Arnav is making amends realising he has wronged Khushi. And Khushi on the other hand wants to be less attached to him emotionally and physically so that their break up would be easy. She has accepted the fact that their marriage will end.

He surely has developed some feelings for her...thats why she affects him so much. Is that pure guilt or respect? You will have to wait and see as the story progresses.😉

In my story, Mami is actually a nice character...She is a modern mother in law. She wants Akash to date and marry a girl he likes. But it is Akash who wants arranged marriage.

You are right caring is an aspect of loving.

Khushi currently has accepted the fact that their marriage will end. Her hopes of love and a loving marriage have been broken twice and so she has accepted her reality. So, She wants to stay unattached to him every way possible so that their break up won't be too hard on her and their families. And yet, Arnav is doing the complete opposite. So, she is confused, shocked and angry.
