Here is the interpretation to Section 4 of Part 23.

When Arnav walked into the godown with the complimentary magazine from Anamika, Munshiji was away. Arnav felt happy as he made his way into the section where Khushi worked. Khushi was having her lunch with radio for her company. The song that was being played was

Ghulne de zara saanson mei..

It was a song on love and it said,

Let the love dissolve in the breath

When the moonlight is spread over everywhere

Why should I only crave for the moon

As Arnav stood watching she broke a piece of puri holding the aloo sabzi inbetween her fingers on the broken piece and popped it into her mouth. When he called her softly, Khushi, she was startled and choked on the morsel she was eating. Arnav quickly moved towards her in lithe strides, and started to thump her back and rub vigorously leaving the magazine on her table. Khushi after a bit, sat back gasping and asked him panting, whether he was interested in making her breathe her last, before marrying her. Arnav cupping her face dropped a kiss on her nose and whispered along her cheek, with his lips touching it that, not even if she deems it fit to stop his breath daily, by make him worry about her, still he would never do it.

Oh my God, some day, just like that, some small joy

give to me too..

Khushi taking an exception to his remark asked him whether he was talking about making him worry about her. Pushing him away, she asked him when was it that she ever made him worry about her. Arnav warned her not to rake it up and get him start listing it. Khushi, standing with her hands on her hips told him he better begin. She will be able to match each of the worry he lists to have inflicted by her with one from her own list.

Arnav began with the night at the guest house, still living the nightmarish incident, anxiety lurking in his voice. He continued to say that, he had sent her there to work and she went missing and that too, in a building that was in dilapidated condition, unfit to be entered.

Khushi countered him with, who was it who sent her to that godforsaken tumbledown building? It was he, so he himself was responsible for his worries and not she. Khushi asked him, did she go on her knees and beseech him to send her to that ruinous guest house of his, that was not even fit to be entered into? She asked him wiggling her eyebrows, she expecting him to reply. Arnav with a frown asked her, was there any necessity to faint when he reached there. Khushi giving a dry smirk answered, how could she not faint? He had made her stand in the rain at night and then had sent her to work to keep her awake all night, followed by staring hard with anger, then she had to leave half way through her breakfast and was ordered to go to that guest house building. She had not found any cooks over there to prepare food for her. How could he expect her to fight with him on an empty stomach?

The song continued to say that,

Our love should have such a story

in which we talk in eyes

and let these lips, these lips be silent

The untold, unheard, all soulful story of our love

Arnav began to speak Khushi, but she cut him through and all the talk about food reminded her of her lunch, and asked Arnav, did he have his lunch? And when he answered no, Khushi pushed him into her seat and sat on her table. Arnav who opened his mouth to protest got a piece of puri with aloo stuffed into his mouth. The song from the radio meant,

There is your yes in the restlessness of the waves

It is your love only dissolved in the moonlight

Arnav Singh Raizada, played never to loose. But with Khushi Kumari Gupta as his opponent he knew he was floored. He with a meekness that was alien to him, followed her lead and chewed the tasty pieces of her lunch she shared with him. She fed him while she too ate, with her legs swinging, looking like an imp in pink. Placing the last bit of morsel in his mouth, Khushi complained as to why he had come to meet her instead of having his lunch? What if his sugar has gone low and had lost his consciousness like it had happened earlier? Did he even know that she had been scared out of her wits to see the great ASR sway and hit the floor right in front of her eyes? It had made such an impact it was as though her heart was in her mouth. He felt contrite to see her so worried and smiled. But she, taking an exception to his smile, declared he was not to smile and his smile scares her. He is forever scaring her with either by shouting at her or scaring the wits out of her by fainting or he was scaring her by.. It was left incomplete as her eyes travelled over his lips and she swallowed hard

Tell your morning once even for the sake of it,

I will forget what is right and what is wrong

Arnav with a naughty smile asked her, whether he was scaring her. Coming up with a quick nothing, she tried to jump off the table, but Arnav caught hold of her hand. Khushi trying to free her hand asked him with a note of admonition in it as to what he was doing. To let go of her hand so that she could to wash it. Arnav who was known to never miss such an opportunity offered his services to clean it. The song was in tandem with their feeling.

The heart, being mad, has forgotten everything

forgotten everything.

While Khushi was watching him with a frown, Arnav dropping a kiss on her palm, started to lick her fingers daintiliy. Khushi stared at him for a moment and then a tinkling of laughter burst out of her. Gasping she asked Arnav to let go of her hand. She said that it tickled her. Sucking on her finger, running the tip of his warm tongue along the length of her digit , he made Khushi hitch her breath and pull her finger out of his mouth, Seeing that she was breathing heavily, his eyes moving over her heaving bosom and the flamed cheeks, asked her whether she felt that it was only a tickle? Khusi could only blush more and the feelings he had stirred in her made her silent. Unable to control the feeling of butterflies flutter in her tummy, jumping off from her perch, she rushed to wash her hands amidst Arnav's warning, careful Khushi. Khushi was a bunch of quivering nerves and she could feel her limbs tremble with this unexpected attack on her senses. She returned to the room slowly, reluctant to face him, only to see Arnav smile with an innocent look, as though he had done nothing.

Seeing her, Arnav told her to come near him to view the magazine, Anamika had sent which had their photos in it. Khushi's face lit up to hear it and with eageress, she moved towards him to see the pictures. Catching her by the waist Arnav lifted her on the table and his fingers lingeringly, trailed over her waist and hips making the most of the touch before leaving it with reluctance. His touch made her shiver and and placing her legs close together, pulled her kameez down to cover her knees. Arnav took the chair and pulling out the magazine from its cover, placed it on her lap and helped her leaf it over to the appropriate page.

Arnav eyes took on an extremely soft expression when he looked at the picture. He thought, Ganesh must be a genius and extremely skilled to be able to capture Khushi's beauty and innocence so well! How he was able to see what was in her heart so well he wondered. While Arnav was observing Khushi in the picture, Khushi had eyes only for Arnav. She exclaimed that as she had told him white suited him a lot. All Arnav said was a Hhmmm. His eyes were riveted on Khushi's picture. He told her that she looked beautiful. Khushi with a frown told him that it was so because the girl in the picture doesn't look like her, She is beautiful because of Anamikaji's fabulous clothes, Ganeshji's brilliant photography, the make-up, the high heels, the jewellery, the hair style and so many other things.

When she paused Arnav told her that, he was not talking about the clothes. The girl in the picture was beautiful because of her smile, her open eyes, the love he could see in them, her kind heart, all those were hers. His voice had gone soft and it made Khushi look into his serious and earnest eyes and nod. Continuing in the same vein, Arnav asked her why did Anamika design clothes for her. Khushi who had never given a thought to it, frowned and told maybe because she knows him. Hearing it Arnav laughed and said that, Anamika hates his spunk but loves Khushi. Khushi became wide-eyed hearing his words. She questioned, she hates him. How could anyone hate him? She herself gave an explanation that maybe Anamikaji doesn't really know him well. He need not worry about it. She would tell Anamikaji how good he was, how kind.. Arnav with a smile asked her how she would tell Anamika so. Khushi with a frown told him that she would call her, as Anamikaji had given her phone number. She had also said that if Khushi wanted to see her, she just had to go to her office and give her name to the receptionist and trailed off hearing Arnav's laughter. He called out Khushi, Khushi and asked does she know who Anamika was. Khushi answered that she was not his girlfriend and had asked her so when she met her. Arnav literally had his eyes pop out. He was stunned to hear Khushi's words and stammered, you, you asked Anamika if she was his girlfriend? Yes, was Khushi's casual retort and went on to explain in her simple logical way, how was she to know if she doesn't ask. Arnav was incredulous. He just couldn't believe that Khushi had asked Anamika such a question. With his voice laced still with an unbelievable tinge in it, he asked, what her reply was. When Khushi simply said she had laughed, Arnav chuckled and told her that Anamika was the best designer in India hands down. Khushi's so, made him explain that she designs for Royals, Bollywood actors. This statement of his made her face light up. Like they say all roads lead to Rome, for Khushi, Bollywood actors meant her Salman Khanji and she asked so she designs for Salman Khanji too was it? Arnav smiled and told her with an exasperated sigh, that is if he was lucky enough. Khushi frowned at his remark. Arnav clarified that Anamika was choosy about her clientele. Nobody had her personal cell number except Khushi, may be Ganesh Vidyarthi and a few of her colleagues, making her eyes wide. Her receptionist was an invincible nut to crack and guards Anamika with her life. Khushi couldn't believe what she heard. She couldn't believe that he was talking about Koelji and asked him whether he meant Koelji? She was a nice person who provided her with tea, samosa and channa. Arnav told her that celebrities approach her sweet Koelji for an appointment and she refuses them with a calm face. And Anamika had asked her to go up to this very same Koelji and tell her that she wants to meet Anamika? Arnav asked Khushi smiling at her innocence. Khushi stared at him with her lips making an 'O' in shock. Arnav continued to enlighten Khushi that, Anamika has a chain of retail outlets across the world through which she sells her brand of clothing. Her team of designers was the best. She spends most of the year in Delhi, working from the studio they went to. There, she displays her personal designs and works for a handful of clients. Anamika, to put it simply, was the best. Khushi was rendered silent. Arnav told her that he has been behind her for the past 6 years, trying to get her to design a line for AR, using ethnic designs and natural materials. But he had not yet been able to. Is that why Anamikaji doen't like him was Khushi's query. It made Arnav smile, nod and say that all their attempts had met with rejection. The flowers that AR Designs sent her had all been returned. The gifts that Aman had picked too met with the same treatment. All attempts to get an appointment with her had met with failure. In all these years, he had seen her just thrice. The third time was at the party when she met Anamika. She rarely attended public or private functions. That was why he was shocked to see her at his party. Khushi was too overwhelmed by the truth and it rendered her speechless.

Arnav turning the page with a smile on his face felt his breath stilled. Khushi, who was looking at him and still pondering over what he told, took in his expression. She was startled and peeked at the picture. It was the picture with her in white lehenga gracing the stairs with her feet hovering between the steps and Arnavji was waiting for her at the foot. She gasped at seeing the picture and told Arnav that how cleverly Ganeshji had changed the background of studio into a haveli look. Arnav nodded. When Khushi, declared and said that she was going to cut those pictures and fix them on her wall, so that she could see him whenever she wanted to, he smiled and offered that she need not do that. He asked her to call him whenever she wanted to see him, and he would appear before her, setting her cheeks aflame. Arnav turned the page with utmost care.

Next was the picture of the outdoor scene, with him lying on her lap. Khushi in cream sari and silver blouse looked cool like a dessert, tempting enough to be gobbled up on a hot day, made him smile. Khushi expressing her heartfelt appreciation told him that Anamikaji possesses a magic wand. She had never realized that green would suit him too. With a teasing note in her voice she asked him, why didn't he wear kurta-sherwani to his office instead of his Laad Governor suits? They suited him so well that no client of his would be able to say no to him. Arnav in return teased her saying that she needed to write a book on how to run a business that was bound to hit the stands as a best seller, making both laugh.

Looking at the picture of Scooby nestling in the basket catching some zzzee's she touched the puppy's face and said it was so sweet, making Arnav remark with a smile that he had thought it would fall off the basket. He turned the page with his eyes lingering longingly on the picture of Khushi cradling him on her lap. The next picture was in an opulent setting of a stately ballroom in a luxurious resort or palace. It had fluted white pillars supporting the elaborately molded and stuccoed acanthus a la Corinthian columns that acted as the base for the arches, a typical Greecian interior, elaborately designed rose in the ceiling with a chandelier dropping down from its centre, a fireplace with a mantle-piece on it, gilded mirrors, candle stand, gilded settees, lace drapes all in the theme of white and gold.

In the centre were Arnav and Khushi. Arnav dressed in black sherwani with collar, cuff and buttons, embroidered in rich colours of maroon, white and antique gold making him look elegant and impressive. Khushi was in a diaphanous pink and sea green lehenga that was blended with gold and silver making her look bewitchingly alluring. They were dancing lost to the world. Khushi was held close to Arnav with his arms wound tight around her bare waist, their bodies pressed together and her feet, off the ground. Arnav was twirling her and her skirt had billowed out around her. With her arms around his neck, head tilted back on her slender swan-like neck, they were lost in each other, their eyes seeing nothing but the other. Their expression had love, desire, passion, hunger making the viewer gulp at the depth of their feelings. The chemistry that one could feel seemed to set the paper on fire and definitely leave the viewer with a sense of awe.

Khushi gulped and stole a glance at Arnavji. He was looking at her with a burning desire that had made his carmel eyes, show flecks of gold. Unable to withstand his gaze, Khushi quickly averted her eyes and hurried to turn the page. To avert his gaze from her, she whispered that there must be one more.

Arnav and Khushi looked at the fifth picture and had their breath stilled! It was a last picture and Ganesh had used Suhaag Raat as its theme. The setting was a darkened bedroom with an antique bed decorated with a net of fragrant flowers, with aromatic candles lighting up the room. Through the chains of tuberose and rose petals,

Khushi could be seen sitting waiting for her groom. She was in a red green lehenga. The lehenga took different hues of red under the intricate gold work. The rich red dupatta covering part of her hair had gold work that framed her head like a tiara. Her sindoor filled maang, her bindi, her nath, her heavy earrings, her mangalsutra, her necklace with rubies and emeralds, her armlets, her bangles, her dark mehendi all added to her allure. The hem of her lehenga lay on her feet with her mehendi and silver payals visible. She was sitting with her knees bended up in a typical bridal posture and her fingers entwined tightly on her knees giving a glimpse of her nervousness.

Arnav stood a little away making it look as though he had just come in through the door and was walking towards her. Lights had been focused more on his face and it fell on his white sherwani giving it a diffused reflectance. Arnav looked as though he had just glimpsed his heart's dearest desire. It was like a dream come true, a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. It looked as though he was scared to approach her lest she vanished into thin air. It looked like he wanted her in his arms in a firm grip never to let go of her come what may.

Khushi's eyes were lowered as though she could feel her Arnavji's eyes on her. Her lips had a taken up a red tinge that owed nothing to make-up and her cheeks were rosy with shyness and anticipation. The diamonds on her mangalsutra glistened at the stray beam of light hitting it. Khushi shut the magazine with in a haste and held it close to her heart with her eyes closed and tried to control her rapid breathing and palpitating heart. Gulping on her words she said that he should go now... His office... She must go too. Her sweets.. incoherently.

This update tells us about FEAT.

When Arnav walked into go down, Khushi who was about to have her lunch stopped. Her choking on food led them to a repartee on worrying. It gave her the opportunity to get an upper hand in their conversation. She countered his every reasoning and added some more of her own. It was a feat by itself. Arnav was unable to counter argue because of his earlier actions.

"Blessed is the man who, having nothing to say, abstains from giving us wordy evidence of the fact"

~ George Eliot, Impressions of Theophrastus Such

Khushi who was hungry admonished Arnav for not having his lunch on time and jeopardize his health. He took the admonish silently and it would have been a feat if it was ASR but with Arnav it had become a norm. Khushi fed Arnav from her box while she ate. It gave him a chance to enjoy the meal, the company and the pleasant view she made. Grabbing the chance he got in a platter, to touch her he took her hand and licked her fingers making her into a bundle of nerves. That was also quite a feat on his part to get her to acquiesce with his wishes after the kiss debacle.

"What will remain is neither you nor me but what we shared among each other"

~ Santosh Kalwar

Seeing the pictures Arnav realized that it was quite a feat to get the master photographer, Ganesh Vidyarthi shoot those pictures. His pictures had captured the essence of their love, understanding, yearning, passion, hunger, beauty, innocence, earnestness, open acceptance of one another.

"Eyes can only capture objects that already seen in mind. And mind can only see things that already written in heart"

~ Toba Beta, My Ancestor Was an Ancient Astronaut

Coming to know how Khushi met Anamika and Anamika's open acceptance of Khushi despite her dislike for Arnav due to his attitude, Arnav told Khushi that it was a real feat to be accepted by Anamika who was a kind of recluse and choosy about whom she mingles with. Khushi on coming to know who Anamika really was is stunned. Arnav had been trying for quite a few years to get an appointment with her for business but had his every attempt thwarted while Anamika had given Khushi carte blanche, to call or meet at any time. He is stunned by this appealing nature of Khushi. She without any pretensions and but just simplicity has been able to attract people towards her. He acknowledges the power of her character and knows it is quite a feat to be able to befriend the most sought out designer of the time. Khushi calling Anamika's receptionist Koel as a nice and homely lady while the rest think her as a tart and a sour puss rolled into one, confirmed to him that it was her individual trait of befriending people and always seeing the good side of them that has stood by her. To be so is by itself was a feat.

"Don't underestimate your worth by comparing yourself with others"

~ Jaachynma N.E. Agu, The Prince and the Pauper

Their fourth and fifth photographs though set in grandeur, did not detract from the very theme it was shot for, the love of Arnav and Khushi. It was a photographic feat and it was a feat to capture their expressions, one while dancing and the other during the Suhaag raat depiction. The settings, one in white and gold enhancing the colourful clothes of both and the other one with dark setting of the bedroom with the diffused light shown on them while the rest of the room was illuminated by the aureate lighting of the candles. Both left the viewers in no doubt about their feelings. It was a show-case of their emotions. To capture it in the picture was a feat by itself and it was a feat on the part of Anamika to get Ganesh to do it and batten down the hatches. It would ensure that hatches are in place when the first salvo is fired.

"When love is at the base of something it is a masterpiece"

~ Steve Maraboli, Life, the Truth, and Being Free

Bringing the magazine to the secluded area of that of godown was a feat by Arnav Singh Raizada and he had made Khushi Kumari Gupta a bundle of nerves viewing the pictures together and now I would really love to see what he does to soothe her.

"Whenever you want to achieve something, keep your eyes open, concentrate and make sure you know exactly what it is you want. No one can hit their target with their eyes closed"

~ Paulo Coelho, The Devil and Miss Prym

Thats why I call it FEAT.

wonderful reshu.

thanks for the pm.

Thats why I call it FEAT.

That's it from me. Hope you enjoy it.

I know, I know. You are in love with my ceiling, Madam A.😆

Your interpretation is a feat👏, Rash! One I am thankful for!

Arnav told her that celebrities approach her sweet Koelji for an appointment and she refuses them with a calm face.

That's it from me. Hope you enjoy it.

wonderful di...
loved the comment...

anamika and ganesh are well known personalities of their field and they can well read in and out of the person...may be tht is the thing help them to the top...thts why anamika has in first meeting got to know the khushi who is totally unaware of the world's manipulation, has nothing to do with the peoples in short dresses with daaru in hands unless they came to her telling abt how good kisser ASR is...

khushi won anamika's heart in very 1st meeting and she decided to desine for khushi, whereas she pays no heeds to the things offered frm AR company to work with her...

thnks for the PM di...

I am first on Smita's update..
Coming to update..
It was so breath taking.. I didn't realize I was holding it thru out that Kiss of Khushi. 😳
and then you master in conveying Khushi's feeling Smita.
Her need, her desire.. her wanting to have his lips on hers, beautifully written. I was completely drawn into that moment.
And, then She cupped his face & Kissed him leaving behind all hesitation.. all sharam. Loved that. Loved it so much. I always like it when the feeling of desire is equal on both sides 😳
Lovely progress from Khushi. 😃 Brilliant Smita.
And Gaurav is hospitalized 😔 now that's sad. and what is the term between Anamika & Ganesh?
are we to see some past story of Anamika.. to know how she became of what she is now.😊
Thanks Rashmi for PM and Smita for giving such beautiful updates everyday.. 😃
