She finished up writing the last line of her diary. She had a smile play upon her lips and she turned to look at her bed only to see a little 4 year princess sleeping in her dad's embrace. The scene just made her heart swell up with happiness. She remembered… she remembered it all yet she was such a big fool to not recognize it. But since, she had now; she is by any chance not letting this go away from her... at any cost.

25 years back…
"Arey, arey ruko tum dono… arey stop!" shouted a panting lady who was of around 20 years. Two children were running, holding hands as if even a slight bit of separation would rip their world apart. Both the child look towards each other when the boy winked at the girl while the girl gave him a wicked smile. The boy left her hand and went towards the lady who was panting hard by running all around in the orphanage catching 'em up – which seems like a hell tiring work. The boy bent in-front of her, gave her a sweet kiss on her cheek and ran away only shocking the lady to the shell. "These two…" the lady let her thought be incomplete as the two children started to run all around in the garden. Finally after seeing what they had done to the lady, they both stopped and started to laugh their heart out. It felt so good to their heart, well at-least at that instance of time.
They lady approached towards them and started to pull their ears. "Bahut tang karte ho tum dono mujhe. Tum bacchon ko toh main abhi bataati hun." Said the said the lady as they both pouted. "Now don't make these faces." Said the lady in an annoyed voice. "Ammi sorry na!" said the small girl. "Chup, ek dum chup. Ek aur word nikla na muh se toh thappad padega!" said the lady while the girl made a cry face and ran away. The boy gave a disappointed look to the lady and ran behind the girl.
"Kriya?" he said as he sat beside a weeping girl. The way he had found Kriya – sitting on the ground with her face buried down and her hands wrapping her legs – broke him. He is her best friend after all. "Hmm?" came out her reply. They both sat there not speaking anything and letting the silence speak it up all.
Even at this tender age, they understood things beyond their level. They understand why they are here, living in an orphanage. Well they at-least understood the type of thing which they should knew by the next level of their life.
"Main bahut buri hun na rey?" spoke out kriya in her childish tone. "Who said that?" asked rey and continued soon, "You are the best.!" even he replied in his kiddish tone. Kriya looked up to him with a tear striken face and hugged him while he hugged her back. "Umm now lets go and hide somewhere. Aaaj log aa rahe hain adopt karne ke liye. I don't want someone to take me away from you." rey pouted while kriya let out a chuckle and they both stood and left to 'hide'.
"Kahan gaye ye dono ab!" the same lady huffed looking for the duo but was unable to find them anywhere. There was a couple who wanted to adopt a boy child. All the children whom they had been shown, are not what they ever wanted to have. The head stated about Rey and the lady was out to search for them. But fortunately or unfortunately she was not able to find him at all. She was passing by Kriya's room and saw lights turn on. That's when she realized that Kriya was also not present over there. She peeped in to see both Kriya and Rey sitting and talking.
She smiled seeing them together but soon her smile vanished. She entered in and asked Rey to come with her. Kriyaansh being Kriyansh, just took a hold of eachother's hand and left with the lady. The lady took Rey towards the couple. Their eyes were shining brightly indicating that Rey was all they ever wanted. They went to talk to the lady while rey was told that he is going to be adopted. Both Kriya and Rey's face fell while tears started to flow down Kriya's eyes. She ran to her room and shut it tight. The way that lady saw Kriya, she was 110% sure that it was going to be a hell difficult work to make her smile again. Rey was banging Kriya's door and asking her to at-least open it but she was not opening it at all. Her loud sobs was one thing which was breaking Rey up. He can't see her in this condition, EVER!
Finally after what seems like eternity, Kriya opened the door after listening to a lot of pleading from Rey's side. As soon as she opened it, Rey hugged her as if there is nothing more special to him except her. Soon he took out a locket from his pocket and gave it to her. That was one thing he had ever since his parents have left him here. Kriya was on the verge of crying but composed herself. "You... you will write a letter na?" asked Kriya as her hiccups continued. Rey just nodded a yes and that's when the couple just took him away.
Neither the couple, nor the orphanage people ever saw Rey or Kriya smiling for a week. Rey hardly used to interact. He spends his time mostly by caressing the gift he had got from Kriya after their 1 year friendship while Kriya just locked herself in her room, cried everyday and looked at the locket he had left for her.
The sweet and bubbly Kriya was lost somewhere and no one knew where...
A week later, she too was adopted by the Ghai's. Rey got a new name - Reyaansh Singhania while Kriya got - Kriya Ghai.
None of them knew where their destiny would ever lead them to...

Kriya smiled remembering how she used to be with him while a tear trickled down her cheek as she remembered about the separation. They were just 10 at that time and they shared a deep bonding. A very deep indeed. She remembered what happened in their lafe followed that event.

15 years after the separation...
Kriya looked up at her reflection in the mirror. She was made to dress up in a heavy purple and pink lehnga. It was her wedding day and she was getting married to a person whom she hardly knows. Well they have met sometimes and that too when he and his parents came for her 'rishta'. The way he talked, his personality and everything just conveyed her to say a yes. Well she just can't wait for her Rey to come and take her away when she knew he can't or he won't.
Today, she was getting married to Reyaansh Singhania and little did she knew that her would be husband is the one whom she dreaded to meet just once. The wedding was an event to remember. It was a bliss and the night that followed was surely a pure bliss for them.
The next day she found herself wrapped in her husband's arms naked. She blushed crimson red thinking of what had transpired between them the last night. she stroked his face with her delicate hands while Rey enjoyed the touch of her hands on his skin. His skin was burning hot with her one touch. He opened his eyes shocking kriya. The next second, she was trapped underneath him and they were involved in a steamy kiss. He pressed his forehead on hers as he let out the words he was dying to say, "You are the best thing which ever happened to me." The events of their marriage had made them close and they had shared some of their personal intimate moments. Well not that what they had the last night.
He gave her a smooth kiss on her forehead and asked her to go and freshen up.
A year later, Rey lost a big thing of his life - His parents. It was a hard thing for Kriya to do to bring him back to normal.
He used to cry his nights out. He wanted to shoulder to cry upon and Kriya was the one who gave him that.
A day...
Rey came home exhausted by the work and remembering about his parents. As he entered their room he retired on the bed. His head resting back and his eyes closed. Kriya came out of the washroom after freshening up. She went and sat beside him, and layed her head on his chest. His hand automatically finds the way for her waist and pulled her close to him. She was all he ever needed to be fine and now when he have it, he isn't letting it go away. Kriya started to give him kisses all over his body and that night they made love the whole time and slept at around 5 in the morning. Rey canceled off every meeting that day and just spend his day by being close to his wife, in her embrace. She looked up at his face and kissed his tears away and he hugged her tight releasing all the pain he had in his heart.
The week that followed was a perfect bliss. Kriya let out the news of her being pregnant to him and he was on cloud nine. That was the first time Kriya had ever saw him happy to that extent after the death of his parents. How the nine months flew away, none of them knew. And when the labor pain came, Rey was shrieking out but the wails of a little princess made his heart swell up with happiness. He wiped his tears and took a hold of her princess and went inside the room only to see an exhausted Kriya on the bed with a slight smile. He went and sat next to her. Kissing her forehead, he handed their princess to her while she cooed her with Rey admiring the only reasons of his existence.
How the years passed, no one knew and now it was 4th birthday of their angel.
"Dada..." the little girl smiled as she rushed towards her dad who picked her up and twirled her round and gave her a kiss on her cheek."How's my princess uh?" Rey asked. "Dada dekho na mumma zabardasti ye khilaaying!" she made a yuck face. "Umm par khana toh padega!" He said as she got a glare from Kriya. "Nahi! Main nahi khaaungi!" she replied facing away. Rey smiled seeing their daughter. "Accha theek hai.." her face lit up and she smiled up at him and Rey continued "... agar aap ye nahi khaaoge toh main gobhi khilvaaunga!" He spoke out with a chuckle. "Nahi! Gobhi nahi!!!" she made a yuck face again. "Toh yehi khaana padega then..." Rey said. "But.." she tried to protest. "Accha if you will have it, dada aapko ice-cream khilvaayenge." said Rey with a smile playing upon his lips. "Pakka?" asked the little girl. "Haan pakka! Ab jaao kahana khaao jo aapki mummy ne banaaya hai." Rey spoke out making her stand on her own foots while the little girl ran towards the dining table and started to eat up the dinner. Rey went towards her and hugged her from behind while she gave out a smile and rested her head back on his shoulder. "Rey maine kisi ko bulaaya hai dinner pe. Chalega na?" asked Kriya. "Nahi. Daudega. Puchti kyun ho tum? Sirf mera ya humaari angel ka toh ghar nahi hai na ye Kriya?" asked Rey. Kriya smiled up at him and that's when the doorbell rang. "Umm wo aa gaye honge. Main dekhti hun." Kriya said and left to attend the person.
As soon as she opened the door, she was greeted with a smile she knew from ages. She hugged the lady and took her blessings asking her to come inside. Just the instance Rey saw the lady, he went and took blessings from her while he got a big hug from her side. "Aap yahan? Kaisi ho?" he asked the lady. The lady cupped Rey and Kriya's face as tears brimmed in her eyes. "Kabhi koi alag nahi kar sakta tum dono ka." She smiled at them while kriyaansh maintained a confuse face. "Bachpan mein bhi koi alag kar de toh 'meri Kriya koi koi kuch nahi bolega' chalta tha tumhara!" the lady let it out as she kissed both of their foreheads while Kriya's and Rey's eyes went wide realizing who the other was.
The supper was an event to remember. As promised, Rey brought his angel's favorite ice-cream while the lady took their leave. The girl was fast asleep. She hated being surrounded by unknown faces and that is what prevented Rey and Kriya from throwing a party on her birthday.
Kriya was picking up the plates and cleaning up the dining table just to avoid the topic which she knew would come up soon. Rey took a hold of her hand, took the dishes and kept them back on the table. He caressed her cheek, while Kriya closed her eyes as tears flowed down them. Rey kissed them away. "Kriya?" he spoke out as she looked up at him with tears in her eyes. She just hugged him with all the force she had making him loose his balance a bit but soon he managed and turned her round with her in his arms safe. The weeps of her mother crying wake the little princess up. Both Rey and Kriya were soo much engrossed in each other that they didn't notice her. She pouted as she didn't had her parents attention. She walked towards them and pulled the pallu of Kriya's saree. "Kya hua?" she asked. Kriya nodded a nothing and took her daughter in her embrace and kissed her forehead.
That was their happy little family…..
