it was a most beautiful diamond necklace ever. Gosh…angelic, beautiful serene, divine…
Taani closed her eyes to let some drops fall from her eyes. She would cherish every moment of them together… it was their last time together.
She cupped Rey's face, letting the smooth lines of her palm feel rather coarse skin of Rey's face. She ran her thumb from his forehead, to his eyes, touching his eyelashes closed by by her touch, and his nose, to his lips.
She kissed his forehead, deeply, sucking his skin, feeling his texture by the tip of his tongue, now and then rubbing her nose. She came a bit down, eager to feel his face closely again, this time with much more intensity, tensed as it was the last time… her hand slid into his hair and her fingers clutched his head through hair gently and was bringing his lips to hers when he resisted.
"Looks like my wife missed me a lot…don't worry…we have a lot of time…" he looked at her and gestured towards the dinner.
He took the plate, served the food, and started with the cake…rich chocolate cake…her favorite. He took a piece, drenched in chocolate, and took that to her mouth. She tasted. He looked carefully examining by her reactions if the cake was good.
He got his answer soon, she finished that little piece soon.
She cut a piece and forwarded it to him, he smiled and ate it, but to her pleasant surprise, her fingers were not free yet, Rey was kissing them, licking off, the remains of the cake which was on her fingers. He kissed her hand, her palm…
"Taani I love you…I love you so much…" Rey said, and her heart was elated as well as drowned in sadness.
"But you know what… what I love more…? Hmmm…? This chocolate…you know so delicious, so…" Rey came forward, and looked into her eyes, then towards her lips, now forgetting himself about the dinner, he licked the chocolate close to her lips, Taani's eyes closed in pleasure. Rey's eyes fell on a bit of chocolate fallen a bit below her neck, and a bit above her cleavage. He took Taani in his arms, wrapping his one arm around her waist, pulling her to him, gently and firmly, put his lips on her neck, kissed lavishly, smooching her, he came to that cake bit, and it was disappeared. Taani's hands were on his back, pulling him to her desperately, trying to engulf him completely in herself, knowing what was the fate of them… longing that time should stop there, not moving a bit, keeping things just like that, keeping them together. She just wanted to have him, his touch, his smell, his feel… but what tomorrow had for them… it scared her… without him, she would be incomplete.
She felt the straps of her top going down, and Rey's hands carefully removing it, while his fingers were touching her bare back, feeling every bit of her smoothness. Rey's bare body, hugged her, crushing them into a hug, feeling each other skin with their bare skin, kissing each other lavishly, their hands feeling each other's body, which was more familiar to them more their own, while smooches and kisses on the couch… taani couldn't help but think about future…she without rey, rey without her…while he will be behind heartbroken…unaware of the truth… even if she tells him he would feel dejected that she didn't bothered to tell him. She could feel them apart, longing to see each other, to be with each other… She was having the reminiscences of their memories, which were gonna bee just, memories and nothing else. Taani finding to find Rey in their bedroom, unable to find her with him, nowhere she could see him… he wasn't there with her chocolate cake, not there to fight with her in pretence of remote or her lappy, and then beginning with his mouthful kisses, smooches, their love completing each other, completing each other in their bodies and souls.

Their first date, all the moments they spent together… everything.

Rey looked into her eyes…she was avoiding his gaze, at the corner of her left eye, he could feel a drop. Her face was tensed, hard… His hands held her face, while caressing her hair, he put his lips on her soft supple lips. He kissed hard, but without hurting her lips… taani was stiff today, he brought her closer to him, their bare bodies engulfing each other, Taani could felt his toned abs on her belly…she loved this sensation….
"Taani…there is something wrong… what is it?" Rey directly asked to her, looking into her eyes.
"If you'd ever trust me for a moment, you'll tell me… taani..please…" he looked nd mumbled.
She couldn't….she couldn't hide…she hid herself in his arms, shattered, hurt, upset, feared… she started crying…He caressed her…
And she told him. And with a long deep kiss they again promised to be with each other always…and then both put on clothes, to face this problem together.
