[If you are completely forgotten the characters and everything. I will suggest, you go on first page. Read everything and then, come to this update. That will be helpful for you. Without reading CS and Chapter one. You won't able to understand the following chapter.]

Chapter Two

Taani was almost near her house. She checked the timing in her watch. Taani opened the rusty gate of their varanda and walked to the main door. She pushed it and entered the house.

"Maaa.." Taani called for her mother. She hanged her bag on the wall. She put her duppata on her neck and tied a knot near her waist.

"Maa.." She called again. After some two minutes, Taani heard coughing. She quickly made her way to room. She found her mother was coughing badly. Taani bite her lip to control her emotions. She looked at her father's picture which was in black and white color. She sighted and walked to her mother, started rubbing her back.

She quickly picked up the jar and poured the water in short glass and made her mother to drink it. Devyani's her mother's breathing was getting down slowly. Taani was still rubbing Devyani's back.

"Maa.. Aap thik toh ho?" Taani asked. Devyani gulped and nodded her head weakly. Taani arranged the pillow properly and helped her mother to lay down on the bed. Taani stood up and walked to her Father's picture. She took the machis and light up a small diya in front of the photo.

"Taani.." Her mother called in weak voice. Taani quickly turned and kneeled beside Devyani.

"Maa... Ab hum me doctor ko dikhana chaiye." Taani said as she put her head near, Devyani's hand. Devyani smiled and put her hand on Taani's head.

"Dactur sab ne kab ka keh diya hain.. Taani." Taani closed her eyes tightly and opened it again. She took her mother's hand in hers and kissed it.

"Aisa matt ko Maa... Hum doosare doctor ko dikha sakate hain.." Taani pleaded her mother. Devyani shook her head and smiled.

"Taani. Tumhe pata hain.. mere pass ab jada din nahi hain. Khamka, kyu kharch bhadaye?" Devyani asked. Taani was on verge of crying, but she controlled it. She put her head down. Devyani put her hand gently on Taani's head. "Taani.." Devyani called. Taani didn't answer, she waited to continue Devyani.

"Mere jaane ke baad, tu akeli nahi rahegi-" But, Taani interrupted her. "Maa.." She said. But, Devyani ignored her.

"Dekh Taani. Jo hain so hain..." Devyani put her palm on Taani's shoulder, Taani lifted her head to see her mother.

"Meri aakhari iccha puri karde Taani, Mujhe teri shaadi mere jaanese pehele dekhni hain.." Devyani said. Taani sighted and was about to protest. But, then she shut her mouth. She knew, even doctor had clearly told her that Devyani has less time. Her heart is weak now. In that, she has a breathing problem. Even, if they try to get medical help, they won't be able to help Devyani.

Taani looked at Devyani's face. She was completely tired. But, Devyani was looking down at Taani with so much love. She took hand in hers and nodded. Devyani smiled widely. Her face brightened.

Rey finally dared to come out of his room. He locked himself for some more than eight hours. Since, Swayam and Sharon were coming with him to Jodhpur. They stayed in mansion. He jogged down the stairs and bumped into someone. Rey looked up, "Sor-" But, he stopped himself saying it.

"Ayushamann.." He said while looking at his step-brother. Ayushmann gave him a bore look and walked away while whistling. Rey sighted and shook his head. He was about to walk away.

"Reeyansh." His Dad's voice boomed. He stopped in his track and turned. Prithviraj, his dad was standing on top of the stairs. Prithviraj took his time to walk down the stairs. Rey knew, about what his dad wanted to talk about.

Prithviraj stood in front of his son. Rey sighted, "Look Dad, just don't. Okay. Don't." Rey warned him. Prithviraj sighted.

"I want some time to think, okay? Leaving your bachelor life is not a joke." Rey said. Prithviraj stayed quite. After some moment, he nodded. Rey turned to walk away.

"Rey.." Prithviraj's voice made him stop. He looked back at Prithviraj. " You have time to think till tonight. Because, tomorrow we will take the first flight for Jodhpur. I hope, the time in enough. And, I am expecting YES as an answer." Prithviraj said and before Rey could protest, he walked into his study and closed the door behind him.

Rey cursed his faith. "Shit!" He exclaimed. He walked out of the mansion and took his bike from the garage. As soon as, he started the bike, headlight of some black care started blinking. Rey first couldn't see it because the focus of the light was on his face. But, soon enough he recognized who is it. He put his helmet and sped the bike out of mansion. The car also started and started following Rey.

Rey finally parked the bike and put his helmet off. The car which was following him all the way also stopped. Rey got up from his bike and leaned on his bike, crossing his arms. He smirked.

"Dude. You are not a safe driver at all." Sharon shouted at Rey as soon as she came out from passenger sit. Swayam hopped out, " I also agree. If you ever take any gal on backsit, she will be scared out of her life." Swayam glared at him. Rey chuckled.

"Chill babes.." Rey said while hugging Sharon tightly. Then, he turned to Swayam. Sharon gulped, " Rey, Can you tell us why you locked yourself in your room?" Sharon asked. Rey sighted.

"It's long story, I will make it in short. My daddu has property in Jodhpur. He died, you know that. According to his will, I inherit that property. But, there are some conditions." Rey started explaining and Swayam was nodding in understanding.

"What are the conditions?" Sharon asked. Rey sighted,"Dad said there are more. He told me only some. First, I need to get the business. Second..." Rey trailed off. Swayam and Sharon shared a look.

"Second, I need to get marry." He said, while shaking his head in affirmation.

"What?????" Sharon shouted. Swayam looked at Rey with wide eyes and opened mouth. "And... You agreed??" Sharon screamed again. Rey flinched but, ignored it.

"Nope. No way in the hell. Dad is saying, if I don't agree. The possession of that property won't be to us. The government will get it. It's like completely ancient and all." Rey said.

Sharon shook her head and folded her arms. Swayam looked down at the ground in deep thinking.

"That's really complicated Rey." Swayam murmured. Rey nodded. Swayam looked at Rey, "So, what is your decision?" Swayam asked. Rey shrugged.

"I don't know. I mean, Daddu was the only person, I had a close family person. And, leaving his property which he cared and maintained till his last breath, to government. Daddu would hate me." Rey said. Swayam and Sharon gave sympathetic smile to him. They remained silent for some time.

"Rey.."Swayam broke the silence. "You said, there are more conditions. I think, you should hear it them also. And, then you take the decision. I mean, May be, you will get some idea from other conditions." Swayam suggested. Rey rubbed his jaw and then nodded slowly.

"He has a point Rey." Sharon supported. Rey looked at Sharon then at Swayam, sighted. " I think so, It will help me." He said. He checked the timming and they decided to head mansion back.

Rey was packing his bag in his room. He put his shirts, jeans and other necessary things. Swayam was helping as well as packing his own bag. From past three minutes, Prithviraj was standing at the door of Rey's room and watching both of them. Finally, Swayam noticed him and stopped. Prithviraj cleared his throat. First, Rey looked at Swayam then at his dad.

"So.. You are coming. I am glad Rey, you agreed." Prithviraj said. Rey scowled at him.

"Let me get clear dad, I am still not in. I am going to hear his all conditions and then I will take my decision. Right now, nothing is final. If I don't agree with other conditions, then I am off. I will go back." Rey said while glaring at Prithviraj.

"I see..." That is only, Prithviraj said and he left. Rey looked at Swayam with surprised look, Swayam shrugged.

"Are Sunati hoo...Devyani ji.." A man yelled from outside. Taani wiped her hands and opened the door.

"Kya hua kaka?" Taani asked. "Singhania saab ke bete aur unke bete matlab, bade sabji ke pote aa rahe hain." The man said. Taani nodded.

"Haan toh hum kya kare?" Taani asked, not understanding it. "Taani.."Devyani called. Taani turned to find Devyani standing at door. "Usse andar bulao.." Devyani said to Taani while pointed towards the man who was yelling.

"Ji.." Taani said. Taani motioned him to come in. Devyani sat down and the man named, Bajrang sat down opposite to Devyani. Taani sat next to Devyani.

"Kya kaha tumne, Singhaniya aa rahe hain?" Devyani asked. Bajrang nodded.

"Maa... Hume kya uses lena dena?" Taani asked. Before, Devyani could say anything. Bajrang started.

"Bitiya, tumhare pitaji, Bade Singhania, matlab Digvijay Singhania ke yaha kaam karte the.. Unke beta aur pota kal aa rahe hain."

Taani nodded. Bajrang continued, "Kal jitney bhi log udhar kaam karate hain aur karte the, unko ikkatha (assemble) hone ko kaha hain..mehel me." Bajrang informed. Devyani nodded.

"Par..ab yeh toh..." Devyani hinted towards her husband's photo. Bajrang nodded. "Pata hain. Par, aap ya Taani bitiya aa sakati hain..." Bajarang informed. Taani looked at her mother and quickly shook her head.

"Maa nahi..Mehi chali jaati hoon." Taani said. Devyani was about to protest, but Taani shook her head. Devyani sighted and finally agreed.

Rey put the strap of his backpack on his shoulder and looked around. Gayatri Rey's mom was being panaroid.

"Oh My god, I regret my decision. If I hadn't married you, toh idhar me kabhi nahi aati." Gayatri complained. Prithviraj ignored her comment. Rey didn't turn.

"If you hadn't married him, I swear..." He left the sentence hanging. Prithviraj's head snapped at Rey's direction. He gave a warning look. Rey shrugged and pulled Swayam with him, Sharon following them.

Gayatri narrowed her eyes on Prithviraj. But, he shook his head and started heading straight. All decided to go at the palace.

In some five hours, they reached at palace. All settled in garden.

"Kal sab palace workers ko, bulaya hain. We will see conditions tomorrow." Prithviraj said while drinking his juice. Rey quickly placed his juice glass and stood up.

"Actually, I want to know now. So, I can decide quickly. I can't wait till tomorrow." Rey declared. Prithviraj sighted and shook his head. "But..."

Rey cut him. " That's it dad." Prithviraj sighted and dialed lawyer's number. He talked for some few minutes.

"Fine. He is coming." Prithviraj told everything. Ayunshamann was silent in all this. He didn't like it at all. After all, he is also the son of Prithviraj Singhania. Why can't he inherit this property? He was extremely jealous of his step big brother. He hinted Gayatri, his mom about his irritation. Gayatri nodded at him.She turned to Prithviraj.

"Prithvi. I think, Rey is not at all ready for this. I think, he just don't deserve it. If he is already unwilling to do it. Your dad should have considered once, my baby. Ayushamann." Gayatri said.

Swayam rolled his eyes and Sharon chocked while drinking the juice. "Just keep quite Gayatri. Please." Prithviraj said. A servant came running and informed them that, Lawyer has arrived.

Taani was making Dal-bati. Devyani was sitting in varanda, taking sunlight. The noise of gate opening came. Taani looked out from window to see, who is it. A pandit was standing here.

"Pandit ji??" Taani asked herself. She quickly stopped her work and came out. Her mother and pandit ji were talking.

"Maa.." Taani called. Devyani turned and smiled at her. She motioned to come near her. Taani sat down beside her.

"Dekh Taani, mene hi pandit ji ko bulaya hain. Woh tere liye accha sa war (groom) dhundege." Devyani smiled widely and turned to pandit ji again.

"Taani bitiya.. Tumhare liye rishte bhot ane wale hain.. Usme koi shanka (doubt) nahi" Pandit ji said. Devyani grinned at Taani. Taani smiled weakly, her smile didn't reach her eyes. She just nodded and quickly got inside the house.

All were sitting in study of palace. Lawyer was placing the paper one by one. Finally, after taking some half an hour. He settled and was ready to tell the conditions.

"As you know, according to will, the property belongs to the one and only grandson, Reeyansh Singhania." Lawyer said.

Ayushmann frowned, he was about to inturupt, Prithviraj palced his hand on his second son's shoulder and squeezed it, giving him a last warning. Ayushmann kept quite.

Prithviraj told lawyer to continue,. " There are some conditions and decesions." Lawyer looked at the entire family and then looked at his paper.

1^st Clause:

The business of Singhania has to be handled from Reyaansh Singhania.

2^nd Clause:

The company will be on Reeyansh Singhnia's name for at least 12 years. After 12 years, the company can be given or sold.

3^rd Clause:

Reeyansh Singhania has to get married. Marriage should be in Indian Culture.

Rey frowned and chuckled also. He was frowning because of marriage condition. But, next thing make him chuckle. His grandfather always complained about him being away from India. He always threatened, Rey that he will make sure, the marriage of Digvijay's grandson will be in front of entire Jodhpur.

Rey came out of his trance and nodded at lawyer to continue.

4^th Clause:

20% of shares will be Reeyansh Singhnia's wife. She will be having some important rights. All family members are expected to respect this decision.

All heard Gayatri's gasp. But, Prithviraj told Lawyer to continue.

5^th Clause:

If Reeyansh Singhania and his wife wants to give or donate any share of property, they can. No one will have right to question them.

6^th clause:

There are some conditions for the marriage.

1. Rey has to be married in Indian Culture.

2. The marriage should last forever at least for 5 years.

And Last, one which is very important.

3. The bride should be originally from Jodhpur. She should be from simple house. No bride from Royal Family.

Lawyer looked up at entire family and continued.

Sr.Singhnia hopes that Reeyansh Singhania, His grandson will find a perfect bride.

If anything which is mentioned in the part 21AL won't get completed. Any member of Singhnia family will loose their rights on this property and this property will possessed by government.

Lawyer folded the paper and looked at the entire family. All turned to Rey, who quickly stood up and barged out of the room. Prithviraj stood up and followed Rey.

"DAD.. I am not going to marry any Jodhpuri Girl." Rey shouted as he sensed that Prithviraj was following him.

All other were still in study room, too much stunned to move.

"There is no way, I am going to loose dad's property Rey." Prithviraj shouted back. Rey started jogging stairs down. Prithviraj also followed him. He finally came near Rey and made him stop and turned him.

"I can't do this Dad." Rey shouted. Prithviraj remained calm.

"So, will you do for your mom? Your mom??" Prithviraj asked. Rey just looked at him with blank face.

Prithviraj has started the game. And, there is no way, he will allow Rey to go back. If he has to blackmail Rey emotionally by bringing the subject of his dead wife and Rey's dead mother., he will do it.

"Will you Rey??" Prithviraj asked again. Rey just don't know. He was too much stunned to respond.

Rey opened the upper drawer and he found a trunk. It was all dusty with spider's net around it. He took that trunk and pushed it. It was too much heavy. He pushed it again.

He coughed. He pushed this time with a good force and finally it slides little forward. He ran a hand through dust to wipe it. He looked for some opening. He applied the pressure and opened it.As the lead of the trunk opened, the dust mixed with air, making Rey cough. He put his hand on his mouth, noseand looked down in trunk.

He took his hand off from his mouth and nose. He leaned and kneeled down on dirty floor. He looked in the trunk with wide eyes.

Prithviraj rubbed his jaw.

"I think, we should start our search." Prithviraj said. He looked at Swayam and Sharon. Swayam and Sharon gulped.

"You guyz, be with Rey and roam in Jodhpur. Till that, I will look for the bride." Prithviraj said while rubbing his forehead.

"But-" Sharon was about to say something. But, Prithviraj looked up at her. His eyes were sharply looking at her. Sharon gulped and nodded.

"Who the hell are you??" Gayatri hissed. Taani just wanted to smack this woman in her head. Her voice was the worst the voice in this entire world. Prithviraj entered the room.

"What now, Gayatri?" Prithviraj asked in tired tone.

"Just shut up Prithvi. Look at this poor one. She is throwing a tantrum here." Gayatri yelled. Prithviraj nodded his head while hearing his wife complain.

"I will handle.. Go." Prithviraj instructed. Gayatri gave last glare and left the room.

He looked at Taani and raised his eyebrow.

Rey looked down and knelt on one knee. He picked up the elegant anklet. He put it in his palm. He gathered it his fist and shaked his palm little. The tiny bells produce the soothing voice. It was almost same. Rey still could hear mentally the jiggling soothing voice, he heard when he was going upstairs to his room.

Rey shook his head, he looked at the anklet and gathered it in his fist and put in his pocket.

Taani combed her hair in one single plait. She slide her left toe in one of her rajasthani slipper. And, then she was about to slide her left toe. When she noticed that her ankle didn't have one of her anklet. She looked here and there.

"Kaha guma (lost) diya??" She bite her nails.

How's the update? This update was for the conditions and all. Yes, I know. NO TAAREY MEET YET. 😆 Lol.. It will happen. Just have some patience. Geez, I know, don't repeat that bloody sentence. But, you need to. LOL.. Anyway! Precap.. -_-
