So...the past is revealed, and it shows us how the Raizada women have taken emotional blackmail to a whole new level!
Arnav was going to propose,huh? That changes everything. He was serious about her, and that only makes his ultimate decision that much worse...and puzzling. But I guess it's understandable too, given what his Di was threatening to do.
I love the way you've written that last scene, his anguish comes through very well.
I also like this portrayal of Lavanya. She has the innate strength that just might get her through this, despite the thoughts of the past (read Sheetal) that has come back to haunt her.
That brooch story was an excellent, poignant touch!
And then we have Mr.Drunk Raizada, who is inexcusably rude to his wife.
But then he does realize what he has done the next morning, so I'm going to wait for his apology before passing judgement.
Khushi...what do I say about her?
My heart goes out to her, especially since she seems to have taken her Buaji's words seriously and is trying her best to give this a go...it isn't her fault that her husband is in love with someone else and can't see beyond that!
Waiting for Monday...and that apology. This better be good, Arnowji!
