Nd wth the final greeting he disconnected the call.. but nxt momnt wen he turned still smiling being completely lost in trance of the conversation wth his love, his gaze suddenly fell on the person standing at the door.. nd needless to say seeing HIM there all gloomy nd rigid was more than enough to give him the deadliest shock of his life.. nd wthin seconds his dreamy smile changed into an expression of complete horror.. "ar.. armaan?? Tu yahan pe??" he tried to sound casual but failed miserably..

On the other hand, armaan who juz came to call him for dinner, was standing there furiously all ready to kill him wth his bare hands even that is needed.. "kyun jhatka laga adi baby ko??" his voice was extremely sarcastic as well as murderous.. adi gulped in fear knowing very well how hot tempered this guy is nd how possessive he is for his one n only best frnd! So, before armaan could do anything bad or change the shape of his face forever by his hard well known punch, adi started at once too fast to be uttered in one go.. "tu galat samajh raha hain armaan.. I cn explain!!"

"really?? Fine.. then explain mr. aditya ghai.. I'm all ears.." he said wth gritted teeth while taking slow dangerous steps towards him.. clearly he's mad that moment! well actually not mad but he's very very very mad..!! he just can't get over the thought of adi cheating onto his riddhima.. how dare he plays with her emotion! Nd so he swore in mind, if a single tear came down from riddhima's gorgeous innocent eyes, he'll actually kill this ba**** without a second thought...

Adi gasped nd retreated back at once stumbling so many times on the way.. this armaan is really dangerous! He's seen him sending an eve-teaser to hospital for at least 2months juz for singing a cheap hindi song wen he saw riddhima laughing while enjoying her panipuri merrily wth her friends oneday! "Oh god.. aab kya karoon main?" adi prayed mentally feeling extremely helpless nd then without having any other option, he finally gave in.. muttering a soft "sorry riddhima.." under his breath he started.. "armaan.. ridzy aur mein relationship mein nai hain.. wohh toh bas tujhey jalane ke liye humne yeh sab kiya tha.." he cleverly spilled out the strongest point nd thn paused baited breathed to see his nxt move.. "abhi kya karega yeh? Gussa toh nahi ho jayega na firse? Oh god ridzy! Why did I listen to ur deadly plans?? Abhi armaan tujhey toh kuch nai karega but mera haddi pasli ek kar dega for sure.. plz god plz aaj bacha lena! fir kabhi bhi aisi stupid plans ke liye haan nahi kahunga.. mujhey kunwara nahi marna yaar.. nikita jaan.. good bye... lagta hain aaj tumhara pyar kho ne wala hain humesha humesha ke liye.." adi who was actually a timid person in reality alwaz feels afraid of armaan's anger.. though he maintains his charming persona well in front of him too but the reality is that he fears this mad, super-possessive, dangerous best frnd of riddhima! Nd the day wen ridzy introduced armaan as her best frnd, he backed off without trying his luck to propose riddhima to date him in future! Right.. he actually had strong crush for ridzy but nvr got the chance to transform his infatuation into love due to this single person in between.. adi was completely lost in his thoughts regarding his fear towards armaan's anger, wen suddenly his gaze fell on armaan's face nd the sight literally shocked him again but in a different way this time.. "wait! Is that a smile? Oh god! He's actually smiling!!" adi gasped in amusement.. armaan who was all murderous a few seconds before, is completely calm now.. as if nothing has happened till now or does he have split personality disorder!! watever it is but he's safe finally.. Adi sighed in relief.. this armaan is completely opposite of wat he was fearing a minute back.. his fists are now loosened, worry lines across the forehead got vanished, jaw relaxed nd soon his soft smile transformed into a big idiotic grin making adi blink his eyes in disbelief.. "umm.. armaan.. tu toh thik hain,na??" he asked hesitantly.. boy! This guy shows more mood swings dan a pregnant woman.!! Adi thought nd chuckled mentally..

But armaan completely neglected his confused question and said.. "great.. now I want details buddy.." giving adi almost a cardiac arrest.. never till now armaan talked this sweetly to him nd buddy?? Is he actually addressed me buddy?? Waoo.." adi thought in amazement..

Armaan who was scrutinizing adi's each n every expression till now, grinned more knowing wat he must be thinking.. thn walking towards adi's bed carelessly, he threw himself casually on the bed as if this is his room not adi's.. "kya hua yaar?? Baith na.. apna hi room samajh.." armaan said while closing his eyes in utmost satisfaction making adi think all over again about the chances of split personality disorder..

"hmm.. wohh toh thik hain armaan.. par tu mujhsey itni achchi tarah baat kar raha hain?? tu thik toh hain,na??" adi reconfirmed still standing at the same place..

Armaan smiled widely nd then opening his eyes he said.. "of course yaar.. mujhey aaj tak lagta tha ki tu meri riddhi ke peechey hain, mujhsey meri jhalli ko chheen na chahta hain par now all doubts are sorted toh tu mera frnd hua aaj se..." adi relaxed completely nd finally wen his lips were breaking into a relieved smile, armaan threatened for the last time.. "but.. agar terey dil mein meri riddhi ko le kar koi bhi ulta seedha intention hain toh mujhsey boora koi nahi hoga.. samajh raha hain,na tu??" adi stiffened at first hearing this unexpected threat in between in happy speech but then composed himself soon as well nd then nodding in agreement, he smiled assuringly making armaan relieved to the core.. "great.. toh abhi revelation time buddy.. abhi tell me.. kya hain jhalli ka plan??" armaan quickly adjusted himself into a comfortable sitting position nd asked adi the most imp question while smiling wickedly knowing how he's gonna beat his jhalli back in her game.. "my my my basket.. trust me.. this is gonna be far more fun than u actually thought.." nd at once his devilish mind strted wrking wth a hard kick..

"umm..sure armaan.. but plz ridzy se mat kehna ki mainey bataya hain warna mar dalegi chipkali mujhey.." adi said ruffling his hair knowing how dangerous his chipkali can be in tyms.. bechara! He's in "age khai peeche kua" situation.. abhi armaan ko sach nai bataya toh wohh ussey chodega nahi aur agar ridzy ko pata chala toh ussey Jhansi ki rani banne mein ek second bhi nahi lagega.. poor soul.. god save him!

On the other hand armaan who was still busy in making plans about how to knock down his jhalli looked at adi at once as soon as he mentioned his riddhima as chipkali.. "chipkali..??" unable to control the amusement, armaan finally probed adi for more clarification..

"hahahaha.. haan chipkali.. actually ridzy ko lizards se bahot darr lagta tha.. u won't believe ki bachpan mein kitni bar mainey ussey fake lizards se daraya hain.. aur stupid har bar same trick mein fas bhi jati thi! itni darti thi wohh lizards se ki mein ussey chidane ke liye humesha chipkali bulata tha... gosh! I can nvr forget her expressions each tym I called her "chipkali".. gussey se laal-peela ho jati thi bilkul.. aur pata hain ussey tang karna mera fav hobby tha.. ussey tang kiye bina din poora hi nahi hota tha mera.. i truly miss those days sometimes yaar.." adi paused still smiling remembering their old crazy days..

"umm.. adi.. tujhey kabhi riddhi se pyar nahi hua??" armaan finally asked the question he was dying to ask from ages.. often he found adi staring at riddhima in office smilingly.. nd now also he's all lost mentioning his childhood memories with riddhima.. "god! does he love her? Oh god.. plz don't mke me hear this.." he still remembers today in d morning wen riddhima called him saying how she alwaz wanted her nd adi together, he almost got a heart attack that moment.. though now he knows dat it was only an act by her but still if adi says "yes" now, he'll feel bad for sure.. well.. it's obvious dat anyone can fall for his jhalli witin minutes after all she's too cute to be resisted but he loves her, mahn! He's truly, deeply, madly nd not to forget possessively in luv wth her.. the thought of having feelings for her that way in any random guys mind alwaz make him go mad with jealousy nd yeh toh adi hain.. they all wrk at d same place.. how will he be able to stay calm later if adi says yes now! No.. he won't.. he'll go insane each tym he sees adi near riddhima in future.. "god! plz thoda rehem karna..." he prayed mentally pampering god as much as possible..

Adi who was all amused seeing armaan blabbering under his breath making cute, funny faces smiled fully knowing wat this possessive guy must be dwelling in mind nd hence he decided to tease him lill bit.. after all he haunted him alwaz in his mind till now.. finally life has given him a golden chance.. thoda revenge toh banta hain... so he started wth a straight face.. "pyar? ridzy se?? umm.. pata nahi.. shayad.." nd armaan actually chocked his breathe hearing adi's words.. "did he actually say wat i heard?? Oh no no no no..." he cursed his luck nd was already to curse his luck even more wen his super intelligent mind 1st scolded his irrational heart for its stupidity nd thn presented some valid reasons so dat he can come back on the winning side once again..

"oh really? then whom were u talking wen I enter a few minutes before mr. ghai?? All those coochi-cooying wth ur GF.. oops no no.. not GF.. finance... does she know ur lill childhood romance history or should I tell her myself? Trust me yaar.. I'll be more dan happy to leak this precious information to the right place i know... " armaan paused smiling devilishly making adi look at him wide eyed! Boy.. he actually knows how to turn a lost match into a winning one.. no doubt all gals drools over him within minutes nd guys envy him to the core for his extreme wittiness.. looks with brain! Killer combination.. adi couldn't hlp but praise his opponent whole heartily in mind..

"chill yaar armaan! Main bass mazak kar raha tha.. mein sach mein ridzy se nahi nikita se pyar karta hoon.. nikki jissey mein baat kar raha tha thodi der pehley jab tu aya tha mujhey bulane.. actually we're in relation from months par kisi ko nahi pata abhi tak.. wohh nikki ko secret relationship enjoy karna tha.. u see.. too much of reading romantic novels kills the left over brain in gals truly.. aur merey sath bhi yehi hua.. ek toh ek pagal se pyaar ho gaya hain upar se sari utpatang cheesey try karna achcha lagta hain ussey.. abhi tak ghar mein nai pata aur usney shadi ki shopping bhi strt kar di.. kyunki ussey pata hain as usual uncle ussey mana nahi karenge aur meri mom toh already uspey fida hain.. lekin ussey shopping merey sath hi karni hain par haan pasand uski hi hogi.. main reject nahi kar sakta.. faces nahi bana sakta.. select bhi nahi kar sakta.. bas payment aur bags carry karne ke liye mujhey sath leti hain.. par mujhey jana zarror padta hain warna bhagwan hi bachaye mujhey.." adi paused nd sighed but continued again.. "abhi tu hasna bandh karega?? yahan mein apni sad love story suna raha hoon aur tu hain ki sympathy dene ki wajah has raha hain.. pata nahi yaar sarey pagal mujhey hi kyun mil rahe hain!!" adi stopped complaining at the end..

"sorry.. but don't mind yaar.. lekin I guess teri GF sach mein pagal hain.." armaan said trying to straighten his face but nxt moment burst out into laughter rolling on the bed like a maniac.. "god! shadi ka pata nahi but shpping strted.. aur mujhey lagta tha ki riddhi hi sabsey badi pagal hain.. hahahaha.. congrats yaar.. u've beaten me in this.."

"armaan???" adi whined dejectedly but soon he too joined in his laughter..

After a few minutes of laughter marathon finally adi said.. "bas armaan.. aur nahi has sakta mein.." while trying to catch his breath.. armaan, too, got up nd wiped the tears off his eyes which was d result of their non stop laughing from minutes... nd then catching his breath, he too agreed.. "main bhi.." both guys paused suddenly bringing a pin drop silence in the room while looking at each other for nxt a few seconds nd then again the duo burst out into maddening laughter..

"u knw hum bilkul teenage gals jaisey behave kar rahe hain.. no reason but hasey hi jaa rahey hain.." adi said in between his hiccups..

"I knw.. jhalli ka asar hain.." armaan said while adi agreed chuckling.. "aur mujhpey nikki ka.."

"correct" armaan said grinning widely nd nxt momnt they high-fived loudly agreeing over the insaneness of their gals..

"achcha yaar abhi mujhey details mein bata kyun aur kab tum dono ne yeh drama plan kiya??" aditya sighed nd told him everything about their plan making armaan amused with his basket's master plan.. "woww.. i never knew meri jhalli itni intelligent hain.. but i must say she acted superbly.. god yaar riddhima.. do i know u completely?? kitney shades hain tumharey.." armaan said mentally feeling impressed over the fact that they have similar kind of evil minds!

"par wohh bahot boori halat mein thi armaan.. tujhey ussey aisa nahi kehna chahiye tha.. waisey tu sach mein nxt month shadi kar raha hain kya? Ya fir tuney bhi ussey confess karwane ke liye avayein yeh sab keh diya??" adi asked raising his eyebrow bringing armaan back from his chain of thoughts.. nd thn grinning sheepishly, he confessed.. "toh kya karta yaar wohh koi hint hi nahi de rahi thi.. toh bas yuhin.." but adi cut him this tym.. "yuhin?? Tujhey pata bhi hain kitna royi thi ridzy uss din.. nxt day office mein bhi uski aankhey soojhi hui thi.. kameena hain tu ek number ka! bina sochey itna rulaya bechari ko.." adi scolded while huffing n puffing in between nd armaan juz made a guilty puppy face in return.. "sorry na.. itna nahi socha tha tab.. par abhi score level ho gaya,na.. basket ne bhi subhah wohh call karke mujhey almost mar hi dala tha.." armaan protested but got a deadly glare from adi only.. "sorry.." armaan pouted more making adi sigh deeply..

"koi nhi.. abhi ja aur confess kar de.. aab toh tujhey sach pata chal gaya,na.." adi said smiling assuringly..

"nope.. abhi toh aur bhi hungama hona baki hain.. basket ne itni smart move li hain, i must say i'm highly impressed.. aab mujhey bhi toh fir se score karna padega,na.. after all the great genius mallik kabhi nahi harta.. aur jhalli se toh kabhi bhi nahi.." armaan declared proudly raising his invisible collar while adi nodded his head in helplessness.. "dono ke dono pagal hain.. pata nahi aab age aur kya kya hone wala hain.." on the other hand armaan juz chuckled evilly while all busy in thinking in his mind.. "meri pyaari jhalli basket gupta ji.. get ready for d real emotional attyachar now.. mujhey jalane aye thi,na.. abhi mein bhi dekhta hoon kaun jalta hain age chalkar.. huhahaha..."
